Lyr tooked at the queen's also. Coming to the same conclusion. "Yeh It will be. I can't wait!! This is gonna be great! Oh, and if I start to annoy you, please tell me, I'll try to stop." Lyr said, a small hint of worry in her voice. I'm gonna make this work.
It will mine, I have a good feeling about this pair. Byraneth said just to her rider. She made a dragonic rumble that any dragonrider soon learns is a dragon laugh as she heard Sanrith's reply. Yes, that is very true. We wiegh much less in the air. I love being in the air and doing tricks, myself. But, I've been called a very large and off color green before also...so. Byraneth laughed again, thought this one seemed a little forced.
"Seems like out dragons are geeting along jsut as well as us." Lyr said to El.

El smiled and shook her head. "You aren't annoying me. I actually find it a relief to have found someone who will talk openly with me. Most people around here address me with such formality, and some seem a little intimidated by me. Only one person in the Weyr really talks to me openly in a cheerful manner, but I knew him even before I came to the Weyr."
El looked over at Sanrith. "Yes, I do believe that our dragons are getting along."
Sanrith snorted at Byraneth's comment. Don't listen to those that call you that. I promise you have more sense and dignity then any of those silly greens.

Lyr' smiled mischeviously at her new friend. "0.o!! Him" She said in that annoying sing-song voice that people use to taunt you about the opposite sex. She laughed then, amused at the look she hoped to get out of El.
Byraneth beemed inside. Sanrith had said she had sense and dignity, and she didn't even know her. She repeated that part of the conversation to Lyr, who smiled and nodded. Yes that are really great. El said a similar thing to me a little bit ago, as I was talking about Fort. These are nice people here, or at least she is. Byraneth nodded, agreeing. Thank you, that makes me fell good. That you would comment like that to me and yet you hardly have known me for more than an hour!

El just rolled her eyes and laughed. "He's like an older brother to me. I think that you might like him, if he ever gets around to getting here. He's probably asleep. Hopefully the Weyrleader shows up soon as well, you're going to have to meet him anyways."
Sanrith gave a draconic smile. It is no problem. I have a feeling that we are going to become good friends.

Lyr laughed with her. "Dang it! Oh well, thought I'd be able to get somthing to jab at you with. But thats cool, having someone who is like a brother if not having one. So, wahts his name, dragonrider, werybrat, drudge?? is he cu- Wait Weyrleader, oh Farneth. I hope he likes me?? Do you think I'm to immature?? I mean your more mature than me...what are you like 20?? Oh, the Weyrleader oh...."
Don't worry mine. So do I Sanrith. I'm glad I happened to drop LYr off above your rider!!

El smiled kindly. "Calm down. I am only 18 myself. I'm sure C'llen will like you, he's a pretty laid back guy. As for my friend, his name is Zane and he's a bronzerider."
Sanrith nodded. I am too, though they would have had to meet each other anyways.

"No way!! You so can't be 18!! Now I feel really immature. But if you say the Weyrleader is okay, I'll believe you. A Bronzrider?!? Wow, you've got friends in high places!! Bronzrider and you want me to meet him?! No way!! Bronzriders don't like me for me they only like me for Ran...I don't like them much, way to much pushing for rank on that side thank you very much!" Lyr said as she watched the green impress I wonder why her rider hasn't reacted?? Is she like mind-deaf??
True, but I doubt nothing breakes the ice like falling in the Hatching Sands!!

"Don't feel immature. I've always been told I'm TOO mature for my age. As for Zane, he's not like that. He's a really great guy. We grew up in the same hold together and it was luck that we both Impressed high ranking dragons."

