((Actually, it was an auto-bio she had to write about herself. Kinda like a scrapbook. Really annoying report though. Hope her teacher isn't so stuck up like she is with the past reports. Lily got like a 95 for using marker instead of colored pencils, even though she was never told to NOT use markers. So glad the teacher is retiring this year. Don't want my two younger siblings to get her.))
Star looked up at the guy she recognized as a verteran knight, Vincent. So, a task finally? She stood with a grin. "Alright, sounds good to me," she replied, nodding. She added, even though she knew the way to the gate, "Lead the way!"

Mitsuki continued walking down to the training area where Alexander and Sami were, checking back only once to make sure Kade followed. She motioned for Kade to follow as she neared the two, her expression dull and lifeless as always as she approached them. "Sorry to intrude. If I may have your attention," she spoke with the same cold but emotionless tone.

Kade nudged Mitsuki. "Lighten up!" he told her, grinning happily. He looked to the two recruits. "You've been called for a task with us! If you wouldn't mind stopping your training for a bit, me and Mitsuki will take you to the gate for a full explanation!" He grinned even more as he spoke, so very enthusiastic about it all.

Sami caught Alexander's last throw when two veteran knights walked up to them. She looked over at them. "This is a bit sudden," she said, snuffing out the flame. She looked over at Alexander and smiled. "Race ya," she said, already heading towards the stairs.
((man, that stinks. she got points taken off for using something the teach never made mention of not being able to use...))

(( An auto-bio? Man, that sounds hard to write. I don’t think I’d be able to write one about me. It’s a shame she lost point because the teacher didn’t like the use of a marker. It’s about the report, what’s written down and marker points out the important parts, right? )) While walking back to the gate, Vincent remained silent. He never trained a recruit before, as the Shendai Lord decided he wasn’t ready for it. But seeing recent events, there was little choice in the matter.
Arriving at the gate, Vincent saw they were the first.
“The others will arrive shortly.” He said, looking back down the hall from where they came.--- --- --- Turning around, Alexander listened to the two Knights. When they spoke of a task, Alexander smiled.
“Alright, finally some real action!” His fists were bolted of excitement. Ever since he got here, it was daily training and no tasks or missions or anything.
“It’s about time, right?” He looked over to Sami, who had challenged him for a race to the gate, “Hey! You got a head start!” Alexander smiled and ran after her.

((I couldn't write one for myself to save my life. I can't remember my life from age 11 and below. Lolz.
No, she wrote a report then had to make a poster board, and used marker for it.
Lily says she just refrained Kade from mentioning the power of youth. Lolz))
"Ahh, to be a recruit again!" Kade sighed, smiling widely at his memories as a recruit. "Come on, we can't leave them in the dust! Let's outrun them, or I can carry you there!"
His answer was met with a cold glare and a short and simple: "No." Mitsuki walked forward at normal pace, swiftly passing Kade.
Kade sighed, and shrugged. Then, he dashed far ahead of Mitsuki, and easily caught up to both Alexander and Sami. Then, he passed them as they approached the gate, and cheerfully skidded to a stop when he arrived. "I'm here!" he announced happily.

"Right," Star replied to Vincent. Before long, she saw Kade bound in, followed by Alexander and Sami not too far in the distance. Mitsuki walked at a normal pace in not too long after. Her arms were crossed, absolutely silent as though she was unamused by this enthusiasm.

Sami laughed at Alexander's comment about having a head start. She had reached the top of the stairs when Kade came running past. She skidded to a stop next to Kade. "Good thing we weren't racing for anything."

Kade grinned cheerfully, almost enjoying the fact he had outrun the recruits. Well, they were recruits so he shouldn't have expected too much. But, they sure did put up a good run.
Mitsuki crossed her arms. "Who wants to do the explaining?" Before anyone could reply she added, "I won't."

