"no time like the present, I suppose" Sol said as he began to climb up the stairs 'Glad I'm use to this sort of thing' he thought, reaching the crown and quite literally being knocked down by a large, furry something or other that was now drooling on his chest " oh for the love of... get off me you lump" Sol said, shoving the creature off of him and patting it on the head " it's nice to see you too boy" he chuckled "it has been a long time"

Leo jumped off the shark and walked up the steps past Solust. He reaches he crownAnd knocked on the only entrance he could find. "Grampa sent me!" Leo said loudly. Here, finally, he expected to find some answers about what he was searching for. "Surely they must know where the frozen flame lies," Leo thought. He hoped.

(hehe, sorry about that sweatdrop . I've never wrote anything like this before, just pm me with any questions you have.)
As the two burst into the room, two small figures came up out of a trapdoor. Both of them were roughly the same height and neither looked to be more than three years old.
An young woman sat in the corner, hunched over a large desk covered in skematics, and writing at a maniac pace. Heavy glasses framed her face, and her white lab coat was stained with all manner of filth and oil.
The small children rushed ahead, barrelling into leo.
"Kitty! Kitty!" they screamed in delight grabbing at his tail.
The young woman looked up from her work to look at the two newcomers that had entered. She studied both of them with a cold professional look before asking the question,
"Who are you? And how do you know that phrase?"

Sol stood up and wiped the slime off of his chest "him? well I don't know him, but me I've been here before, it's good to see you again Granny" he said looking around the room "this place is a bit rustier than I remember but it still has the same feel"

He grunted, , looking down at the multitude of kids grabbing his tail and swarming around him. He then looked at the lady who sat before him and said "The old man took me here after a mutant attacked me. I came here for a place to shack up. I'm Leo, and i'm hunting the Frozen Flame. Would... would... you know anything about where to find it? I need it because i heard it can change me back to a human."

The small children gave a squeal of delight and ran over to the young lady at the desk. Who then turned her head to say,
"My, my inquisitive aren't you Mister Leo? And as for you young man," she said with a iron stare and tone to match "there is much to talk about with you. But this is subject for a later date. I suppose that sense the old man dropped you that leaves me obliged to take care of you until he returns."
Pressing a small button on the underside of the desk, a small robotic figure seemed to materialize out of the dust. A short series of button presses later, and it soon vanished without a trace.

"yes ma'am" Sol said, glancing around the room once more, before walking over to the window and staring out over the ocean.

"Well miss, if you don't mind me asking," Leo said, "When do we get dinner?" Leo held his stomach, as it emitted a gurgle. He looked as if he was in pain.

"Very soon now Mister Leo now be pateint, that robot should be back any minuet." she said in a snappy tone.
Not long thereafter, the door burst open to show the robot returning with many fish and shorn proceeding after it. His was panting heavily, but a smile still cracked over his old wrinkled face.
"Hello everybody!" he bellowed out in a great laughing voice "I see that you have become aquanted with my wife and grandchildren, my what a fine follownig you have leo!" he said looking at the kids who were getting ready to charge forward agian.
"Now i do belive that dinner is in order for us all, so let us get ready!" Shorn said putting the fish a table.

Ashamed as leo was, He lived with it as he ate fish after fish. "Tanks faw da meaw thir!" He said with a full mouth, while cutting into another fish.

"Now you said that you wished to know the location of the Frozen Flame, Mr Leo?" he said sobering rather rapidly.

Sol looked at leo and the others with a certain amount of disgust "ugh! how can you force yourself to eat that... creature" he said leaning against the wall next to the window "eating is disgusting, I am very glad that I don't have to shove gobs of flesh down my throat to keep myself alive anymore, it makes me sick just thinking about it, all those enzymes and little creepy crawlies that slime through your saliva melting and tearing at your food before you even swallow it" he continued with a shiver as he pulled a small device off his belt and pressed a button on it, suddenly it folded open revealing a short needle and several metallic plates which collected nearby light and focused it into a vial of water he had now attached to the device, the water quickly boiled away leaving a glowing goo which he then injected into his arm before returning the device to his belt "ah much better, now that is the way to keep yourself alive. simple, quick, effective, and I won't need to do it again for a week" Sol said as he slid down the wall and sat on the floor.

He turned and watch solust as he injected himself and looked sick. He was afraid of needles. He swallowed his mouthful, and said to shorn "Yes, I'm looking for the Frozen Flame. can you give me any tips? I need it not for fame, or glory, but because I think it can stop my mutation and bring my brother back to life. He pulled, seemingly from nowhere, a small jar. It said "Gin Montero 7/03/3250-6/12/3263" Which no doubt contained his ashes. "if these make contact with the frozen Flame, my brother just might be reborn." He said with a determined stiffness that caused most of the room to go silent.
