Anima quickly looked up, hearing the nannys from her herd. She quickly stood, only to run towards her herd. Upon seeing the beast, she wanted to stop, but seeing as how the thing had one of the kids, she couldn't stop. She growled, letting her horns grow some as she sped up.

She quickly jumped, headbutting the arm. She used the creature's shoulder to jump higher and catch the little goat. She looked to the beast, giving out a loud bleat as she turned to run with the herd. Luckily for the herd, she held onto the the youngest kid, easily helping the herd to run as fast as they could.

She turned, only to see the breature easily following after. She gave out a scream, easily feeling her horns shrink from fear. She quickly jumped up to a rock, watching her herd jump along the rocks to get higher. She carefully put the kid down and jumped from the rock, watching the creature walking towards her.

Her breathing had deepened from her running, but now she had less wieght to carry. She easily turned to run and sprinted away. She turned to her goat form, picking up more speed from her upper body. She kept from turning back, easily hearing the creature, Hopefully they can live on without me...

Without paying attention, Anima tripped in a good sized rock, sending her body forward. She froze, her front left hoof hurting badly. Her ears slowly moved, hearing the creature slow down, walking towards her once more, "I... Don't wanna die..." Her form slowly shifted her her normal form as she rested on her side. She rested on her side, slowly turning her head upwards, only to see a fist being raised above her.

Tears started to well up in her eyes, "Why...?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eris turned from her spot in the window. She quickly flapped her small wings and flew over the crowd, only to fall infront of the group of angels. She quickly stood and wiped off her dress, making sure it was clean. She held her staff like a noble and took a step forward, ready to use a small spell on the demons. She watched as the one demon calmed down.
She gave a gentle huff from her spot, but quickly moved back and sat down, crossing her arms like a pouting baby. She gave out a low sigh, wanting something to do. She looked up once more, watching the crowd of demons, making sure they remained calm, Boring!
The shapeless arm of the creature that had been headbutted curled back in retaliation as the demon grabbed the kid that it had taken from the herd, a shriek bursting forth from the creature's lungs as the demon known as Anima landed on the ground. Once the demon had landed and had successfully gotten a head start in her escape, Elijah's creation had regained its composure and immediately continued the pursuit, its serpent-like jaws opening and closing in anticipation of the demonic flesh that it would soon devour.
As the creature neared the demon, Elijah watched from above, his bright eyes gazing down at the scene unfolding before him as his wings wrapped around his shapeless figure. From what he could see, Anima was going to pass (something which he could not believe), for no other demon had the heart or soul to succumb such an achievement; not even an angel had that ability. In truth, Elijah craved for Anima's salvation, for he was completely alone in the universe. No one else saw his way and because of that, he would always be confined in his own solitude, cursed by his knowledge of the true way of life which went completely against all belief of good and evil in this existance. However, if this particular creature was able to pass his test, then maybe there would be hope left for his happiness. Even though he was going to destroy and re-create everything which he saw to be perfect, he was still going to be alone. However, Anima could be there with him...
But, she still had to accept his way of life. Elijah had origionally believed (or hoped) that his brother Damien would join him. But after he had been rejected, Eljiah had lost all hope that he would have a companion during the resurrection of the new plane of existance he would create. For, if his own flesh and blood would not join him, who else would? However, this demon before him, who was formed through hatred and pain, was able to show such purity, such purity that even an angel could not achieve. But why was she able to? Was it because of her attachment to her goats? There was a good chance that it was that bond, for her compassion towards them and her choice to run instead of attacking head on was how she was passing. "Please...."
Below the hybrid, the chase continued. However, in moments, it seemed as though the chase would soon end, for the demon had tripped on a large rock, sending her head on into the ground, leaving her helpless for the creature to devour her flesh. With another shriek, the creature came down upon the demon, its snake-like eyes gazing down upon her figure. For a moment, the creature just stood there, allowing its drool to fall upon her fallen figure, allowing the lust for her flesh to overwhelm its senses; waiting was what made it hunger more. Then, with a cry, the creature rose its strange arm towards the sky, attempting to crush her figure with its strength.
And just when it seemed as though the demon's life would be ended, a blast of energy shot down from the sky, engulfing its image in a rage of fire. And with a cry, the creature's figure disintigrated in the power that the hybrid unleashed. In moments, where the creature had once stood, only a pile of ash remained as the dust from the impact rose into the sky. And just as this dust had settled, the hybrid descended upon that pile, its eyes staring down at the defenseless creature. "You have passed," boomed the god-like form, its arm lowering down for the demon to take. "We have much to talk about..."
