Orian turned his attention to the creature the eladrin was locked in battle with. He leveled his staff at it, and let loose the power of his god.

"Moradin, please, guide this one!"

The rod of light blasted forth, as the blackblade fell back, unable to move again. The Eladrin, freed from her fight, spun quickly to blast at the goblin engaged with the Goliath.

While this goblin was perceptive, it noticed the half-orc attempting to get close, as a wild slash hit only air. Taking advantage of it, the Goliath took the opportunity, and (crit) ripped it's throat out, leaving the remaining threat dead.

Orian paused a second, waiting for anything else to come out of the wood work, and thanking Moradin for the aid.

When nothing else attacked, he moved over to the delver. "Prey tell, are you alright?"

Belial looked around himself to see if there weren't anyone else ready to go at him, goblin or otherwise. He figured he'd be safe enough for now though and decided to sheathe his sword.

The half-orc soon returned his attention towards the Goliath he had been drinking with before the interruption.
"I see you're still alive woman." He said her direction, making it sound like he was impressed.

"I didn't expect you to save the dwarves over there. That was rather kind of you, I doubt they'd do the same back," She replied, staring back down at him.

Belial raised his eyebrows, a tad bit surprised to hear her compliment him. He found it a bit awkward as well and tried to think of something to brush it off.
"No, I'm... I'm not really nice, I did it because I felt like killing the goblins. The dwarves just happened to profit from that, that's all." He said, scratching the back of his head. He wasn't really entirely sure himself why he did it.

"Aye, but ye tew look li'e crap. Blastin' spells all o'er deh place. Ye need tah focus on dah enemeh, nae meh arse," The Dwarf woman said, with a grin of derision on her face.

"Oh really?" The goliath said. "Kill stealing is pretty fun when done right."

"I tried to take the ones you two were struggling with too, but I was just too late." Belial responded as he crossed his arms and gave half a smile.

Orian raised a single eyebrow and smiled slightly.

"Do not blame me If Moradin wanted the green guy with the big sword to get the bulk of the heads that round.

Still, I'm at a loss as to what on earth those hobgoblins were here for."

"Ye must be new, or daft. Probableh both. Did yeh just come from deh mountain? Here in tawn, we're ahways undah attack," the rogue responded, putting her hands on her hips. "Moradin, pfft. You're dah closest thin' tah it we got in tawn."

The goliath gave a shrug, returning to the bartender expecting a drink. "It doesn't matter if you're late by a second or a minute, you shouldn't be cocky if you can't keep up."

Yes, actually, as it happens I'm from pretty deep inside the strong holds of the mountains, and I've been in town for less then three hours, actually, hold that thought."

He looks out the space created by the now off its hinges door, and speaks again.

"I stand corrected. I've been in town, for exactly three hours."

The comment about the lack of his god, however, did draw his attenton.

"What?! What possibly could you mean by that?! Moridan is a God! He's everywhere on this plain he wishes to be!!

"Oh, god of the forge, I know I'm going to regret this, but I'll ask.

What, exactly, do you mean, by keep an eye open? Please, dear lady, explain that statment."

The tone of his voice was loud, as it had been the whole way through the conversation, and he sounded almost as if he didn't want the answer as much as he did.

A small sack was tossed up and down, a sack which you recognize by it's size and shape as your personal wallet.

"Twentah gold is easilah enough tah buy off meh tab," she grins, tossing the bag back at you. "Moradin may be wit yeh, but ohnly when 'e want tah be."
