Alright. I have an intake already, so I'll PM you about the Distributor later. Right now I'm broke as hell and can't afford anything.

I have to get around to pulling out the three broken studs from the intake manifold. I have a drill and easyouts, but I don't want to do it because that stupid ******** has aluminum heads. >..<

Two bolts out, going to chase out the thread remains with a tap soon. hope it works.
And I think I might go with a Holley Truck Avenger carb (470cfm). They seem to be the best bet for offroad use.

Maybe you'll try to reinstall the four-wheel drive when the weather warms up.

I need new front tires for that. The ones I bought way back when I bought the truck are nearly 3/4" smaller than the new ones I bought when I insured it. sad That's why I can't put my front driveshaft back in.

Decided on final parts for truck today. Priced it all out too.
For $376can I'm going to get a 500cfm Edlebrock carb, and throw that on. I'll buy the stock Distributor for $100, and then go to a exaust shop to get the final parts made and hooked up. all in all it'll be about $500.

Alright;
Carb and disrubutor are here, just need to go pick them up. Carb is a 600cfm Edlebrock Preformer, because it was cheaper than the 500 on sale. The distributor is a stock replacement one, Neihoff or something.
I'm also going to pick up most of the assorted nuts and bolts, and get my spacer on tuesday. Can't wait. biggrin

500cfm would be starving it for fuel. 600 should be ok. if you ever cam it you will wanna go higher. i have a 1050 on the motor in my mustang right now till i can finish up the wiring for the fuel injection stuff.

Wow, a 1050 on a 302 (Even a stroked one) seems to be overkill. xd biggest carb I've ever seen on an engine was a pair of 650s on a bored and stroked 460. (About 600 cubes)
If I put a new cam in it, I'll be upgrading the whole top end at the same time. But my next plans are to get new tires for the front, stainless fuel lines and to patch up the floorboards.
Next plans for the engine are to get a 347ci stroker kit, and set it up with pistons for a Supercharger.
But first! Headers. xp
