Clifford conciderred her answer before saying anything. "Madam we may indeed require your services but before we go anyt further I think it would be best to ask our leaders so that they can know who to reward properly. However...in a show of good faith..." Clifford dug into one of his trench coat pockets and pulled out a wallet. He opened it up and produced a 1000 euro bill (I am unsure if they have paper money or what it is called, I am that out of the loop and I appoligize and welcome any corrections you provide XD) before offering it to her. "Take this as a downpayment for your services."

Adrien could see no way out of the woman's plannings - whatever they were. Her grip, though gentle, was strong and forceful; he could not for the life of him stuggle out of that demonic grasp. Plus, that air he mused of earlier...there was something about her that made her seem somewhat familiar. She was no normal human being, that he was certain of. She was demonic, in a sense that was somehow natural, and very old. But she was poise, and very charming. How could he refuse?
He allowed the mistress to drag him where she chose, stumbling behind her like a three-legged mule, tripping over anything that deemed trippable objects. In his hand he carried the carved figurine, hoping beyond hope that it would give him strength and courage.
"My...parents," choked Adrien, keeping his eyes downcast. Even if the maiden before him was looking ahead, he didn't want to chance her seeing the tears glistening in his eyes. "I mustn't....they must be avenged...."

Ariai smiled at Faith. "We will be talking quite soon, I''''m sure, Ms. Anderson. Either one of us will contact you in a week''''s time to discuss whether or not your assistance will be required." She paused. "Excuse my rudeness. I haven''''t introduced myself." She dropped another curtsy. "My name is Ariai D''''Aubigne. Pleased to make Ms. Anderson''''s aquaintence." Ariai smiled brightly at the woman, then suddenly put a slim hand to her heart and trembled. "Ms. Anderson wouldn''t happen to be carrying silver with her, would she?" the vampiress asked faintly.

Cliford nodded and though he would like to work with this woman he wanted also to keep their origins a secret a bit longer as well. "My dear Ariai is allergic to most metals. The minerals in them make her reacted in a most uncomfortable way." He then looked at Ariai to make sure she understtood what he was doing and why. "My name is Clifford Gelar by the way. Its a pleasure to meet you Madam Anderson."

Ariai nodded in agreement. She knew what Clifford wanted, and she would easily comply. How could she not? "Yes...I'm afraid I have a tendency to become weak when in close range with metals...I'll just sit over to the side...excuse me." She trailed off and wandered back over to the cafe table, sitting down and shaking her head as if dizzy.

"I shouldn't have any silver... I don't wear jewellery," Faith responded as she hesitantly took the money. She had no idea what currency it was. She was just a small twon girl who only knew her North American currency. "What kinda money is this?" she asked rather rudely as she inspected it. She was quite intelligent but at times she could be just plain stupid. She blamed it on too many lost brain cells from partying in her younger years.
With a rather overly dramatic sigh, the young woman pulled a rusted old pocket watch from her pocket and checked the time. Cursing under her breath, she shoved it back in her pocket. Her bus had not come on time. It was either running late or it had been early. "Screw the bus," she muttered, "I'm better off walking."
After a few seconds of silence, she pulled the watch out again. 'Crap...' she thought before looking over at Ariai and then at Clifford. "I s'pose this watch could have some silver in it? I always thought it was just a piece of scrap metal with no value," she said, laughing rather nervously. She felt bad for setting off the woman's allergies even though there was no way she could have known them... unless, of course, she ahd been paying attention to the signs. But that was not Faith's style when she was talking business. She thought of nothing but business when she was in investigator mode.

"Ah well. At least we got her out of range soon enough." The gentleman said making sure that his gloves werre on securly. He had a higher resistance to that sort of thing. "That is Europian money...I have just come back from a trip out that way and its the only stuff I have at the moment. You can exchange it for American money at a bank. I propibly need to do that sometime as well. Now I wish you luck in getting home but I must make sure Dear Adriai is doing better. Good evneing." With that he gave her a slight bow and then turned to join Adriai at the table.

"As the situation stands, I believe it would be better to speak of of in another location. However, I can inform you that it regards the recent troubles that have have started to make themselves more apparent." Georg looked around as well and saw his old friends speaking to a human woman. "If you do not object, I believe it would be a wise course of action to try to regroup with my friends."

