Valen jumped back to avoid being overrun by the creature. This would not be as easy a fight as Valen had hoped. Valen then slashed from right to left, aiming for the creature's chest and then before hitting changed direction to an upper cut to try and take off it's other arm at underneath the shoulder.

Ikzer frowned as he just dropped the fragment glad to have the things beatable. The marble golem would be a bit more trouble. No sword could cut a stone to pieces easily. They could also ignore all his illusions he felt pretty useless. He looked aorund for soemthing that might help. They were in a dungeon.

Instead of planning to beat it though. Usually such things had a range maybe this golem was only bound to protect here and thus couldn't levae the castle. If they could parry it long enough to grab the vampire mistress and leave even if it did follow them all the way outside he was sure it was something a dragon could freeze in place or at least rip apart if it was only as strong as stone.

"Hey Valen can you keep it distracted long enough with mine and Tira's help while Atronies and Trell grab what they came for? Unless you have an idea how to beat it?"

Rae tapped her foot a little until she realized she was worried about them. It was ridiculous to be worried. She had just been traveling with them because it was safer with numbers and they needed her. Rolling her eyes at the tight feeling in her chest and the fluttering in her stomahc she hoped they were doing okay. "Ot shouldn't take this long with all of them should it?" She sighed to herself.

(I always like your ideas they are never boring . I think they are awesome.)

"I can certainly keep it distracted, but to what end?" Valen said as he parried the Whiteshadow's attack.

Tira bit on her lip as she thought of what to do, "ok, it is made of stone right? So we just get a bigger stone to smash it!"

Dar looked at Rae and nodded, it shouldn't be taking this long, something must have gone wrong.

With abnormal speed the Whiteshadow caught the arrow in midair and snapped it. Spinning it jabbed at Trell with the hilt of it's blade.

After seeing everyone else's attacks fail Valen said, "alright, we are going with Ikzer and Tira's idea. Everyone run! And get Rae and Dar." Valen worked on getting the Whiteshadow turned away from the door while everyone else retreated to the door.

"Lead it out as much as you can Rae can't change here if she needed to." Ikzer threw an illusion to run further ahead of him. It was hard but he made it appear before Rae before thye even got there.

Rae jumped when Ikzer just appeared in front of her. She realized it was an illusion when it flickered and wavered some like it was an effort to be there.

"Rae there is a stone golem chasing us be prepared. Its very strong. Maybe even stronger then you." The illusion smirked then winked out of existance.

Ikzer gave a sigh at the strain that had been while he was still inside running through corridors. But he had done it. He would test this theory further when he had a chance.

Rae gave an angry huff and ice sprinkled the ground where her breath had hit it. "A man made thing stronger then me?" She rolled her eyes but smirked at Dar,"I think thats our cue."

"No, I got it, just get Rae and Dar," Valen said to Atronies.

Valen could likely outrun this creature, but he was not so certain about Ikzer and Tira so he stayed behind to make sure that they could get out safely. Valen decided that instead of trying to engage this creature he would just parry and dodge till Rae and Dar could get here. If they couldn't break stone then likely no one could.

As the rest ran down the hallways a knight was helping his friend who had drank too much back to his room. They saw the Vampires, and then a pair of Elves all run by just ahead of them. Then they heard and saw the strange whiteshadow creature and another warrior come fighting down the hall. It took them a moment to realize what was going on in their stupor, but then the soberer knight started yelling for the guard. "Intruders! Intruders! The Vampire is escaping!"

Tira kept pace with Ikzer as they ran for the wall they had scaled to get inside. They came around the corner and were making their final run. Up ahead they saw the parapet, but a pair of guards came out to block their path with swords at the ready.

Tira screamed and charged at them with her ring blade with no care. Her crazy actions startled them enough that they almost just got out of the way right there. They didn't however, but that didn't matter to Tira. At the last moment she thrust her ring blade into the cracks of the stone floor and like an acrobat she flipped over the blade and kicked both of the guards into the wall behind them. Both of them hit their heads against the stone and blacked out. Then she continued in her jump forward over and down the outer wall. But as she was an Elf, and a very nimble one at that, she landed on her feet and gave a bow to Dar and Rae.

Dar clapped.

"Thank you Dar, it was a wonderful performance wasn't it?" Then she looked to Rae, "hey, do you think you could get Dar up on the wall? I think Valen might need him to beat up that stone statue thing...."
