Across this barren world...
Kira tilted her head to the side and watched uninterestedly. As she stood there more shadows gathered around her and reached up at her arms and legs.
'Werewolf on a full moon, we have the best timing in the world don't we?'
"It makes it more fun. The stronger the prey the more interesting" Her hands turned to long razor sharp claws which she ran across her arms. Blood spilled out of the cuts and dripping into the shadows. 'I wish you wouldn't do that' "Hehehe"
A mass of darkness separated itself from the rest and formed upward. It twisted around itself until it was the shape of a giant dog with pitch black fur and dark holes as eyes.
"Hehe, Doggy should be well behaved like my pet" She rested her hand on the shadow-creatures head. It leaned into her touch and licked her with a black tongue. "See? Doggy should be more like this."
Who walks with me?

The music slowly started to fade away, once again returning the landscape to it's normal, bleak environment. Bard split the flute back into two pieces, before stuffing them both back into his vest.
And it was with the absence of sound he noticed the irregularities. It started off simple at first, simple rapid changes in air current, followed by minute waves of pressure later. Shortly after, he could actually hear the steady thunk-thunk-thunk-thunk. His flying eyes glanced in the direction the minute disturbances were coming from, zooming in as they would to the ground were he flying. In this way, he was able to make out fairly well the helicopter approaching. Wait, a helicopter? Oh, damn.....
Bard bolted from his spot, jumping off of the rock. He landed softly, despite the height, by canceling out his momentum at the last second with a gust of air, sending up a cloud of dust. He glanced around, looking for a place to hide in the barren wastes. As the chopper nearly appeared overhead, he turned and ducked into a crevice in the face of the stone, distorting his image until it could no longer be seen. The sound by this point was deafening, as the helicopter flew overhead. Bard held his breath for a moment, wondering if he had been spotted. No one had jumped from the craft and... No, the helicopter wasn't coming back. He watched as it continued to cut through the air, coming back out only when he could no longer see it, which was defiantly out of range of any human eyes. He brushed the dirt and dust from his clothes. "Well, this can't be too good...." He mumbled. Satisfied that his appearance was fairly presentable, he started walking casually back through the wastes. ((Well, this isn't doing a good job of getting started, so I thought I might start something on sunday, when I get back. Just a friendly reminder as well. Go easy on the "holier-than-thou" stuff. While it's true most characters are stronger then the general population, running through a city blowing everything up, or even murdering a single person, will still get you killed in nearly all scenarios, k? Especially seeing as how the general population has guns. Guns hurt lol.))

The aura around Urufu would dim away, and there he stood besides the two girls, "hey ladies your looking the wrong way," he smirked, as the after image dissapeared, "there something that both of you dont understand, one who your dealing with, two you experience in combat to this level is rather low, three your to young to understand power, not even the Fire Dragon Sage could stand up to me and look at him now, dead like this waste land, and soon so well this city," he appeared back where he stood, so now then come at me ladies, gods sages soldier sailors my powers punishes all who oposes me," he spread his arms, and soon he was surrounded by a gravitational field, "oh by the way ladies im not in werewolf form rather im in Ookami form the ultimate form within the Wolf demons, that was sealed away due to its tremendous power.(see character profile,. whoa wait helicopters and guns? I thought it was a medevil like place XD ROLF good thing my character knows repulsion X,X)

