Richard shrugged slightly. "I have a rough sense of control, though that migraine thing is a big downfall at times, like..." he said softly; he doubted he had to mention the single time so far he'd lost control, back at the restaurant.

elaise smiled at him " everyone loses control sometimes, i'm just glad you managed to regain control again. most of the time i have control over two of my powers, the other is harder for me to control." she said before looking around at jean and smiling.
it's nice to see you opening up and talking to someone.i'm sure he's glad he can talk to you. jean said to elaise telepathically, smiling at them both, she had just been sitting on the chair listening to the conversation.

"Empathy, I'd guess," Richard said quietly. His eyes narrowed very slightly as he snorted quietly. He wasn't certain, but in his opinion, that'd be a hard power to deal with and manage.

" yepp, that's right." elaise said smiling at him. " it can be a right pain sometimes. when that get's out of control my other powers do as well." anyway enough about me. how are you feeling now? i hope you don't have any migraines or anything, i know they can be a pain."

Richie touched his forehead with two fingers. "Just fine. The pain in the a** with the migraines is that when I think they aren't gonna happen, they jump up and bite ya in the a**, no pun intended," he said quietly.

elaise laughed " nice way of explaining it, i used to get migraines all the time when i first got my powers. well thought i was going mad caue the first one i got was telepathy." she said " as you can imagine, it was pretty annoying now i can have fun with it, if i control it enough." she grinned at him remembering some of the fun she'd had with her powers.
jean chuckled when she heard elaise talking about having fun with her powers " yeah i remember how annoyed logan got with you that time, when you kept moving his stuff around the room everytime he went to get anything." she said smiling at her.

"Logan? Brash guy with a widow's peak? I've seen him before, and I wouldn't want to see him in a bad mood," Richard said softly, glancing at Jean. "I tend to kinda stay away from people with kinda.... grim personalities, they're just a tad irritating on clear nights," he said softly.

elaise grinned " you described him pretty well, i try and keep away from him as much as possible when he's in one of his moods. he's always grim though, that's why it's fun playing tricks on his sometimes."

"Saw him about a month ago, riding a big black Harley about.... four or five blocks west of where that IHOP was," Richard said quietly. His gaze flicked from Jean to Elaise and back. "I don't mind if you tell your friend about this, but mind privacy," he said quietly, guessing.

jean blushed slightly " why thank you. i'l tell him." she said smiling at him.
elaise giggled she looked at richie and smiled " you know you really do remind me of someone, i'm just not sure who it is." she looked over at jean " where is everyone? i'm surprised professor x hasn't come to see him yet." " i don't know where the others are but xavier said that he was going to a conference somewhere. to be honest he was acting quite strange when i last saw him." jean said looking slightly worried.
((we well need more people to play the cannon roles especially professor x. lol))

((We certainly do, considering I was thinking of sending a profile for Logan only to see him 'reserved' by someone. They need to join in on this quickly...))
Richard shrugged slightly. "I wonder... could it be possible they may be somewhere, but can't get some kind of contact out to those here?" he said softly, thinking out loud without really realizing it. "I wonder if they've tried ionized energy displacement," he muttered thoughtfully.
