kwarren7 Adam and Amelia Adam looked over at Amelia, her eyes still fixed with the Caterpillar's, her pink lips lifting into a slight smile. He turned and smiled sweetly at Sophia, despite the army.
Amelia felt this surge of power along with the confidence of knowing her purpose, who she was. She kept her dark blue eyes locked with the Oracle, smiling as he complimented her, actually feeling worthy of such a compliment.

Caterpillar although happy the Queen no longer influenced them; was concerned that he was beginning to feel emotions that wern't usual for him. Being amongst others that wern't Lepidopterans for such a while must be why he decided. For a few more moments he stared at Amelia; but did not say anything until turning away. "So you think you're changed, do you?" But he asked this to himself; it was the same question he had asked Alice... for she had told him that she did not know who she was. This was beginning to become a less than strange concept for him now... well on a emotional level; his personality was unchanged. But his thoughts were interrupted when he heard the Queen speak.
Caterpillar turned around and glared at Sophia; no one was to call him a worm! "And you are not to address me as such! I am not a worm; there is a great difference between a worm and a caterpillar... I thought one such as yourself would of known that!" His eyes had changed colour to red and yellow again and he was quite ready to metamophosize and fly Amelia away from the forest... however he resisted this as he knew he needed to help everyone else too. "Now do address me correctically!" ((OOC: Okay. ^_^ Also if anyone is wondering the Caterpillar said that line in the book.))

(as the porthole was never offically "closed" - would it be all right with everyone for the Unicorn to make a *final* stand for her friends only to be knocked out??? This way I could pick up where I left off after my trip)

H O R S E S are L O V E ((Was gone for a week. Who wants to catch me up?)) Alright, the group just went through the portal that led them back to the looking glass forest. Sadly, the Queen was waiting there already about to follow them back into the Tugley Wood. So right now the Cards army has surrounded them all and she is trying to use her magical brain powers to manipulate and control them as the Rabbit revealed his intentions to be a traitor. Amelia is winning, and the Caterpillar is basically starting to fall for her because of how strong she's being(OMGnoway I think xD) Katty is being held by Mally as she backed away, the Queen was only interested in the Oracle and Twins.

Katty stared obliviously at the group and then up at Mally. She stayed quiet, not because she sensed the need for silence, but because her own confusion occupied her thoughts. Who was this woman?

Mallymkun Dormouse Mally sighed as the Twins and Oracle began to loose themselves to the Queen, it didn't help that Katty was there to be as confused as ever. In an attempt to calm both of their nerves she softly petted her silk hair down, almost grooming her to reassure that everything will be fine, "... It's the Queen of Hearts, Katty..." She managed to murmur.

"But who's hearts?" She questioned in a way that sounded like it was a riddle. "Did she steal 'em from people like she is right now?" Katty felt like the heaviest peach pit in the world was in her stomach. What would Amelia be like without a heart? She couldn't imagine it.

Mallymkun Dormouse Mally frowned, it wasn't completely untrue. But it wasn't hearts she would steal, rather the sanity of already insane creatures. The magic she possessed, it allowed her to capture the minds of the innocent. They soon after gave in, craving more in the same way of an addiction. Katty, herself included, were lucky to not be of interest to the Queen. She was not sure whether she could take being controlled by a tyrant like the Queen.
Mally stopped petting her for a moment as she thought. It made her feel so worthless to be waiting on the side lines as her recently aquired friends were being tormented. She had to do something, maybe a distraction. One long enough to allow them both to gain back their control? She lifted Katty closer to her lips to whisper for her opinion, soft enough for the Cards not to hear, " Yes, she's hurting Mia right now. We need to distract the evil Queen so she can get her heart back. Any ideas?"

"Oh, no!" Katty wailed as quietly as she could. Hurting Amelia? That was even worse than Amelia without a heart! She scratched a tuft of fur behind her ear thoughtfully, even stuck her tongue slightly out the side of her mouth. "I think... I could try something." She emphasized the I, hoping that Mally could stay in the shadows as a safe haven for retreat, should that need to occur.
Katty hopped out of Mally's arms and gently hit the ground. Slinking through the feet of the crowd like a salmon in a river, she reached the feet of the Queen without being noticed. She tugged at the hem of her dress with unsheathed claws. "Ah'scuse me?"

The Queen of Hearts
The Queen was still glaring at the Caterpillar when she felt someone tug on her dress. She looked down to see a small kitten, speaking to her. Her dark eyes took in the kitten, with her dark eyes still hard. She held her hand back for a moment as the Cards began to notice.
"You are addressing a queen, kitten. What do you want?'
She grinned at the rise she got in the Caterpillar. She laughed loudly.
"Last time I checked my friend, I am the one with the advantage here. I am the Queen, I am the One with the Army."

Caterpillar was aware of Katty; he wasn't entirely sure on what she was doing though. He however continued to address the Queen; this time with more confidence. "I am not your friend; and even if you have the advantage there is always a way... no matter what you say," He sighed as if bored with her. "Though really my dear you are such a bother; why not just leave us alone and go play with your cards?" ((OOC: @Kim: Sure but you should probably talk it over with Kwarren first on how to do it and such and such.))

"Yeah, I know." Katty replied with annoyance at Her saying "You are addressing a queen." She hadn't really thought over what she was going to say, so she decided to wing it. "But... I am a Queen as well." She announced and adjusted her stance regally. "Dese are my grounds, an my clearing. Derefore whatever's in it belongs to me. If you take these people, you is trups-passin', an stealing. Now run along, before I decide to claim you and your little walkin' go-fish game for my own as well." She mewed, and adjusted her floppy hat as if it were indeed a crown.

The Queen of Hearts
The Queen raised an eyebrow at the kitten. She wasn't distracted from her prey, by any means, it would take someone much more interesting than that, but the kitten was definitely interesting and not a bit afraid. She smiled slightly. Sophia valued courage, it made for a more interesting time when breaking.
"Well, your Majesty, I will have to trespass on your land a moment longer while I wait for my subjects to accompany back to where they belong."
She ignored the Caterpillar for a moment. Sophia didn't care for his attempt at distracting her. She wasn't going to leave so easily and she knew that they weren't going anywhere.