Across this barren world...
Kira stared blackly at the wolf demon for a minute before sighing and leaning against her shadow-creature. "Well damn, we got a self-appointed god. How boring."
The sound of a helicopter reached her ears and she turned to look. 'The humans are coming'
"Well there goes my fun, I'm out. Oh and bye Doggy! I hope we see each other again!" Her claws shifted back and the shadows disappeared. Her shadow-creature shrunk and turned into a normal looking though rather scruffy black dog.
"Oh thanks, leave me to escape." She grumbled and slipped between two warehouses sprinting away from the scene. The edge of the city was mostly deserted and had many warehouses and abandoned buildings which was probably why the humans hadn't come earlier.
She could already see the flashing lights and hear the sirens. Humans, though pathetic, had very painful weapons and it was not a smart idea to be caught by them.
She slid into the shadows and appeared in her apartment She locked the door and pulled the curtains shut. The city would be crawling with hunters soon and she personally did not want to be found.
She looked over her messy room and picked a sniper rifle out from under the covers of her bed. ((I tried to find the name of one I liked but I couldn't so deal with it))
She mostly used the sniper rifle for the scope which, as much as she didn't like to admit it, let her see farther than she could ever hope to.
She set it up at the window and opened the curtain slightly. Her shadow-dog took that time to jump on her bed and curl up next to her. ((The bed is by the window))
"Hm, looks like we'll have to sit this out. I hope the humans do something to knock Mr. Wolf off his pedestal, he's way to confident."
'We didn't even get to have fun!'
'I know. But lets save epic battles of destruction for the wasteland where the humans can't track us'
'It too bad really, I was hoping to see what Doggy would do... Wait, can't you see with the sniper rifle?'
"Ah, forgot about that." She leaned over and looked into the scope. After shifting it around some she spotted the area she was before. "Ha! Now the entertainment begins"

"Here's your money." He doesn't care if she wants it or not, he kept his word.
Shu went to take a look at this foe who seems to haunt him, as he aproached the feeling of fear but also anger grew within him, and as soon as the evil guy was within his view, he took a good look at him, and suddenly flash back of his two villages haunted Shu at that moment, he rembered that it was that man who slaughtered his people, and the wolf demons that cared for him, as the flash backs passed, he would feel unconrolable anger.

Amid the twisted thorns....
After Ariel left, everything was drenched in a calming silence, and Serenae was content to relax in the shade of the dying trees. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling that something strange was going on in the city. There seemed to be a slight disturbance in the earth, and the skies were quieter than ever, save the low droning of a helicopter in the background. She gently carried Lillith into the cave, towards the room the two had chosen.
She was grateful that out of her stubbornness and suspicion of the others, she had chosen a room in the farthest reaches of the cave. Though it could be inconvenient, it meant that it was safe, and outsiders would be unlikely to venture this far into this cavern. Furthermore, she had placed wards around this room to let her know if anyone was trying to or had entered the room. It would prevent humans and low level elementals from entering, as well as any dangerous beasts, that in desperation, would try to eat a dragon hatchling.
After placing Lillith in her makeshift bed/crib, Serenae gently shook the child's shoulder until she sat up, bleary eyed from her mid-day nap.
"Lillith, I think theirs something going on in the city. Ariel and Lolicia still aren't back, and I have no idea where Bard is. There's a weak ward at the entrance that should let you know if someone's entering. If it's someone you don't know, hide. And if you really need to, use some of the magic I taught you."
The young child, stared into Serenae's eyes for a while before nodding, and repeating, "I'll hide if anyone comes."
Lillith knew these procedures like the back of her hand, but she would always humor her mother, and for that Serenae was grateful.
"Good girl," Serenae said smiling as she turned around. She bent by the case which stayed locked at all times, and took the key off from around her neck. The case was kept locked for obvious reasons. After all, you didn't want to let a four year old to get her hands on a rifle. ((Yes, Serenae has a rifle. You know a rifle toting, kimono wearing mom is badass))
After the gun was loaded and ready to be fired, Serenae set off, only allowing herself one glance back at her daughter before setting off.

"hmm maybe I over did it with my transformation, pfft overestimated them oh well no biggie," he walked to the city and with each step sparks of lighting would burst out, he created 5 small little orbs each above his finger tips and fired them to the ground suddenly, the earth within the city would open, and burst up, this city is doom but still the Ka'Kari," he would close his eyes and sence it, and as soon as he pin pointed its location he looked towards a boy with ridicoulous hair, "you boy Hand over the Ka'Kari." he would appear behind the boy and through a punch, strong enough to make him fly off but not kill him.

((Just to let you guys know, Aldo is the bad guy in this story, so he has the right to be powerful and such. If he can't and end up defeated, this story will be a dead in no time. And a reminder: Read everyone's character profiles)
It was so quick, he had no time to react to those moves. The punch contacted with the back of his head, sending him flying. He jumped to his feet. He was beginning to get dizzy. 'After the first blow your already an inch in defeat! You'll never be strong!' Getting a blow to the back of the head is bad start for him, if this keeps up he might... "Damn it..." He fell to his knees, already he lost to much blood. 'I am weak.' He smirks. He balances himself and stood up. Might as well make something out of this.
He summons a fireball to his right hand and released it to the demons direction. He took a step and ran behind the flying fireball. 'If he gets distracted to this spell I might get an opening.'

