Be who you are, and say what you feel... "Didn't you hear me?" There was a slight snap to Mickey's tone, but she recovered as she continued, "She's addicted to him," the half demon explained, "And if we bring him here, it'll only get worse. Even if nobody recognizes him, the moment she's seen hanging all over him, he'll get kicked out. I think it's best, for now at least, to try and keep her mind off of him." ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... Hearing Nariko throw Mickey's own words back at her caused the half demon to flush out. Oh yeah. How could she possibly have forgotten about Rath? Now she felt even worse. ... Was she addicted to Claw? Simply put, yes. He was a drug she couldn't get enough of, no matter how much she tried to quit. Despite how much she was hurting herself, Rath, and everyone else... She was addicted. But Rath... He'd put up with so much crap from Mickey, and still loved her. How was that even possible? How could anybody love someone who cheated and played games all the time? ... She did. "Fine, whatever, you're right!" she blurted out, but not too loudly, "But this is different! She just got married and is being constantly watched. If he even got here and they met up, what could they do?" ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... "Simply put: if Larissa and Zazan met up here, it wouldn't be long before he got caught. Either she'd be worse off, or seeing him will give her some strength." Mickey paused, sighing. "I'm too worried about it being the first to hope for the second..." ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... Mickey gave a small chuckle. "If you can get her to drink, brilliant, but make sure she doesn't end up doing something she'll regret." The half demon was glad Nariko had changed the subject slightly. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... "Greek." Mickey's attanetion went to the dancing father and daughter. "That's her dad's first language. He speaks English, too, but they don't use it much when they talk to each other. I guess it's a daddy-daughter thing; I wouldn't know." Larissa's father was almost like a dad to Mickey... But nothing could substitute the real thing. No, Mickey had lost that when she was about... oh, three was it? She hardly remembered her father. As far back as she could remember, there was just her mom. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

(( Zaza's too young to get married XDD He's more clingly; like a son to his mother? ... but in a romantic way? *ebil laugh* ))
"Well, you're married." Fang muttered, watching Larissa spin around on the ballroom floor while his brother next to him munched away on one of those mini-hotdogs. He seemed to be stating a lot of the ugly, obvious truth today... It was like waking up with a bad taste of medicine in his mouth that wouldn't go away. Ew. Claw was married, and officially 'off the market' (though Fang doubted that he'd ever really be). Fang was out of high school, in the real world where he wasn't allowed to kiss his brother like he meant it. They'd be moving apart from each other.... Yup. Each dose and wakeup call and slap on the back of the head was worse than the one before it. "Ahnotht." came the reply, muffled up by food. Claw swallowed, but didn't feel the urge to repeat what he just said. His eyes were on everything but his new-wife; on her relatives, on his own relatives, on some of the family friends, and yes, even on Larissa's father. But the angel didn't seem to have interests on the one thing that he was supposed to... "So?" There swirved the wife and her father. Now, was the super-model-looking man Fang's father-in-law? Or was he just Claw's. Did the man actually expect to get any grandchildren? That was a laugh. Now that Claw didn't have food to block his way of speech, it was more easy to understand him "So what?" Really, what was the big deal on this whole marriage business? How long could it last? How long did his mother and father want to play the part? He'd go behind their back, like always, but in front of the crowd he'd act up like a good little husband to get the attention. Or maybe... maybe if he was bad they'd talk to him more?

"May I have this dance?" thick pride dripped over the upcoming man's words, almost as if he hadn't seen the event of Larissa trying to make her get-away. That had been humiliating, and nothing to his benifit(sp?); it had been cast aside, a little detail that wasn't meant to be read and was in between the lines. He held a long hand out to the man's daughter, waiting (not even questioning if) it should be taken. He was the father-in-law, and no was never an option when he wanted something. The man's lavender hair was cut short and slicked back, his eyes portrayed an over-confident glare to them. Minus the puffy wings (and hair style), it was obvious where the twins recived(sp?) their looks and body. He was dressed sharply, a suit like the rest of the males, but they way he carried it stiffly on his shoulders made it look like it still could have been hanging on the rack. The suit was new, no doubt, and the fresh crease lines in the shoulders only further proved that point. There was an impacient, unhesitant air around the man; he was sure of what he was doing, and knew what he wanted. Now, if only it would react properly and without delay... His hand waited out there, the tips of his fingers stiffly curled in as if starting to place themselves around an invisible hand in his... Now, if only that hand were to conviently(sp?) appear...

Be who you are, and say what you feel... A silent moment of eye contact passed between the father and daughter. He smiled, nodded, and released his child. "Don't worry. It's just a dance." Once her father had stepped away, Larissa turned--a slight awkwardness still about her--and placed her hand in her new father-in-law's. She attempted to mimic the position she'd been in with her father whilst dancing, but it seemed odd. Her father was a couple of inches shorter than the man, and dancing with him had been much more comfortable. With her dad, it had been just the two of them. With this man, though... Every pair of eyes in the room was watching, scrutinizing every move she made.
Again, Mickey's eyes were drawn to the dance floor. That man... She remembered first meeting him at Claw's and Fang's mansion. He had mistaken her for 'Lauren' (had he and his bimbo wife ever managed to learn their now daughter-in-law's actual name?) because she'd been the one all over Claw. Ramon Lillion... he scared her, to be completely honest. And now Larissa was dancing with him.
Larissa's father had wanted to dance with his wife, but she was far too busy socializing, networking... Still, he smiled and made his way over to Mickey and the kitsune he'd recently been introduced to. Nariko was her name, right? "Hey Mr. S," Mickey greeted the man with a grin. Man, if only Larissa's dad had been younger... And not the father of her best friend. "What's up?" "I came to ask my second daughter if she'd like to dance," spoke the man. His English was perfect, though there was a strong accent. "Nah, I'm alright for now," answered the half demon. She didn't really feel like dancing, especially if Nariko would be left alone. Mr. Stone didn't seem bothered at all by the decline of his request. He turned to Nariko and asked her, "How about you? Would you like to dance?"
((I'm kinda liking how Lar's parents' personalities are coming out xD)) ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Unlike Mickey and Larissa, who found the twins father to be a bit fearful, she just hated him like she hated every other Lillion--except Roland, of course. She used to not hate Fang, and she still sort of didn't, since in her mind he saved her life that one summer. Though other than that every Lillion to her was a rich b*****d or stupid b***h. Sweet, simple, and easy to remember. Her head turned when Larissa's father came over, however. She had thought Mickey might take up the dance since she and the man were close right? He even called her a second daughter. When he then asked Nariko, there was no way she was gonna let a chance to be less uncomfortable slip by. "Sure," she said smiling politely. She only knew, like, four or five people here, and though she didn't really know Larissa's father, it would be nice to dance with someone, anyone (except a Lillion) really. After all, she could never be uncomfortable whilst dancing. She gave a small curtsy like she always did.

Be who you are, and say what you feel... ((Which reminds me... It occured to me last night: where's Leigh when all this is going on? XD She'd probably end up being, like, a bridesmaid or something XDD
And for the millionth time, Roland has NO Lillion blood D< His dad is (was?) Leigh's dad's brother. Leigh's mom is Claw's and Fang's dad's sister. No. Lillion. Blood. He probably wouldn't even be invited to the wedding D: ))
"Have fun~" Mickey sung to the two as Larissa's dad led the fox-girl out onto the dancefloor. Gradually, more and more couples filled it up, but there was still a good number of people not dancing yet. Mickey was one of them. For the moment, she was perfectly fine where she was at. The music was kind of soothing, too. ... because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