Anima closed her eyes, waiting the blow, easily feeling the slimey drool fall upon her. She gave out low whimpers, tears streaming down to the ground. Her body shuddered, not really sure how she would die. She waited a few more second, but felt no punch or bite to her body. She slowly opened her left eye, not sure of what she would see.
Her eyes quickly widened, seeing the beast on fire. She stared to the flaming form, watching it slowly melt to ash. She blinked, casting off the last coupld tears from her eyes. She watched as the fire sowly died down, disapearing into the ash pile. She brought up her right hand, gently gripping onto her left wrist, easily feeling it broken.
The demoness shook slightly, but otherwise just laid there, staring at the ash, expecting something to happen. Which it did. She looked upwards, seeing the oddly formed male. She blinked, slowly bringing up her right hand, pulling herself up, "Thank you..." She kept her grip onto her left wrist, easily keeping it from moving.
She quickly lifted her head, hearing the bleat from the oldest buck in the herd. She looked to Elijah, not sure if he would like her run off to her buck. So, she just stood there, staring to the space below his eyes.
Altrael knew a lost cause when he saw one. The demon delegation was clearly resistant to any idea of working together, and if that's how they were in the negotiations, it would be completely, utterly stupid and delusional to believe that they would be any less arrogant, any less high-minded, any more respectful, any different than they were acting now. Too bad, really. Altrael had been reasonable, he had tried to see their point of view, he had done everything except subjugate his race. There was no helping some people, and because of that...
"I am sorry to hear that you are being so closed-minded, really, I am. Unfortunately, I cannot agree to your terms, nor could any one of the angels assembled here. Let me be the first to wish you all a safe and enjoyable journey to your respective homes. Perhaps we can conduct business at a later date. Until then, I wish you all good luck in conquering our mutual foe. Goodbye," he said, and the last word of his voice suggested a finality more terminal than Judgment Day.
The crackling of his eyes and fingernails reflected a kind of despair at the new situation. As he turned away and walked from the room, Altrael's lightning turned an extremely light yet mournful purple that only those who knew him intimately would be able to recognize. And then, just as quickly as it came, the tint in Altrael's power was lost, the crackling again a pure white. As he passed Lynneth, he stopped briefly, and lowered his normally thunderous voice to a mere rumble, a whisper that only she would be able to hear.
"What are we to do, o healer, my regeneratress? What happens now?"
With a sigh like wind through trees telling of the destruction after a storm, Altrael walked from the room.
The hybrid creature immediately noticed the look on the demoness' face as soon as the buck had bleated, realizing that she was now fighting a battle internally on whether she should stay or leave to attend to the animal. If Elijah had been able to smile, he would have, for the creature's compassion for the goat brought warmth to the hybrid's already stone cold soul, frozen by the hatred he had witnessed and been exposed to. After only a few moments, Elijah spoke, his words soft and gentle, despite the deep rumble that was what the tone of his voice was composed of. "I can see in your heart that you wish to attend to this creature, which now calls out to you. Go now, oh demon. For, even though I hold the key to the end of all existence, I have no power over compassion and love. Please, do what you wish and I will wait for you." And with those words, the creature took a step back, giving the one known as Anima room so that she could go and do as she wished.
And as he waited for her to go, the hybrid stared into her heart and soul, searching for the reason why she had passed or why he was drawn to her existence. Even though it felt amazing to not be alone (for he had been alone his entire life, even the very moment he had been conceived, so that he would be able to grow into the creature he was today), it was still strange and foreign to him. In truth, Elijah felt as though it was almost too good to be true, which it was. However, no matter how hard he looked, the hybrid could not find any false readings within her; she was the one he had been looking for. After everything that had been created since the beginning of time was gone, he and this demoness would be the only objects of matter in existence. They would be rulers of the new creation which they both would create together. And from that new universe, they would govern all life with love and respect and of course, with true leadership.
However, as the creature's thoughts continued to travel, something came to the creature's mind that almost made his heart skip a beat. What if she did not want to go with him? What if she was so attached to life now, that she would rather die than to spend all of eternity with him, losing everything that she had once loved? It was possible and that was what he had wanted to speak to her about. And he planned on doing so, for, even though he would rather not be alone, he would rather live in solitude than with a creature that was unhappy. "Please," whispered the hyrbid, as he watched Anima go to the goat. "Please, stay with me... for you are the closest I have ever been to happiness... you are the closest I have ever been to family..."
