((Oh you live in the same house? XD! Well that does make it easier doesn't it? Hahaha))
Yuki heard the door open from where she was in hiding. She heard two different steps. Is someone else with him? she thought to herself as she reached to her belt where her ever so handy gun was attached. She silently and slowly took it out of its resting place and placed it in her hand. Time for some explaining she said to herself as she quickly stepped out from where she was and pointed her gun to the GLA's leader, and the strange unknown... thing beside him.
"Late as usual Akumu." Yuki said to the man before her, in a steel cold tone.

Tomar sat in a cat like way and was indeed grooming himself. He was totally uninterested in whatever may be going on and it was probably for the best. He would most likely be clawing Akumu, killing him, or laughing at him. Most likely the first one because of the taxi incident, otherwise it would be a wicked laughter.

"My, my, what a warm welcome this is, Yuki." Akumu said as he slowly put up his hands. He spared a moment to look at Tomar sitting on the floor grooming himself, but the cat boy was completly ignoring both him and Yuki. I wonder what it'd be like to be that carefree. He thought to himself. "Now, Yuki you can put that gun down. You wouldn't really want to hurt someone as beatifull as I, now would you?" Akumu reasoned with the seemingly over dramatic detective and once again showing his narcasism.
((Asaki and I are sisters which makes things even more interesting when we do joint posting))

Yuki continued to hold the gun at Akumu.
"Hm, just as conceited as always." she said sounding annoyed. She acted like she didn't hear him ask her to put down her gun.
"So do you care to explain to me as to why you were late, once again. And who that is beside you" she said motioning to the cat boy.

Tomar crawled over to Yuki and rubbed against her leg with several purrs. Perhaps cat-boy wanna-be was an understatement and he should be cat wanna-be... or perhaps he was just clinically insane.

Yuki quickly glanced down at the this cat wanna be boy man thing. Thinking quickly she moved her hand to the back of her belt, and pulled out her second gun and aimed it at the thing.
"Would you stop?" she said threateningly.

Tomar jumped back and stood up. He hissed for a while and then turned to leave. "Threats... not worth my time," he DID think about the money, but even that wasn't worth being threatened at gun point. "Pay me however much you owe me... if you don't get killed by insane girl!"

((Awww...Dios I'm sorry to hear about that. Poor thing, I know what it's like to have live crash on you. If you ever need any comforting words I'm sure everyone here would be glade to oblige. ^^))
Akumu quickly grabbed the back of Tomar's shirt and dragged him away from the door. Things weren't turning out well, and he was going to blame Yuki. "Stay put Tomar. Yuki, put down the gun before you shoot someone." Shoot someone meaning shoot me. How could this world live without my gorgeous presence? Akumu thought to himself. "I would have explained my tardyness right off, since I have a legitamate excuse this time, but you have been pointing a gun at me since I walked into the room. Anyway, this," Akumu began as he pointed to Tomar, "is cat boy wannabe, Tomar. He's an employee of the GLA. I've brought him here to specifically meet with you. I've been thinking about having the two of you work together on stuff." Akumu explianed to Yuki. Yuki, you had better agree to this. If you do I can almost bet that you are the key to helping Tomar harness his absorbtion powers. Akumu silently argued to Yuki. "And, before you ask again, I was late because I was picking up Tomar and bringing him here. We had a little problem with a homless guy, and our taxi ride was.......slightly inadequate." Akumu tried explaining without making Tomar seem at fault. If things were made to look like Tomar had been the cause of the taxi problems, Yuki would probably refuse to agree to what he was going to propose. Getting Tomar to cooperate was going to be bad enough.

Staring at the two for a slight moment, sighed and put her guns back to where they belonged. Yuki then folded her arms across her chest.
"Well my gun wouldn't have been pointed if you had been here on time, but you have an excuse so whatever." she said staring straight into Akumu's eyes.
"And what do you mean you want me to work together with that boy. Are you up to something again? and in case you don't remember, I work alone." she said stubornly.

"If I have to work with that... insane woman I get paid extra!" Tomar exclaimed. He now remembered why he didn't like women. They were all insane, eccentric, evil... and usually squeelly. "So, extra or nada."

Akumu rolled his eyes, Aya, why do I hire these people? Of coruse I have an ulterior motive, I allways have an ulterior motive. Akumu sighed. "I have my reasons for having the two of you work together. One, Tomar needs to learn to controll his ability and you, Yuki, can help him with that. Two, a pretty woman such as yourself should never have to work alone, Yuki, not to mention the fact that if you have someone work with you might find something you've been looking for." Akumu smiled in a deceptivly sweet fashion. He didn't actually know if Yuki was looking for something or not, but usually if someone is a dectetive as their choice carrer, they are looking for someone or something. The same could be said for historians and treasure hunters. Akumu just hoped that Yuki played to this normality, then again Yuki wasn't really normal. "Tomar, how much is it you want me to pay you? Akumu said with a slight glare and twitch of his right eye.

Hmmmmm... ten dollars an hour right now... its not often that I can sucker money outta dear old Akumu... Alright then... He thought to himself before grinning and responding, "Lets make it a total of twenty-five... AN HOUR." It wasn't often that Tomar got to feel like he had the upper hand. So he concluded with a smirk and, "Remember, extra or nada."

Yuki glared at Tomar for a moment and then returned her gaze to Akumu. A few of his comments had made her feel quite uneasy for a moment. The first being, he called her a pretty woman. Not your everyday comment from GLA's leader. And second, the thing he mentioned about finding something she had been looking for. Had he been snooping on her or something. Not that she had made it a secret that she was getting information from his playful secretary. But still it bothered her that he might have knowledge about her looking for something, or better yet, someone. That damn Akumu, if he's been sneakily getting involved into my business... theres going to be hell to pay. Yuki thought angrily.
"And exactly how I'm supposed to help this... 'him' with anything? and why should I never have to work alone? If you didn't notice, its how I work best." she questioned him with piercing eyes.

Tomar saw Yuki's glare and turned to leave a second time, "No, that's it. No money is worth this, let her work alone, I don't care!" Tomar then left through the door mumbling to himself. "So that's it, huh? All he cares about is himself and the GLA, doesn't matter about people individually, oh no. Just so I can hone(sp?) my powers, eh? Well forget it..."
