he growled and finally sighed. He looked up when the little kit came in. At first when the youngling went to the camo kit Calix thought nothing of it. When he attacked the kit, Calix jumped to his feet. In one swift movement he put himself between the kit and the Youngling. not attack a kit!> Calix snarled.

He stared the adult in the eye. He stoped and thought for a moment and decide not to get the kit in trouble. He diden't show he was lying. He stood straight and true. Even though he knew it was a dead lie. He was putting his life on the line. The kit might of got in big trouble too. He deiced to take the blame. He like the kit. It was like him as a kit.

The youngling, who had done a very good job of humiliating himself, was now staring the Beta in the eye, and that pause...Almost definitely a lie.
It looked as if his Beta had things pretty well under control. Calix ought to have enough sense to recognize those signs of lying, after all. He had gotten to where he was because he had a brain in his skull.

Caliz narrowed his eyes at the youngling that dared challenge him. He snarled viciously, ready to attack the youngling if necessary.

He stared the beta back and followed his command. He walked with dignity toward the ampitheater. He walked on all four. Only twice did his leg give out. But he kept walking as he walked by the kit he gave it a smile and nod. And said quitely. He said to low for either to He here. He actually like the kit, but know...he had to watch his step.

Lieu had started to hear the commotion when he was walking back to the dorms. He turned around to find the youth who attacked him being scolded for lieing. Lieing? For what? He didn't know. But it was clear that the youth had defended him in some way and was grateful for that. After the youth had stepped past him and said those words, Lieu's eyes widened. he gave a small nod and ran up to the Beta.

He intered through a cave entrince and almost passed out in pain. Gasping He had to sit and bath his paw in his tongue. He smiled. He contiuned to lick before getting ready to go inside.

Calix snorted and made to leave and go back to the Alpha but he heard the kitling run over. He turned and looked down at him. he asked trying to sounds nice but...it didn't work so well.

Idiot. He could fly, so what was he trying to prove by walking to wherever he was going? If he killed himself that way, he deserved it, really. Lying about beating up a kit...How pathetic.
He stared down at the kit who had run up, wondering what the kit wanted. At least the kit was bothering Calix, and not him.

Lieu stared for a second. What did he want to say. he then said the first thing that came to mind He said, slightly scorning himslef for asking such a thing. But then again, Lieu did learn better from seeing than from hearing, but he would be totally shocked if either of the two even considered it for more than 5 seconds.

Calix asked with a confused frown. That was probably the most peculiar question he had ever heard. It was so odd that Calix couldn't even think wether to say no or laugh. After a moment he began to laugh.

And another weird one. Possibly stupid as well. Were he and Calix the only two intelligent Damphousse left in the entire species? He wished he could send the rest of the Damphousse off to go join the Koivou; they'd fit right in with those soft ones. He couldn't even remember the last time there had been a rank battle around here, just meaningless spars.

Lieu replied as he saw the look on the other nightrunners' faces. He had been stupid for asking that question. Was his brain turned off today or was it just that he was born that way? He shivered at the thought. He had not made a good impression and knew this was going to cost him dearly.

The kit seemed afraid. Good. At least he had a bit of sense. More than the youngling, although that wasn't saying much. That youngling had truly been the stupidest Damphousse he had ever seen.
Xerxes prompted the kit, wanting to know the why as much as his Beta did.