Anima watched Elijah move a little away from her, her blue eyes sparkled lightly. She smiled slightly and quickly walked over to the young buck. She stopped at one point and kneeled down, getting the younger one to run to her. She smiled more, gently rubbing her forehead to his, giving a small bleat to him.
She kept her hand wrapped about her left wrist, keeping it from swelling. The buck looked to her hand, giving a gentle lick to the wounded limb. She let go of her wrist for a second, letting him sniff to the skin. He gave out a small bleat, simply telling her that it was sprained. She smiled once more to him, gripping onto her wrist once more. She gave a small nuzzle to him once more before she leaned back, easily climbing to her feet.
The demoness slowly let go of her wrist and pulled up some of her sleeve, easily ripping the material to make a bandage. She held up the material, putting one end in her mouth, starting to wrap the bandaged about her wrist. She continued this movement until she was able to tie the ends together, keeping the wrist from swelling anymore. Of course her demonic bllod sped up the healing process, but swelling was another thing.
Anima gave out a small bleat to the young buck, telling him to tell the others that she was fine and she would have to meet up with them when she could. The buck gave a small nod, easily running off towards the rest of the herd. She watched as the goat ran back the way he came, but soon turned towards the hybrid, "Umm... Would it be okay if I ask you a few simple questions?"
The hybrid watched the demoness as she helped the injured creature in silence. Everything seemed to be moving slowly; it was as if time itself was trying to even stop the inevitable from occuring, for, the scerenio which was unfolding before them now, would mean the end of its existence... the end of time. The creature slowly closed its bright eyes for a moment, as he tried to search for the courage of what was about to occur. The answer to all of his questions was about to come forth and it was one that was going to decide his very future. And what if she refused? Would he be able to continue with his plan of destroyinv everything in existence? Would he be able to stand being alone for a few more centuries? He was going to have to... but it was going to be very painful; he hated being alone. But that was a small price to pay for the reincarnation of a plane of existence that had now gone sour. He could taste it now, burning his tongue, making it hard for him to swallow. It was as if living now was a poison, slowly killing him until there was no more. Yes, he was going to have to cure everything with an antidote to this toxin... and that antidote was destruction.
Slowly, the creature opened his eyes to have them gaze upon the demoness who now stood before him. And within those moments in which neither of them spoke, time itself stopped, just for a moment; its last final breath, its final struggle to try and stop the creature from getting its way. But like all things, like all life in this universe, time itself failed, loosing grip of everything, allowing the passage of this current to continue. Elijah smiled, as he looked upon Anima, his wings wrapping across his formless figure, feeling the change in the atmosphere. This was destiny. There was no doubt about it. Everything that was now occuring would soon decide the fate of all living things. And soon, as soon as time had loosened its grip and fallen back into its daily routine of its never ending journey, the demoness spoke a question, leaving the hybrid room only to answer. Which he did, with a simple nod, knowing most likely what she was going to ask. "Yes," boomed the creature's voice, waiting for such words badly, wishing for them to show themselves but at the time dreading their appearance. But of course, there was no way of stopping it. He had chosen this path he was going to have to deal with it...
Anima watched as he moved his wings, seeming to cover over his shapeless form. She slowly tilted her head, actually quite curious about why he was like that. She quickly brought her head back up, her brows raising some, "Umm... Back in the underworld I had heard stories of you... But none of them ever said your name... May I ask what it is?" She kept her head upwards and her hands infront of her.
She kept herself calm, but the way his form was shapeless gave her a few mental images. Such as if she hugged him, would she just disappear into space? She blinked, looking at his wings, slowly forcing herself to ask a question close to that, "Umm... Why is your body such? Like does your body have a solid form?" Being who she was, her goats always asked questions, either being very blunt or would just beat around the bush.
The demoness looked down slightly, another thought coming to mind. She had heard stories about how this creature had turned this planet into a wasteland, yet there was still life. She slowly looked up to him, "What... Made you change the face of this planet?" She kept her head lowered, but her eyes, for once, stayed to his.
