Ah, cool. I know Jack s**t about Fuel injection, so I'll leave it up to you. biggrin
I'll be putting the engine back together tomorrow, getting all the pullys mounted and the rad in. After that it's just putting the intake, carb, and distributor in and buttoning everything down.

got two of the three broken bolts removed and re-threaded, and that leaves one final one that has a broken drill bit in it. I'll have ot go buy some high-quality bits to get it out, then it's just a matter of rebuilding everything.

Got most of the hardware to put everything together, got the heads re-threaded and installed power windows. biggrin I'll run the wiring sometime this week and finish scraping off the old gasket before I put the intake on.
So far my parts list is as follows:
- Edelbrock Preformer 650cfm carb - Edelbrock Torquer 289 intake - Dual Magnaflow 2" exaust - Remanufactured stock Distributor - Accel spark plug wires - Bosch Spark plugs - K&N filter - New oil and filter.
Thats what I've already got or will be putting in soon. After that I'm putting new tires on the front end, so I can acually use my 4wd. sweatdrop
- New tires ($480) - New U-joints ($40) - New rear shocks ($80)
So once I get my bike sold for $1000, I shouldn't have a problem affording the rest of the parts I need. Then I have to worry about insurance, which is about $700. >.<

Anyone know if a mechanical fuel pump can be attached to a newer 302 block?

Engine is almost finished. I'm going to get the pullys done tomorrow, The alternator pully is a b***h so that'll take me a little while. Intake is on, carb fits nicely, and everything is good for once.
So yeah. Just need to get the money and time to finish now. Only about $300 worth of parts to make it great.

go to local parts store...buy a can of engine de-greaser and do it BEFORE you get everything hooked up. this will do 2 things. 1....make is look alot better. 2... let you know if its leaking anywhere..cause you have oil and such on there now so who knows whats old and whats new if it leaks. if i were you i would yank the valve covers, clean them off, paint them, and put new gaskets on.

Yeah, I'm going to clean it up before I get everything done. But I already fixed the one leak it had, so nothing should be a problem.

Power windows are getting wired tomorrow after I head to the wreckers for some part.
I have to splice into the Rear window power fuse to get power to the side windows, or else I'll be popping fuses like firecrackers. and of course, the wire is wrapped up and held under the dash from the fusebox to the rear window switch. mad

Yeah. most of the last parts ordered, going to pick them up today. Conversaation with Parts Guy Me: Yeah, I need a carb spacer. About a half inch one, if you've got it. Parts guy: Well, I don't have a half inch spacer here. But you know what? Me: What? Parts Guy: A Nitrous plate would fit perfect. A 150 shot system is on sale. biggrin Me: Don't tempt me like that.

Didn't plan on Running nos already. It's been a running joke since I asked him if there was a nos kit for my moms old Buick 430ci. xd
I needed the spacer to get the carb to clear something. Can't remember what right now, but I'll remember in about 20 minutes at school.
I just need to put the rad in, get a belt, get the last few hoses (That damned piece of F*#@ bypass hose. mad ) and then finally finish my power windows.
