Lee's downfall, even without the gates his moves are so overwhelming they cause damage to himself.

Motobu Choki Erich von Darkmoor The final conclusion you guys came across worked fine. Went away to play Wii a little, and came back to see this. On a side note, simply for speculation....how would the earth nin be able to maintain grip, release the hand wraps, and perform hand seals? I don't question his being able to at least mantain grip, all points considered.... It's in this post. Quote: However, Motobu was still holding onto him, so when Kizu went spinning, Motobu was now spinning, too. Holding onto tightly, their bodies spun in place as the mud is splashed everywhere. It was as if he was placed in a washer the way Kizu was turning. Damn, why did he always have to place himself into these situations. If this kept up, he surely was going to hurl in sickness, so places his hands together into a grasp around Kizu's back, loosening the bandages around his wrist. Letting them flail in the air as he undid them enough, he closes his eyes, his hands performing a few handseals until saying:
"Nesoku no Jutsu..."
The ground around his feet immediately hardens, growing as dense as rock itself. And that is when the spin comes to a direct stop, the air pushing outward from the built up speed of Kizu, Motobu standing there holding Kizu still. The jutsu had rooted Motobu's feet to the ground, giving him enough stability to stop the rotation as it was.
[13] His fingers and hands can still move with them so close to one another behind his back while he hugged him. That's how. Awww, Lee's the only one that can get away with giving Gaara a hug. ^^

Famfrit Hiyoko Lee's downfall, even without the gates his moves are so overwhelming they cause damage to himself. Isn't that why they came up with the double-edged sword example?