The hybrid listened to the demoness' words, taking her questions as if they were gifts from the heavens. It was much better than having her run away from him in fear, like most creatures. Not only that, but she knew what his purpose was, for, as she said, she had heard about him in the underworld. And that meant that she was either okay with it, she was not afraid or she doubted them. Of course, the latter was most likely what she was feeling. But still, she decided to stay and was asking him questions, which meant that she was indeed curious. For a moment, the creature closed his eyes, continuing to listen to the words of Anima until she finally finished, which, in turn, would give him time to respond. Of course, some of the questions were going to be easier to answer than some of the others. And in truth, Elijah did not know the answer to some of them. But of course, he was going to answer them the best that he could, even if he was unsure about some of them; it was his duty to do so.
As soon as the demoness finished speaking, the creature opened up his eyes and looked upon Anima. And, with his eyes gazing upon the demon, that was all he could do for the few moments that passed after she had spoken. But, after those moments of silence had trailed off into the nothingness of the past, the creature spoke, his voice booming out across the land, while at the same time caressing the ears of those that heard it. It was almost as if there were two voices speaking: one was soft and gentle while the other was full of demanding presence, roaring out, as if he was yelling at the top of his lungs. However, instead of them being two different sounds, they were intertwined within eachother, fusing into one until it made a distinct sound that was different from anything else anyone would ever hear again. And if one tried to explain it, it would be impossible.
"My name," said the creature slowly, his hand slowly rising to fall upon his wings (since they were covering the area where there would normally have been a chest in normal creatures), "is Elijah. Of course, that is the name I was given that is pronouncable to both the tongues of the living and the dead. However, my true name is unable to be spoken, even by myself..." Not knowing what else to say on that subject, Elijah let his voice drift until no words were no longer uttered. During this time, the creature tried to gather his thoughts together so that he could continue. And when he had accomplished this, the hybrid did so, while a little hestitant at first. "And as for my form, I do not know. No doubt, it has something to do with the fact that I had a parent that was either a demon or an angel. Why it happened, I do not know. In truth, when I was first formed, I was, how can you say, nothing. However, over the centuries, more and more of my body has appeared. So maybe someday, I will be whole... However, I doubt that by that time, anyone else will be alive to see it... which then leads me to your next question..."
And that was when the creature let the silence stretch on for quite sometime. For the demon, it could have felt like years or even decades. And to the hybrid, it felt like an eternity. If she had asked such a question, that meant that she did not know about his purpose or his goal, which was to destroy everything in existence and start anew. And that could only mean that she had no idea what he was planning to do with her. Sighing, the creature turned away from her, unable to look upon her questioning eyes; they were like darts, piercing into his skin, tearing the blood from his image while his life slowly dripped from him. As the silence stretched on, Elijah looked up at the stars, the only thing in the universe that was beautiful to him. After he had destroyed everything and was forced to create a new universe, that was probably the only thing that he would keep the same: the stars that streched out across the heavens, shedding light upon the world of darkness; a healing light...
Finally, Elijah gathered enough courage to answer, which he did, but with his back still facing her. "The reason I changed the face of this planet is because of the hate that had engulfed it. See, when I was born, I was hidden away from both the demons and the angels... for my parents knew that both sides would try to kill me, since such a shared existence which my parents had was blasphemous. So, since the very beginning, all I have known is solitude and sadness. I knew nothing for centuries, living on my own, alone, in need of friendship and love, but unable to grasp it. And that was all I had, until finally, the angels and the demons found out about me and immediately came down to this planet to fight over who had the right to kill me. That hatred, that pure loathing was the first thing I was exposed to. And that is still the only thing I feel while I travel this universe. When the battle first started, I was afraid... I was overwhelmed with such feelings and, in my desperation, I destroyed everything..." The hybrid paused, taking in a deep breath while clenching his fist. "Oh, was it a beautiful feeling! Ridding the planet of such horrible thoughts and feelings was so refreshing!! The actions of hate was completely washed away!" As he said those words, the creature turned to face the demon, his eyes now brighter than the sun. "I want to continue this destruction! I want to rid all existance in this universe! Everything is wrong! I want to start a new universe where there is no good or evil... just peace... and that is where you come in..."
Elijah reached out his hand towards her, his eyes now full of sadness and fear. "I want to share that with you. You passed the test, meaning that you are pure of heart; you will not tarnish the new life I will create! I want you to come with me and re-shape this universe! I do not want to be alone! Please... I have been alone for too long!"
