The JubJub Bird glared at Uni and squarked; spreading its wings to intimidate. Caterpillar looked at Amelia; it was probably best that they all try to leave via the portal... JubJub Birds were quite dangerous. "We must get out of here..." He said... not too happy about being near the creature; but everyone seemed to be arguing about whether to go in the portal or to stay and fight it. ((OOC: Nooo, we need Chesh!))

Katty saw Mally reach for her sword and refused to inhale. She crossed her paws and stuck her nose in the air snootily. Her cheeks were beginning to turn slightly gray with lack of oxygen.

Mallymkun Dormouse Mally stopped herself, Katty seemed to not stop her protest even after she was thrown off the bird. She sighed before slowly putting her sword away before changing into her mouse form to prevent her from doing any real damage. She sat on the ground in a pout, completely ignoring the others leaving through the portal.

Tiggette Mallymkun Dormouse Mally stopped herself, Katty seemed to not stop her protest even after she was thrown off the bird. She sighed before slowly putting her sword away before changing into her mouse form to prevent her from doing any real damage. She sat on the ground in a pout, completely ignoring the others leaving through the portal.The Unicorn turns again, quickly scooping up the Dormouse placing her just inches from her bright purple eyes. Please forgive - and remember - me, Mally!Then before giving her a chance to reply, Uni all but hurled her through the air towards the stubborn kitten. Not only would it get her little friend out of the way but also keep the other from passing out - or worse! Uni was not afraid of this bird. She had to help her friends even if now she was more uncertain than ever to what would be. At this point she almost wondered if this was to be her legacy? But repostions herself to get back into deffense mode.

Katty had the wind knocked out of her when Mally hurtled into her stomach, but when all the air was out, she took more air in. And then out again. And in. She patted Mally on the head, secretly enjoying not being the smallest for the time being. "You a on-rebel mouse, Mally.
Sticks an stones can break yo bones, and words from Apple sting you.
But hittin back is not okay unless you really have to." She recited in a matter-of-fact tone.

"If you are certain of this; then I cannot stop you," Caterpillar said to Uni; he needed to get Amelia and the Sword away from danger and Uni seemed defiant in her decision. "Come, Amelia.... we should all leave now," He motioned to the portal; the JubJub Bird seemed to be keeping its distance for the moment.

The Unicorn did not not how she was feeling...
on one hand she was helping her friends.
The same friends that HAD to escape or - what?
What was this bird and why would it attack them??
Look bird brain she says to the JubJub trying some sense of logic. You really don't want to be run through but someone has something over your head - what is it?
Maybe the kitten had a point - Uni had one as well; it'd be interesting to see which would "win" out at this point...
Maybe I could help??

Adam and Amelia Amelia grabbed her brother and pushed him towards the portal. She glanced around at everyone and then saw the JubJub bird. She gasped at the monstrous sight. Amelia then put her hands on the portal.
"Okay, We're ready. Let's go."
Adam frowned slightly to be kept out of the action but shrugged. He looked at the Oracle expectantly.
((OCC: yet again, sorry for the delay. Summer is super busy for me. Hopefully once school starts back and my brother and mother are gone I will have more time for this.))

"What questions are these? They hold no meaning to me; you are simply prey," The JubJub Bird replied to Uni, it found her quite curious indeed and was in fact so interested in her that it was paying no attention to the others around it.
Caterpillar decided that they must leave now; they had to leave Tulgey Wood, the place was far too dangerous to stay. "Everyone; through the portal," He demanded and stepped through it before the JubJub Bird's attention was brought back to them. ((OOC: That's okay. On another note I'm unsure where the portal should take them. If it takes them back to Looking-Glass forest they will be confronted by the Queen; what do you think Kwarren? Or indeed, anyone else?))

