"And what do you know about the chemicals I used today?" Kakei inquired, though he gave his hand over to Saiga for examination anyway. "It feels a little... tingly... but I think that's just my imagination."

"Then what else do you want?" Kakei asked. He had to admit there was a very strong instantaneous attraction when he first met Saiga... and he was playing right into it. When he thought about it, that probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, but he couldn't help himself.

Saiga smiled. "I think you know the answer to your question, since you must have already seen our meeting beforehand Kakei." Saiga had to admit to himself. Kakei was a very interesting person, he would enjoy getting to know him... Better.

"Well then why don't you make yourself more comfor... table... Oh, I'm... so sorry. I just... suddenly feel so... dizzy," Kakei mumbled shakily, his head spinning. He raised his hands to his temples as though he could stop the non-existent spinning by holding his head still.

"I must have... underestimated the potential toll those chemicals could take on my system..." he stated. "Still... it shouldn't be anything... too... serious..." Kakei suddenly began to cough and he grasped at Saiga's shirt as he felt the pain of the air repeatedly cutting its way up his throat. "The again I could be wrong," he muttered in a brief pause between coughs.

Saiga reached forward and patted Kakei on the back. "You sure you're going to be alright?"

The room was spinning. Everything was mixing and melding together but then as soon as it did it fragmented again, only to fuse once more. It was making Kakei nauseous. He tried focusing on a steady object in an attempt to make his vision right again somehow. He chose to concentrate on Saiga’s hand but realized it wasn’t working when the hand went from having five fingers to having three to having seventeen. “This… isn’t… good…” he mumbled, half to himself. As the room and everything in it continued its pattern of fusion and fission, Kakei’s vision went all sorts of unusual colors. He fell backward onto the mattress, unable to keep himself up anymore, and as his eyes unstoppably drifted shut, he could have sworn he heard bells ringing.
