In spite of the demon's attacks being quite painful, I was glad to take the heat for a change. I wasn't exactly fond of the idea of leaving with a bunch of scrap metal instead of a functioning robot. In an attempt to keep his attention I continued to throw rocks and taunt him with names and insulting his...demonhood? Meanwhile Starscream kept up with his wave of lasers, though they were starting to get much less effective and his aim was getting pretty bad, even for a Decepticon.

Cele and Starscream- A pained howl tore from his throat as the attacks came ceaselessly. Every inch of him ached. Every inch of him hurt. Burned. And it infuriated him. Knowing it was likely to be his last attack, he gathered all the reserves he had and belted out a fast spell, flinging his power one last time at the human girl.
He did not sink to the floor, but stood and fought at the retaliation. He was going down, but he wasn't going to go down easily!
Demon Samhain's HP: 11/300*
Starscream's HP: 100/100 + BONUS HP 42 = 28/142
Cele's HP 99/200
Red Bar HP Attack Bonus: Samhain gets to roll 10-35 until winning or expiration.

The spell hit like a ton of bricks and, after being flung half way across the room, I muttered something about feeling that tomorrow and slowly rose to my feet. Starscream gave a dark chuckle as he slowly walked towards the demon, "Looks like that was your final effort, flesh creature. Time for you to crawl back into the pit you came from." He gave a well-aimed shot in the fox's direction. I almost felt bad for him, knowing full well that we had invaded his territory but at the same time I knew we wouldn't leave the maze alive if we didn't at least disable him somehow. Reluctantly I chucked one last rock at him.

Cele and Starscream- Despite crumpling to the floor, he uttered a few last words with his last heaving breaths of air, summoning the fiercest attack yet. The deadly missile of energy shot towards the target: Starscream. The Decepticon was wrong. If his body was in better shape, he could have hurtled attack after attack at him. His last thought before he slipped into unconsciousness was smug. Three beings. He'd taken down three in the space of a mere hour, and none of them had been weak.
A white light quickly enveloped all three, despite any screams, and a smaller orb encased the healing kit. If Cel blinked - being the only conscious one of the three, she'd note they were now back in the basement of the Shop...the beginning of the maze. Bandages wrapped around the worst injuries of each of them, but the small bottle of healing salve and bandages were laid out beside the Demon, who currently panted shallowly in his unconscious state.
"Congratulations. You have bested the Demon Samhain. As is his lot for being defeated in the Maze, he now will stay with you. I've done what I can in this short time for you, but please be sure to finish bandaging him. Farewell."
Demon Samhain's HP: 1/300
Starscream's HP: 100/100 + BONUS HP 42 = 1/142
Cele's HP 99/200
[ Please feel free to name him something else if you wish, Cel. Congrats on your newest charge. ]

I stared into the empty air, wondering who this disembodied voice was and turned to the unconscious foxes next to me. There wasn't much I could do for Starscream, he'd have to wait until we got home for any sort of repairs he might need. The demon, however, was a slightly easier fix. I grabbed the salve and bandages and began patching him up, grateful he was passed out.

Within the maze, the light had been dim. You could have only made out Samhain's general shape...but now, under the brighter light in the basement...you could see him fully. He didn't wake as you bandaged him; in fact, he would probably sleep most of the day to recover...which would leave you plenty of time to fix your fangirl obsession: Starscream.
Good luck. Demon Samhain is bound to have gotten plenty of enemies in the maze...not mentioning any he had before this event.