"Well, you have my number then!" she called after Clifford as he left to join Ariai. Shouldering her purse, Faith turned on her heel and headed down the street. The only lights were the very dim street lights. Not that she was paranoid but it made her a little uneasy to be walking alone on the rather deserted street. Most people in the area stayed inside when it got dark and let their cozy little lives wind down.
She knew the area wasn't a bad place to be. It was quite safe and during the day, children ran around and rode bikes as they went to school or to the store to buy cheap candy. The street she was currently walking led to a nice family-oriented middle class suburbia. Her home was just passed it, in an older and more run down neighbourhood.
As the night breeze touselled her boyish red hair, she shoved her hands in her pants' pockets and walked quicker. "It's starting to get chilly," she murmured to herself.

Liek pulled him as if not noticing the tripping. She slowed her walking a little when he spoke but shrugged. "You may find what you seek where I take you, but you may not as well. Though you will be with family." She said and tugged him towards the haven that she stayed. At least for now, she liked to move, though this one was her favorite. "Oh looky! Cliffy and Ari are here! Lovely!" She rushed towards the haven with a new vigor. It didn't matter if they knew her or not, she knew them. Though first names and what they looked like was usually it, the rest she didn't pay attention to. Though those were really only those who often came to the haven.
Once close enough she launched herself onto the back of Clifford, whether making it or not was a different matter. He could move or some sort, which she would tumble away unharmed with a pout before becoming active again. She had purposely left the boy by Ariai so that she would watch the youngling. She was old enough to tell that was what he was, she was sure. But her main mission was still to latch upon Clifford's back.

Clifford let out a small grunt when the vampiress attached herself to his back and looked over his shoulder to see who exactly had attached themselves to him. In the process he spyed a very shy and confussed youngling now near Adriai. "Well if it isn't the Madd Hatter...I haven't seen you in a while Leik. How have you been?" He had always tried his best to be civial towards this lady and her antics. It made no sense to get mad at her that was for sure.

Deimos' ice green eyes scanned the streets, looking for his next victim. He wouldn't kill this one, he told himself, for two deaths in one night would be bad for his privacy. Plus, it was just plain rude. Though he hated his sire, the old vampire had taught him to respect his prey, a bit. A soft breeze blew his dark hair into his tanned, heart-shape face. He was one of the few vampire who could actually hold a tan, if he went into a salon every two weeks or so. Which is exactly what he did. He was amazed that it had worked. Moving his hair out of the way, it was then that he saw her. Or at least, her in the sense that he thought that she was a he. He had to blame her short hair for that. His hunger was so strong for more blood that he couldn't even use his sense to discover that she was a she. But that didn't matter to Deimos. All that mattered was that he get fed. He walked up next to her and smiled. "Hello there," the vampire said in a charming way, "My name is Deimos. And I cannot help but wonder why such a beautiful creature such as yourself is walking around alone at night."

Faith stopped as she was approached by the man. While he spoke, she took a hesitant step backwards. "I'm fine all on my own," she stated gruffly. She hoped that if she spoke like she was tough then he would mistake her for a man like most people did. She did not want any trouble. SHe had already made a fool of herself once that night. Twice would only make her want to down a pint of ice cream when she got home.

"Oh dear, oh dear! The days so bright with delight, and shining with morning, no one wishes to come out to play during the day! Those that are dead yet not living, have such hard time to learn what is coming. So many wish to know who is doing this matter, yet the Madd Hatter, for once has no explanation to give to them and they make such a clatter! Sneaky they are, that they are better, to escape one such as I, the Madd Hatter." Liek spouted tragically as she moved around. Her speech was hard to follow and usually only those who knew her enough could follow.
She bounced to the youngling and took his hand tugging him closer to the elder vampire. "I found this one on my travels this good night. Just moments ago I saw him, which gave me quite a sight! I think he be scared, that or shy. He speaks very softly and I could of sworn he almost started to cry. He wishes to avenge, his parents I think, but from who I can only guess since he doesn't seem to want to speak. I thought their Excellencies might help him best, for senseless murder is such a pest." She finished with a spread of her arms in a dramatic grace.
((Okay, basically she's saying that she hasn't had much fun, the zombies are stupid, and many have come for her information but she doesn't know much on who's behind it either. In the second one, I think it's rather clear that she's describing Adrien... Umm, and her speech is kind of like a poem, usually in rhyme. You pause a bit at each punctuation. I'll see if sometime I can't record this and make a sound byte to have you understand better...))

"Yes Leik. I agree that the aombies need to be dealt with and I think we could get this young man some help from the king and queen." Clifford said as he smiled at the bouncing woman. "People only come to ask you things because they know you to have answers...too bad not many can understand them. Thank you Leik. Would you like something to drink?"
