Changing obsessions
-OK, here it comes: I'm....not a Roy fangirl anymore. And FMA hasn't been on my mind for months. I still love it, but it's not my main thing. I've been over most of my anime obsessions for a while now. With my lack of internet resources, I had to make do with what I had, and what I had was- well, we'll get to that. So yeah, I still like anime and all, but it's not what's in the forefront of my mind.

- Past obsessions? Digimon, Pokemon, Miyazaki movies, Star Wars, Harry Potter- stop me now!
- Current:
- One thing I'm obsessed with is something that may surprise you because it's a book we had to read for school: Great Expectations. I didn't like it at first, but then I got into it. What did it for me was the scene where Pip says, "I love her, I love her, I love her!" to his pillow about Estella. I realized then how adorable he was, and then I fell completely in love with him. (I suspect my English teacher picked up on it.) The rest of the book is amazing, too. I highly recommend it if you don't mind Victorian era writing.
- I'm also obsessed with the musical Sweeney Todd, which is referenced in my siggy. It's a deliciously morbid black comedic operetta about injustice, revenge, love, insanity, inanimate objects, and pies. Meat pies, to be precise. The music is amazing. I prefer the original to the revival, but I love it all. So go listen, loser. (Unless the casual mention of murder and cannibalism will disturb you.)

I never could get into Eureka Seven and everytime I open an issue of Nintendo Power I wind up gettting ambushed by a giant picture of Derek....
And I really want to try Xenosaga. xD

I'm with HohoMOMO. I still love FMA, I'm just getting more into other things now... or rather, returning to a fandom I had been sort of out of for awhile. ^^" It just... will always tower over FMA in my eyes. But I still love FMA and don't plan on leaving the fandom any time soon. biggrin
