Getting the item from the spirit and that spirit's power is more of a boost. With Taurus he's a physically strong spirit who has an axe, I don't think it's the axe that makes him strong, it's just his choice of weapon. But to take the axe and his strength shows me nothing different than the armor re-equips. Besides couldn't a person just simply have an axe as their own choice of weapon without it being something special?

Now say you use Aquarius' water vase then you would be doing something of the same as a water elemental or maybe even a water dragonslayer.

And it would seem somewhat pointless to do so given that you could just as easily summon the spirit to do the same thing only with more skill and experience vs the person doing it themselves.

In the manga this is somewhat touched down upon. Some summoners use the spirits that they have made contracts with as shields in a way thinking them as non-living creatures.

Lucy instead loves them and fights along side her spirits when she is able.

Another thing is that well it's the spirit's way to fight for their master's sake. It's their pride and duty and they do not take it lightly even if it means battling against their own friend.

But then again is it much different than the people who uses the doll play magic?

It's a symbiotic sort of relationship. The spirits can't come to the human world without a summoner or that's summoner's power, in exchange for that they will assist their summoner in tasks that they can not do themselves.

I can't say yes or no since I'm not the captain.

But personally it's a pet peeve of mine when people translate something from a different anime/manga and incorporate it into another. Ugh thinking on it just made me relate the stellar spirits to Pokemon. 'Leo the Lion I choose you!' *Shudders* It takes away from what you can do on your own thinking outside of the box.

I encourage you to be more creative on your own given it is celestial themed, for instance the constellation Monoceros is the unicorn. It could be a long spiraling designed lance or spear based on the unicorn's horn. There are 88 western constellations and many more the in Eastern constellations as well.

The only problem I see with this is that so far in the manga the only weapon from the stellar spirit world that Lucy has used was brought to her by Virgo so that she wouldn't exhaust herself, instead of from a key. And the only other one that was used with a key was when Angel had the Chisel. And that was an odd one given it seems like a living changing weapon but luckily it was one of the silver keys so more than likely it's rather common.

uhm..well..i was thinking that until you have more active members in the guild, maybe put off all the different guilds and leave maybe one or two? and maybe put everything in the starter thread into the main one cause that's where people look first....just a suggestion. Ignore if you want and delete if you will~

I know, but if you look at it, everyone who is active in the guild posted not even 24 hours after that announcement, I think I can speak for everyone when I say it was getting a little boring.