A lithe blue dragon swooped into the cavern. His delicate wings unfurled to ease him into a smooth glide. He bugled triumphantly before abruptly barrel rolling and landing with calculated grace.
I have arrived, the eggs may now hatch, he proclaimed with a soft laugh.
"Is this your idea of a discreet entrance?" T'suki sighed as she dismounted.
Why of course. Why? Do you think anyone noticed we have arrived? Any good looking greens or greenriders perhaps admiring these fine specimens of dragon and rider? Jareth winked.
"Oi...I wish you wouldn't joke in such a serious tone," the bluerider said earning a laugh from the dragon.
Who's joking? Hello, and what's this I see? Her majesty herself, queen Byraneth is here! Well isn't this an unexpected surprise. He caught the gold's attention and gave a mock bow extending his left wing behind him like any noble courtesan. T'suki laughed at his ridiculous display and turned to find a seat. If Byraneth was here, Lyr was bound to be close.
Jareth swooped overhead to find a perch near the queen he so loved to tease. Ah milady always so proper. I see you've found a suitable companion far beyond the common riffraff, he proclaimed a bit cockily.

Jyourin stared caught halfway between fear and excitement as the first hatchling emerged. Dragons began to fill the cavern filling her with a sense of awe. Never had she expected to see A dragon up close, now she was completely surrounded by them. She shifted from one foot to another as the heat of the sands began to pass through the thin shoes she was wearing. Jyourin returned her attention to the clutch. She silently called out to a dragonett. The girl called out for someone to save her from her misery.

((Opaaru you must have missed the post where Sophia Impressed the green Jyourin so despertly seems to want. Anyway didn't you say you didn't want a green??))
Lyr looked at El, glad she didn't think she was too immature. "I don't know. Most bronze riders are after our dragons...no matter how nice they seem." Her thoughts turned to the past and a bronze rider named M'tut. How could I have been so stupid??
Byraneth layed her head down looking at the eggs on the sands. Hum, I wonder what haveing a clutch is like.
She was pulled out pf her daze as another dragon entered from above. This one gave Lyr and uneasy feeling of recongnition(sp?). She watched as the blue barrelrolled to a landing and his rider jumpped off. T'suki's here!! Maybe this wont be so bad!!
Byraneth raised her head as a new dragon entered. She knew his flight anywhere. It was Jareth, T'suki was his rider. Majesty?? Your thinking of another dragon. Remember? I'm the 'Queen who thinks she a Green'. What are you doing here?? How did your rider drag you away from your greens??
Lyr just shook her head as she heard Byraneth's reply. That coment had been said only the day before ahs they had been on the way to Xavren, she was still mad about that one. Jareth, her usualy defender, was mysteriously gone. Lyr now figured that they had been here. "T'suki!! Over here!!" She called, seeing the blur rider look for her. She raised her hand and waved.

El shook her head. "Not Zane. He acts the same way he always has, and the last thing on his mind is when Sanrith rises. His thoughts are usually about what practical joke he's going to play next on me. I don't think C'llen thinks about me like that, but most of the time I don't know what he's thinking."
El looked over to where Lyr was waving. "Someone you know from your other Weyr?"

T'suki smiled and returned the wave. She hurried up to join the goldrider and arrived a bit breathlessly.
"Great Faranth, Lyr! What in the world are you doing here?!" she said as she hugged her. "I was sure you were staying in Fort."
Jareth grinned lopsidedly as he heard her comment.

I guess that's why I always liked you best. I like your mind Byraneth, dear. The other queens are so high in their cloud they forget they have to breathe, he told her in a sweet tone. Ah yes, my greens, I shall miss them. But I'm sure that now that you're here I wouldn't be lonely.
He swished his dark blue tail in a suggestive manner as his eyes sparkled playfully. Who's your golden friend?

Lyr didn't say anything more about Zane. She would keep her mind open for El's sake, but she had been betraye dby too many bronze riders. Brown riders weren't nearly so bad, as long as they didn't get cocky of they caught you. But I really shouldn't be saying anything, becasue the only time Ran has ever risein has been in my dreams and nightmares.
She nodded at El. "She was one of my few friends at Fort. Her dragon, Jareth is helarious, thinks he's king of the world, or better yet, a bronze!" Lyr' snorted.
