(Chris hasn't told anyone his name yet. Lol.)

Chris nodded back, glancing over at Mimeco, looking her over, then back at Ever. Stuck in a house with two goodlooking girls. He thought to himself, with a faint smile. "Uh, hi." He said, offering a hand to shake. As he did, his eyes shifted to Nick. His build, reminded Chris of the thugs chasing him before he came here. What's a guy like that doing here...? He wondered, before his mind registered what he was saying. "Yeah?" He began, annoyed at Nick's remark on Chris not looking tough. The guy Chris had pummeled said something along those lines to him, but he meant to offend by it. Although Nick looked tough, Chris could no doubt take him on. Chris has taken on bigger and stronger people than him, and one. Proof being the guy in the Hospital.

"I found old jars of furit. They usual perserve well if done right." She turned to Nick and listened. If this guy had done that she was impressed. "Looks can be tricky." She said out loud as she examined the new guy. He didn't look like much, but she knew better then to go by looks. Then again, he also reminded her of some of the guys that she saw when she was younger and her mother was still alive. Mimeco smiled seeing that the new guy eye'd her. She took his hand and shook it. "Well aren't you just cute." She commented. "I am Mimeco and you are?" She asked in a sweet tone.

Nick chuckled, shaking his head as he walked over and pulled the jar of preserves away. He popped the jar open, and looked inside. After sniffing, he smirked- "Mm. Peaches," he muttered, looking around the kitchen. "We got any forks? I'm starved." He began shuffling through drawers to find the silverware.

[[ Sorry! D: apparently I’m psychic haha ]]

Ever stepped back once more, successfully removing herself from the conversation. “Fruit. Disgusting.” she muttered to herself, slumping into a chair. She pulled one knee up near her chest in order to pull at a lose thread in her jeans. Pulling at the thread caused it to get longer. Ever frowned at it and gave up. She peered over her raised knee, looking between Mimeco and Chris. Ever smirked at them, hoping they wouldn’t notice. With a fake cough, she did her best to hide her face.

Chris smiled at Mimeco's remark, adjusting his backpack so both straps were over his shoulders. "My name's Chris." He stated, before glancing at Ever. "Were you the first one here?" He asked, approaching her with an eyebrow raised. He figured that if she was the first one here, he could get some more info about what goes on here.

Ever looked up at Chris. “Yup. That would be me.” She flashed him an overly exaggerated smile. With one last pull of the thread, she put her foot on the floor. “Why do you ask?” What she really wanted to say was Why does it matter? We're all here now.

He pushed up his glasses, crossing his arms. "I just figured that, in the time you spent here before anyone else you would have figured out a thing or two about this place." He shoved his hands into his pockets, looking around at the interior. "And another thing. Where do we sleep?" With that, he yawned. He hasn't slept in an entire day, and spent most of the night running for his life. He was tired, and needed to relax.

"Would have?" Ever clarified, raising an eyebrow before continuing with her answer. “Well I’ve discovered that nothing interesting happens here.” Ever began, “Also, somehow the doors are locked, or something, and we hope to get them open in the morning.” She then gestured, with one hand, to the hall. “The third door on the right leads to the stairs, and then to another hallway. The…first door on the left -I think- is a little girl’s bedroom. You can sleep there unless you feel like doing some exploring.” She gave him a sly smile, having not thought about their sleeping arrangements until that point. “But be careful, the doors like to slam in your face. Apparently the house is drafty…” She trailed off, lost in thought.

"Or haunted," Nick added, mouth full of peaches. He had already finished off that jar, and licked his lips. "Forever the home of the demented little girl who killed herself, or some other equally ridiculous nonsense," he said, chuckling to himself as he drank the last of the syrupy mix at the bottom. "Mm. Yep, that must be it. Little girl liked slamming doors in people's faces, and one day someone snapped. Killed her, she comes back and haunts this place for eternity." He smirked, dropping the empty jar in the sink as he picked up a rag and wiped his face.

Ever raised an eyebrow at Nick. “Haunted?” She rolled her eyes. “Or maybe, just maybe, the whole family…moved.” She widened her eyes, faking fear. Ever cringed as Nick drank the last of what was in the jar. The smell of the peaches made her want to take the whole container from Nick’s hands and throw it out the window. She smirked as she pictured his reaction. “Be serious, Nick.” she said with a laugh, then added, “You really expect us to believe that you think this place is haunted?

She smiled. "Nice to meet you." Then turning to Ever, Mimeco commented. "It's better then nothing." She looked over at Nick as he ate the peachs. She went back into the kitchen and grabbed a jar of furit and decided she would wait until later to eat. She looked around and realized they have nothing to drink. She walked over to the sink and tried turning it on. A ratting sound came from the pipes quite loudly. The sound scared the living hell out of her, making her jump back. "Dang..." She saw the pipes spit out muddy water. "It must have it's own well." She cut it off and shook her head. She left the kitchen and heard what Nick said. "Haunted?" She gave him a odd look. "That would make this old house interesting." She looked at Ever and then started to walk around looking at the floors trying to find something that was off. "Ever is there basement?" She asked sense Ever had explored the building.

Chris just watched as they ate the peaches. When was his last meal? About a day ago, before he was kicked out. He shook his head, sighing. "Guys. If this is the last bit of food, why are we eating it now? We need to make it last for hoever long we're trapped in here. I don't want to die by starvation." He said, with a scowl. He wondered why nobody had said anything about it. He glanced over at Mimeco, who tried to turn the pipes on. "Wait, I have something." He stated, dropping his backpack on the ground, opening a front pouch, and pulling out an odd looking straw with a clunky device in the middle. He pushed a switch up. "It filters the gunk out of water. Makes it taste oddly like sugar, though." He stated, standing. "If this place was haunted, that'd explain the slamming doors. Unless they are remote activated and some goon is watching us all, which in my opinion would be creepier."

"These peaches aren't the last... There's a pantry full of jars just like this," Nick muttered. "Jeez. Get off my case..." He shook his head. "Besides, we're not stranded. The only reason I haven't found another way out is 'cuz I'm getting paid to stay the night. My friends bet me $50 I couldn't make it, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna lose $50 over something easy like this." He smirked, shaking his head again.

Mimeco looked at Chris. "Thats good, but if this house is as old as it looks, it's pipes may be feed by a well under the house." She got on her knees and started to crawl across the floor. tapping on the wood. "If there is a well... it would be better to get it out there then out of the old pipes." She looked up and felt she need to explane herself. "I know this because my mothers home was the same way. That's how I know." She pulled her jeans up. "Never mind Ever." She found an spot in the floor that was cut into a square. She started to mess with it and then pulled it up. She frowned as she found no well, but a way under the house. She tied her hair up and looked under the house. "Does anyone have a flash light or a lighter?"

Chris took a good look at Nick. Wondering why an older guy like him would be 'dared' to stay in some abandoned house for the night for 50 bucks. Surely his friends were more creative than that. And, the type of person Nick seemed to be, didn't mesh well with him being 'dared' to do something. "You sure that's really why you're here?" he questioned Nick, narrowing his eyes suspiciously.