Urufu stared at the fire ball with a serious look on his face, "That move, the basic move for the fire dragons clan. Hmm...something about this...boy seem awfully familiar." When the fire ball was about to hit him, he made a strong gust of wind surround his hand like a small tornado, and swatted the fire ball.

Amid the twisted thorns....
It didn't take long for Serenae to traverse the barren path towards the city, which worried her. She saw neither Bard, nor Nightfall or Lolicia. Even stranger, she saw no signs of life near the city. No trucks were leaving, no planes were flying overhead, and no people were walking around in the wastes.
Definately suspicious, Serenae thought to herself.
By the time Serenae made it too the edge of the city, she felt the dangerous telltale prickling that told her another elemental was near. More than one. Even worse, it was accompanied by the smell of blood. However, the fact that it was an unfamiliar scent calmed Serenae's fears slightly. She pushed onward, looking for the source of the pricking, even though every fiber of her being told her to turn around and wait with her daughter for the danger to pass.
Who knew you'd become such a coward when you are a mom?, Serenae thought to herself grimly.
She found herself in an abandoned section of town, consisting mostly of warehouses or broken down factories. Standing in an area which kept them almost completely obscured, was Nightfall, as well as two others that Serenae didn't recognize. The smaller of the two unfamiliar elementals was bleeding profusely, and seemed dizzy. And the larger of the two was undoubtably much more powerful.
Serenae perched herself on top of a small warehouse, and cocked her gun loudly to get their attention, and pointed it at the large elemental.
"I don't know who you are, but you are both idiots. Don't use magic inside the city walls. They have humans everywhere that can sense it. Their going to be on their way soon... scratch that, they're on their way here now," said Serenae, tilting her head to listen to the far off siren.
"I suggest that if you want to survive," Serenae said, continuing, "you get the hell out of here. Now. Humans will gun you down without remorse or a second thought."

((Oi, I agree with Kiki and slipper. All characters need weaknesses, and even if you can be a super-powerful bad guy,
1. the main villains are supposedly the humans, if you hate humans, the enemy of my enemy is my friend applies at least to my character's personality.
2. If you are aloud to, as one person be this overpowerful being, we'll all keep trying to beat the s**t out of each other and over expanding our characters until we all get pissed at each others unfair powers and the guild will collapse again. ESPECIALLY if a couple people get angry, and stop posting.
3. There ARE guns and helicopters, and probably tanks as well, No one should be able to bend these things around their character. I guess that's a little hypocritical because Lolicia didn't manage to get trampled by cars, but the point is, they are right.
I appreciate you taking the villains role, but if you could please be a little clearer and tone down your godlikeness, it would be much oblidged by me and kiki and I think slipper.
Make yourself more powerful than us, but don't dodge every hit, and don't treat the humans like silly-putty. They can still bite you.
*Note that this is a polite request, and no offense is meant to anyone. I'm just the person who's usually summoned about these little things to be a b***h and yell at everyone. SO you have officially been bitched and yelled at. smile
P.S. I'll post later today, I need to get dressed.))

((I must say, I completely agree with Sky. Would I like to go in, knock everyone dead on their a** and leave? Hell yes. Do I do it? Hell no. It's not fair to others who are enjoying the rp, no matter how much fun it is at the time.))
Aerial gave the "Wolf-God" a glare before picking up her cape and running to the nearest shelter. Transforming back to a human, she put the cloak back on and slipped out of the small hut.
Ookami gave her something to ponder about. Like this man, she had once traded her wings for power like that. Not an Ookami, but similar.
Yawning, Aerial walked away from the scene. Grenades were the first thing on her mind.

((I'm proud we all agree. Why not have a bad guy in a different race. Humans are common, maybe after we b***h slap Aldo then we can move on to the humans. OR we can have the humans as a side conflict. Either or, its your peoples decision.))
There's his opening. He duck down to his stomach height, He drew his sword and attempted a slash to his stomach.