Anima watched him, looking over his form as the hybrid thought of an answer. She slowly brought her head up, letting her eyes lift up to his after he opened them back up. She lifted her head some, almost urginging him to talk. She gave a small nod, finally taking in his name. She slowly turned her attention to the ground, letting the name pass through her mind. She had hear many meanings to names, and she had heard about this one. She slowly brought her head up, muttering to herself, "Chariot of fire..."
The demoness slowly tilted her head to the side, seeing him turn around. She flowly furrowed her brow, confused. Her left eyebrow rose as she saw him lift his head towards the stars. She slowly lifted her head, looking up to the vast space. In the demon world, she was never allowed to look up to any stars that made it through the thick grey clouds. She gave a small sigh, staring to each star, having never noticed how calming they were.
Her attention was quickly taken back to Elijah, sensing him moving. She moved her head back some, surprised by the sudden brightness in his eyes. She slowly closed her left eye, and squinted at him with the other. She was about ready to bring her hand up to gaurd her eyes of the light when it began to die down. She completely opened her eyes, looking to the sad glow in his eyes.
Anima stayed in her spot, not really sure what to do, but she knew that not everything was wrong. She slowly furrowed her brow, taking a step forward, "Not everything is wrong. I was born into a family that loved bloodshed, and I was supposed to be among them, but I came out with fault. My eyes are blue, the rest of my family's eyes are yellow. My fault is being born..." She slowly lowered her head, taking a small moment to think, before lifting her head, "The only true evil in this world is most likely already gone. Humans, when they die, they would become demons or angels, and any hate they had came with them..."
She wasn't entirely sure if he understood, but she kept herself calm, picking her words carefully, "Animals, they are truely innocent... They simply fight to survive, especially in conditions they never even knew about. With the way this world is now, only certain breeds of animals can exist on this type of terrain..." She slowly turned, looking about over the nearly grassless terrain. She stopped and turned once more to Elijah, looking to his eyes, "Those that can stand heat still live and scavengers thrive. My herd of goats were bred to stand the heat. They take what they need of the earth, and they give back what the earth may need... Please, if you do destroy everything, please leave the animals be..."
The demoness slowly lowered her head, bringing her hand up and rubbing her left eye, quickly getting rid of a tear. She loved her herd and would do anything to keep them alive. She slowly lifted her head, a thought coming to mind, "In the morning... If you fly me about, I can prove to you what I mean..."
Just as Anima had feared, the creature did not understand what she had meant. In fact, when she mentioned that most of the evil was gone, the creature sadly shook his head. "No, that is unfortunately not true. I wish it were, but all I feel is hatred, even radiating forth from this dead planet. It is still quite strong even though everyone that had once hated is dead. Their evil ways were so deep that when their blood was shed, it sunk within this planet, soaking it with that evil. And so it will remain, just as the rest of the universe. And even if no other evil existed now, the evil from the past is still a stain upon this universe and no matter how much one may try, it will never come out. Believe me, I have tried... I have searched for a way, but there isn't one. Everything must be destroyed..." The more the hybrid spoke, the more angry he became. However, the demoness soon changed the subject, speaking of the animals. And during that time, Elijah listened, hoping to find truth within her words.
After she finished speaking, the creature lay silent for a few moments. Not just because of what she had said, but because of what she did not say. She did not answer his plea. Why had she failed to do so? Fear immediately grasped the creature's worn down heart, causing the beast to clutch that empty space, his eyes becoming dull with the pain. For a few minutes, the beast struggled like this for quite sometime before he was able to control himself. Even though she had not said anything, there was still a chance. Not only that, but she had asked if he could take her around so that she could show him about the purity of animals. If he was to accept the lives of animals to be saved would she then stay with him? Of course, the creatures themselves would have to be pure, but still... even if they weren't... would he be able to keep them anyways? She, in the new world, would be able to look after them to make sure that no evil deeds were ever done. No! He could not do such a thing; it was trickery.
But still, no matter how evil that deed itself was, the creature found himself brooding over that plan, allowing it to grow until it was too big to turn away from. In fact, thinking about it gave the hybrid comfort; it was the only thing that he had control over. Even though he had the ability to destroy the entire universe, he would still be alone, for he could never control the feelings of others. However, he would be able to manipulate them with that power... even though it was evil. And why shouldn't he? He was powerful enough... he should be allowed some slack because of his good deed.