Or indeed, anyone else?)) says the Unicorn in a cross voice somewhere between nails on a chalkboard and a breaking of a string on an instrument. The word was similar to horse in her mind - it was an insult! Still the bird had chosen to speak to her and knew of questions. It was a wonderous thing to her as well. She had to keep her deffence up in the meantime until the porthole had sealed. Surely you do not want to kill another such as yourself? There is too little magic in this world as it is!(It seems to me that since the Unicorn drew it - the porthole would go to place therby safe for such creatures. A peaceful woods that will forever be Spring so long as a Unicorn had lived there. Meanwhile I've already suggested what was the be done with my char to tie up the ends before the 4th)

"You and I are quite different indeed, Unicorn," The JubJub Bird said; though it seemed a little calmer than it had been before.
Meanwhile Caterpillar found himself back in the Looking-Glass forest; and before someone he had not expected to of followed them... unfortantly he was not able to warn the others before they came through the portal. "Improbable..." ((OCC: Okay so the Queen is waiting for them; then Uni will have to go through the portal too.))

The Queen of Hearts
The Queen bit her lip as her eyes turned dark with desire. Her and her army had surrounded the portal ready to follow her toys, lo and behold they all appear right in front of her at the same time. She saw the Oracle, her Adam, and the little one all appear around the sundial at the same time. Sophia smiled at them, reveling in the sudden anger in Adam's eyes and the fear in Amelia's, the shock in the Oracle's was the icing on the cake.
"How fortunate that all of you are here at the same time! It makes things so much easier..."
As Sophia crooned this, she allowed her magic to ooze in the words. Any normal creature would immediately feel an overwhelming urge to please her. The Queen poked out her attractive bottom lip, playfully.
"Why, Adam, aren't you glad to see me?"
She saw him stiffen with rage, his blue eyes turning dark. He snarled at her. The Queen laughed gaily and turned to his twin. She wasn't worried about them escaping. She had more than a thousand Cards. Sophia narrowed her eyes, her long eyelashes falling over them seductively.
"Little Mia," The Queen said invitingly, seeing how the nickname seemed to startle all of them, making the petite woman tremble, her blue eyes sparkling while her blonde hair shone like a beacon. "Why did you keep me waiting? I only wanted to have you as my lady in waiting"
These words were all true of course, but The Queen of Hearts had many different requirements from her courtiers. Last of all she addressed the Oracle, his blue hair in his human form, contrasting perfectly with his green eyes. He still seemed in shock. Sophia merely smiled again and winked at him.
((No idea why, but I felt the need to give her an actual name. So her full name is Sophia Juliet, The Queen of Hearts.))

Adam and Amelia Amelia gasped in horror when she saw the Queen of Hearts standing in front of them as they exited the portal. She had a black and crimson dress on, it was obviously something Adam could have only made. Amelia had almost the same dress, only it was a pale green with yellow flowers, instead of ebony with blood red accents. She smiled at them, bringing Amelia back to the memory of her nightmare with Sophia in it. She clutched her bag instinctively, almost feeling the evil in the sword reach out for the Queen. Amelia fought mentally against the effects of Sophia's magics. She bit her lip hard, almost drawing blood to bring herself back to reality, she threw up a mental wall. Amelia looked frantically to Caterpillar, hoping somehow he had some kind of plan.
Adam gripped the hilt of his sword, breathing evenly in and out of his nose. It took every ounce of self-control not to rush at the she-devil in front of him. He wanted to shove his sword deep into Sophia, driving that smile that disgusted him yet still held some kind of evil control over him off of her face. He felt her word magic seeping into him as she spoke, tell his heart to start racing as though he was seeing a kind and amazing lover, not a cruel master he had escaped. Though mentally he knew her evil and what she had done to him, when a slight frown crossed Sophia's face, it took everything he had not to rush to her side on his knee. He put his other hand over the blade of his sword and let it cut deep into his palm. Adam suddenly could think clearer, and could feel his heartbeat slowing to normal. He answered her evenly.
"Not at all, my Juliet, I only wish you had given me a chance to be more presentable."
The Queen's eyes sparkled at Adam's obvious and blatant sarcasm in his voice as he addressed her with the title she demanded he call her, something in common from a book they had found that had fallen in from the other realm. He cursed himself internally. Adam had given her what she wanted yet again. He forced himself to give a stiff bow. She sauntered forward and Adam clenched his jaw as Sophia put her crimson gloved fingertips ever so slightly on his cheek, pushing her magic into him, making him burn with desire and at the same time disgust. He mentally reached out to his twin as a way of escape to find her brain blocked. Adam only hoped he would be enough distraction for the time being.
