"If there was an opportunity, I would like to act in a movie with Song Hyegyo."
Member of the popular group Super Junior, Donghae (21, Lee Donghae), chose Song Hyegyo as the actress that he would like to work with.
During the interview Donghae had with Hankook-I.com, he stated, "I really like comic melodramatic movies. If there was an opportunity I would like to be cast in a movie like 'Romantic Holiday' or 'Love Actually.' The actress I would like to act with is Song Hyegyo."
On the first movie that Donghae acted in with the rest of the Super Junior members, 'Attack on the Flower Boys,' he stated, "Shooting the movie was very fun. Perhaps it was because most of the scenes were with the rest of the members. Most of the time, Kibum isn't only performing with us, but he's also acting. I always said about that 'I couldn't do that.' But after this opportunity, I really feel like I really got a taste of acting."
After being open to this opportunity to act, this newcomer to acting spoke of his meeting with Kang Jaekyu director. "After taking acting courses at our company, I felt a very big pull towards this. There was one time the director Kang Jaekyu came to our class. It was a position where we were able to introduce ourselves so I went ahead and did something more gutsy first. 'Please view this as just a little kid being outright,' I shouted very loudly in which I was very proud of myself. Before, I only had dreams to be a real gasoo, but now I have greed to have dreams to become an actor as well. Truthfully, even if you know Super Junior, many people do not know 'Donghae.' Many middle school, high school students may know, but adults don't know. It started to make me think that perhaps through acting, people will start to know my name, too."
In this movie, Donghae's role was the number 2 dancer in the group. When asked if he had any special memories about high school, "In middle school, I worked hard in handball, soccer, and other sports that I didn't really ahve time to enjoy school life. Then around time for high school, I moved to Seoul to begin my life training for this. So I don't really have any big memories. If other kids choose school, I've chosen dancing and singing."
When asked what he thinks he might do after Super Junior broke up, "We're going to the very end, the 13 members will be together. Perhaps we'll get more members. Perhaps when we're 40, we might stop. Because by then the name 'Junior' might not be suiting anymore," he replied with unstoppable laughter.
Although he had the looks to get the SM Entertainment Youth Contest Best face, during this movie, Donghae had to give up the position of Best Face to Choi Siwon, Kim Heechul, and Kangin. When asked how he felt about that, "I've never thought on my own that I have the looks to have the best face. Our director gave us parts according to what she thought. I think that Siwon or Heechul hyung are much better looking than me. I am satisfied with my character."
Donghae responded to the good points of being a gasoo performing on stage, "Although everytime we perform a song on the stage, it's only about 3-4 minutes, every second, every moment, I can feel the energy of the fans. If one is a gasoo, they will understand this attractiveness to the stage. I espeically like the acrylic glass below the stage. One of these days, after the end of the performance, I want to try to break it."

When they stop, they should change the name to Super Senior and get back together. 'Cause they're friends forever. biggrin