And that was when the hybrid's pure heart first became corrupted. Weakening his power.
Slowly, Elijah brought his eyes back to the demoness, his eyes raging with a new different kind of light. "I accept your invitation," said the creature, his voice strangely different just within those few minutes of silence. "When the sun rises, I will meet you here.... and until then, you may brood over my offer." And with that, the hybrid spread his gigantic wings and disappeared into the night sky...
Anima watched Elijah's movements, not really sure what he was doing. She was about to take a step forward, but immediatly stopped, seeing him better. She stayed in her spot, not really sure how to react. She slowly brought her hands up, letting them clasp infront of her chest.
She slowly lowered her head, hearing the shift in his voice. She didn't like that. She quickly closed her eyes, feeling the wind from his wings. She slowly opened her left eye, no longer seeing Elijah infront of her. She quickly looked up to the sky, not even able to see his figure. She gave a small sigh, and turned, giving out a loud bleat to her herd.
The demoness slowly sat down, looking to her left hand. She gave a low sigh, soon hearing her herd running towards her. She looked to where the herd was coming from, seeing them come into view. She slowly smiled and turned, only to get tackled by a couple of the kids.
Not too long after, the herd had huddled up and drifted off to sleep from the night.
As the creature drifted through the sky, his thoughts began to wonder, watching the ground beneath him travel past him at blinding speed. What had happened to his mind when he had been speaking with the demoness? When the thought of losing her, of losing a companion in his bright new future became a sudden reality, he had lost all control of his thoughts and his actions; he was too afraid to go on by himself. But why was he so afraid of it? That was all he knew, for, from the very beginning, he had to nuture his growing powers by himself, for both of his parents had been slaughtered, leaving him without a mentor to guide him through his struggles. Without them there for him, he was forced to face all of existence; he had to face the sins of the two most powerful factors in creation: good and evil. And, after facing them, he knew of their power; they were overwhelming and tore apart at his soul. Even though he had physically pushed them back, forcing them into hiding, he had lost spiritually, for his mind was beginning to faulter; their ways were melting his values and spreading into his very soul. And soon, as time would pass, it would overwhelm him and then, he would lose the fight physically and be killed, right then and there, at either the hand of a demon or an angel. It did not really matter... they were all the same; they were both lost, fighting against eachother for only the sake of good and evil. It was pathetic. But in truth, he himself was pathetic, for he was letting their ways become one with himself.
Cursing, the hybrid stopped flying, his eyes beginning to waver as emotions began to fall upon him like a tidal wave. "Mother...father... I need your strength. I do not want to be alone anymore. The only way in which I can not be alone is if I just borrow the ways of these savages. As long as I use treachery and hope, I will no longer be alone. But, I promise you, that as soon as I get her, I will let go of it all and destroy this universe... and, like I promised, I would start anew. I swear! That is all I plan to do. I will not let it get the best of me!" However, as he continued to yell into the night, something strange occured. Slowly, the creature's eyes drifted down to his "body" and saw, much to his horror, that an image, even though transparent and therefore not yet solid, but an image nonetheless, of a physical body taking shape where nothingness used to be. Before, the transformation had been nothing, but now, it shed fear into the heart of the hybrid, causing him to cry out. He could feel the toxins of good and evil spreading within him, reaching out into his very soul, trying to grab it and meld it to conform to their ways... and it was winning. "I cannot do this alone..." Whispered Elijah after a few moments of silence had fallen. "I refuse..."
Whatever the creature did during the night, was even a mystery to Elijah. However, the hybrid no longer cared. Instead, he disregarded it completely as he lowered down to the ground, just as the sun began to rise over the desolate horizens of the planet Earth. And, for the first time, ever since the sun began to strech out its reach with its rays and destroy the darkness that had once been night, Elijah found it beautiful. For a moment, the creature turned to look at the sunrise and took a deep breath. Was he really going to destroy all of this? Yes... he had to; it was a small price to pay for having to destroy the mess that had been created in his absence. His parents had tried to end it themselves but were too overpowered by its overwhelming strength. But, they were able to transfer that power to him and now, he was going to use it against the bastards that had destroyed his only hope of happiness in such a corrupted universe. However, he was going to have to first become them to beat them... and that was a risk he was willing to take... anything for his parents. And that was what Elijah thought as he stepped before the demoness. Now, he was going to see if he was really alone...