Catching up with Sami and Kade, who seemed to have won their little contest, Alexander saw Vincent and Star waiting for them.
“So, what’s this about?” Alexander asked after catching his breath.
Taking a moment to look at all recruits, Vincent began explaining the task at hand.
“As you all know the Great War and the defeat of the Empire has left Licia in chaos. Our task is to restore order.” His explanation was short and simple, but the task was far more difficult. Vincent would continue to explain the details.
“The Shendai Lord has given us,” With that he briefly looked at Kade and Mitsuki, “instructions on where to start and how to handle this task. Licia has grown fearful of Magic and associates it with evil. Thus, we cannot use any Magic in their presence or let them know we posses Magic.” Holding his hand out to Alexander to prevent him from asking another question, he continued, “Do not mention we are Shendai Knights. People believe the Order has fallen and the Shendai Lord wishes to keep this.” Nodding to Alexander who had a bunch of questions.
Alexander took a moment to think his questions and formed one question, “If I understand correctly, the six of us are to restore an entire continent of chaos, without using any Magic and our authority as Shendai Knights?”
Looking up at Kade and Mitsuki, then back to Alexander he nodded, “That is correct.” Looking at the other two recruits, he wondered if they had any questions so far. Next would be to tell the recruits which Knight would continue their training on the field.

Mitsuki looked amused with Alexander's way of putting it. "Nice way to sum it up there." If it wasn't for their training without the use of magic, this probably would have been an impossible task.
Stair remained silent, pondering. Then, she shook her head with a grin and a shrug, finding no questions to ask. "This doesn't even sound easier said than done."

Sami shuffled on her feet. We're leaving the mountain?
She didn't know if she wanted to go back to the land that killed her parents. But she trusted that the Shendai Lord knew what he was doing.
"I have just one. The six of us together would draw attention. But we're not going alone right?"

“No, we will travel to Cinora together. Once their we will split up and analyse the situation. Find out what’s troubling the people and the restoration process. We also need to find a King for Cinora, be it the rightful heir or someone the people look up to.” He still had problems with this last task. Finding an heir could prove difficult. First they had to be certain if the bloodline died or not. But he’d figure something out, hopefully.
“When we split up,” He continued, “Sami you will go with Kade. Alexander you’re with Mitsuki and Star you’re with me. If they ask questions on who you are, tell them we’re mercenaries or the like.” A land in chaos had drawn a lot of freelancer, mercenaries and adventurers who would lend their sword as guards or kill outlaws for a home in the Kingdom or other benefits.
“We’ll stay at the same inn. That way, we can discuss what we learned.” Taking a moment to see if he didn’t mentioned anything, Vincent believed that was all, “Any questions?”
Not to Vincent’s surprise, Alexander had another question.
“Are we send on this task as a test or something? And when we succeed we are Shendai Knights?” Seeing as they did little training, it would surprise him if this was true.
Vincent smiled, “No, this is not a test, as your training will continue. Your Shendai Knight will pick up were you left.” Looking at the others, to see if they had any questions, he thought to himself, But if this entire task if over and Licia is restore, you will be Shendai Knights.

Star now had a question. "When do we leave?" she asked. She wanted to know how long she'd have to get ready, if she had time. It wasn't like she had much to prepare anyway. There wasn't much she owned.
Though Mitsuki knew the answer, she didn't speak. She felt Vincent would answer. It seemed he understood their situation more than the other two knights anyway.

"Okay, I'm ready right now," Star decided, "But I can wait!"
Mitsuki was silent a little bit more. She, too, was ready, like always, but she could wait. She looked down to where Vincent was looking. She never liked boats, but she won't admit that out loud. Finally, Mitsuki spoke, "Any more questions?"

Sami shook her head. "No questions. Just let us go and get what we need." With that she turned and headed towards her room. Kade's my senior partner huh? Good She grabbed her weapons belt and put it on, stuffed an extra pair of clothing, a hairbrush, and a few other items into her pack she headed back to the gate and resided herself to wait.

Alexander turned and ran down the hall, “I’ll be right back.”
Arriving in his room, he looked around. He took his sword, which he had left behind as he was going to train his Magic and figured he didn’t need his sword for that. Then he took a bag and put some clean clothes in it. Last, he walked to a small desk, where an amulet laid on. The amulet was important to him. He left it on the desk as he didn’t want it to get broken during training. Putting on the amulet and taking the bag, he hurried back to the others.
“I’m ready!” He said when he arrived.
Vincent was leaning with his back against the gate when they arrived. When Alexander arrived, who was the last one, he got up.
“Good, then, we are ready to leave.” With that he walked down the mountain path and towards Cinora.
