The outside of the main enterance of the caves is a sharp rock face, and far below it the river rushes out of the mountain and heads down into the Black Forest. The rock is a reddish-gold, and there are many crevices and outcroppings to hide in or perch upon. Along the cliffs are scraggly black bushes with dark green leaves. They cling to the rocks, barely alive. Near the lower regions of the mountains, pine trees bgin to grow, and in the distance they fade into the Black Forest proper.
Outside, kits learn to adjust their eyes to the sunlight. Youths and Adults will go outside to hunt, bringing back deer and other small game.
Damphousse may go from here to other cave openings that litter the mountain area.

Xerxes flew outside, simply wanting to get away from the Queen, and the Princess, and that little annoying kit. And since all of them persisted in staying in the ampitheater, he had to go somewhere else, which lead him here. He really didn't like being outside, in the annoying bright light all that much, but he wanted to stretch his wings, and while flying inside the cramped tunnels was fun most of the time, what he wanted right now was space. Odd, for a Damphousse to want that, but that was what he wanted, and what he would get out here.

Finally tired of flying outside, and more than annoyed at the evil bright thing called the sun, Xerxes flew back inside the caves, to rest in his barracks.

A curious nose wrinkled at the difference in the air. It was wild, free, and cleaner out here. Faust continued to venture out upon the jutting stone, looking cautiously at the river below. He twitched his still weak wings, trying to ease the aches of young muscles.

Adurna led the two males to the enterence. She saw the other male. unless he spoke to her she was planning on ignoring him. She walked to the edge of the cliff and turned to look back at the others. She sat down and looked up. The sky was dark and the moon was out, that was the day for them. She smiled, but facing away fromt ehm now, they couldn't see.

The new kit Kiavari followed the princess and his fellow kits down the halls and to the entrance. He lurked in the shadows, trying to go unseen, as he stared into the blackness outside. He wanted to fly out, but knew how quickly he would tire, and knew he would probably fall.

Altair followed the others outside, creeping along as silently as he could, and observing them carefully, watching the way they moved for any hints of weaknesses or flaws. He wasn't going to end up being an Omega, he would be one of the four Alpha males, and he would do whatever it took to become one!
But he wouldn't let his ambitions be known just yet. To reveal them would irrevocably ruin his plan, and so he simply sat outside with the others, stretching his wings, and reveling in the power he felt in them.

He simply rose an eye to take in those approaching and tilted his head jsut enough to see those at the cave mouth while trying not to be obvious that he was watching everyone. He scoffed in scorn and ignored everyone. He appeared to be one of the youngest there, but that didn't mean he would be submissive.

Kiavari watched the others move carefully in the shadows. He was studying them, as he knew that one day he may have to fight them, and he had to learn their weaknesses now.
In the darkness, he saw a glint of light and furrowed his brow concentrating on it. Finially, he realized it was just a small piece of quarts that reflected the moon when he moved his head. Kiavari looked back to the others and silently drew closer.

The movement in his direction caught Altair's attention. Was this one about to challenge him, or one of the others, or was the other Damphousse moving towards the group just because he felt like it?
He watched Kiavari warily, ready to evade should he attack, and attack back. He would rather explore than fight right now, but there was no way he was going to turn down a challenge, though.

Blackheart opened his wings and started to fly around.
He should of practiced flying alot more than he has but he knew that he was getting better at it.

Chaos watched the kits go outside and look around. Right now that wasn't any concren to her. All she wanted was to have a mouse or something to eat. Better find that Alpha and tell him to get me a mouse now.

Altair didn't really think Blackheart was the type to start an attack, but he still kept an eye on that one, too, especially since he was flying around, making it more difficult to track him. He thought Blackheart just didn't have the heart to be a true Damphousse, which was good for him. The fewer fights he had to risk, the better. He had never tried his skill in battle, and he didn't want to take the chance that another might be better than him, not yet, anyway. Once he had practiced, once he knew that he was strong enough to take on another, then he would start his bid for power.

Blackheart stopped flying and landed a couple meters from Altair. He started to walk away from Altair but always keeping his eye on him.He didn't trust Altair at all and wished he hadn't of come along.He looked around for a second to see were Adurna was then went back to watching Altair.
