man sounds like youve been really busy!
the winter snow is still a while away but im beginning to look for a secondary car now. at the moment its kinda a tie between getting a brand new focus or rabbit, or a old beater like a mercury ive been looking at as a winter beater. i really hope the engine in the mustang hangs on though at least for the next 2 years that way i can save a little extra money for a new car and buy when its more financially possible.
idunno how you manage to find the money for the bronco and to keep it running

Maelthra Reloaded Kay, someone offered me $800 for my cavalier, as it is, where it is. Well, he offered me $900 but I'm not going to part with my stereo. So for $800, the sucker is going to buy a car that needs $600 worth of work, and that I only paid $200 for. Plus $100 worth of parts and my labour. So. I'll have a new car sometime next week. Then I'll get my stereo in, and call it done. biggrin Shaweet. Thats definately awsome luck. Perhaps you can keep upgrading till you can afford something way cool.

Perhaps you can keep upgrading till you can afford something way cool. lol idunno if any of you guys have heard of like the gift giving game where like someone starts with like a wooden spoon and someone would trade them a disposable camera for it, and then someone would trade like a phone for the disposable camera and the guy just keeps upgrading, well i heard one guy did that and he ended up with a house from some guy eventually!

Well, it looks like the buyer of my car is going to get brand new tires when he buys it.
I put a can of Fix-a-Flat in the passenger-front tire because it was leaking, yadda yadda tirefixed. biggrin
So I'm out taking my sister to a friends place, which just so happens to be 30km out of town via the highway. So, at 11pm with a wide open highway, I was doing a tad more than the speed limit.
Tire didn't stay fixed. D: So now I have the donut on, and I'm going to talk to the tire guys tomorrow to see how much it'll cost to fix the sucker properly, or to get some new tires. Yay. rolleyes

Yay. rolleyes just go to a junkyard or something and pick up some tires that are like 50% tread left and throw em on, otherwise just go buy a set of canadian tire tires that are on special, they suck a** but i doubt if hes buying the car in the first place that hes looking for an amazing ride to begin with.

peh, got some good tires, considering that the clutch is hooped so I'm still ripping the guy off in my mind.
But anyway, gonna get the down payment tomorrow, so I'm hoping that it's close enough to $500 that I can buy the Z24.

Should be getting the Z24 sometime next week, btween sunday and thursday.
Parting out the RS, then It's going to scrap. Also going to scrap is the F150 in my back yard. Probably the 300 block is going to scrap too.
My bronco is still waiting on a Radiator, Rear axle seals, bearings, and brakes. I still hope I can fix it before winter, so I dont have to drive the cavvy in the snow.
Also; I'm looking at a 89 F150 with a FI 300 and a three inch lift (33" tires) for a new parts truck. For $500, I guess I could work it into my budget.

Feh, Tuesday at the soonest for the Z24. The owner is out of town for the long weekend, and the banks are being pricks.
There's going to be hell to pay if my uncle doesn't pony up some cash for my bikie. I want to fix my truck, or buy the F150. Chances are I'll buy the F150. mrgreen talk2hand 0
Put front brakes in the pony. LAME-a** JOB! sad
Feh, parts-F150 and CavRS are going to scrap real soon. Contact me if you want parts, and are in canada.

Got the Rad, Wheel cylinders, Shoes, bearings, seals, and spring kit for the Bronco today; $487.03 later...
I'll do the rad tomorrow, that'll be like a ten minute job (only water in the engine right now) and I'll start tearing apart the axle on Friday.
I think I obliterated the dead motor mount in the cavvie, engine clunks every time I let off the clutch. I'll prolly pull the one out of my RS this weekend.

ok, Axles are ready to go in, rad is in, and I have the driver-side brake assembly put back together. Mabye I'll throw it on the truck today, if I feel up to it.
First I need to find the bearing puller to remove part of the bearing out of the axle, sothat I can put the new bearings in.

Rear axle is fully put back together, Need to bend a brake line, bleed the ******** out of the lines, install both driveshafts and then transfer the insurance.
And the lower ball joint on my cavvy's driver side is ********. I want to get it off the road ASAP.

finally got everything fixed, put together and bled out.
So I made sure I could lock up all four brakes, and I could.
But I also managed to blow out my brake line to the rear splitter. I'm ******** choked because I was going to replace that with braided steel lines, but I can't afford it yet.

Got the line replaced, got the lines bled, and I'm gonna throw my car plates on tomorrow so I can drive it to the DMV to get the insurnace swapped over.
yeah, I finished it at 10:20 this evening after work. xd

Been working fine all weekend, had a spaz fit on the Oil Pressure sensor when it decided to start puking out my expensive Royal Purple 10w-30 synthetic.
And me, being an idiot, thought it was an oil pan gasket. needless to say, it was a very long night on friday.
Probably this weekend I'll try to tear apart the front brakes to check them out, as well as replace the front steering, because it's ALL ********. I'm just gonna use the tie rods and drag link from the '88 F150. It should be in better shape.
Also: who else thinks Danika Patrick is the hottest Race car driver ever?
