Why I joined: I knew I would love JROTC. I had been looking foreward to it since registration. I know a lot about the military and weapons. I knew I wanted to be on the Drill Team. I knew I was planning to join the Air Force (still am) and I knew JROTC would help with that.

Why I joined: My school has academy's it's split in to five, i never got to choose mine and they placed me in HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES which has a mandatory one quarter enrollment in ARMY J.R.O.T.C policy, i almost transfered out before i got there but on the first day to my suprise i ended up loveing it. My only regret being that i never worked a bit harder or joined a team in ROTC. But i love the program, plain and simple.

Why I joined: I joined because it seemed like a really fun thing to do! My dad was reading an Advertisement out of the paper, thinking I didn't want to do it, but I really did! and I told him that so we went to the meeting they had, and I fell in love with it and I told my dad right on the spot I wanted to do it and I saw a few guys there, I was like :O! The one that met us on the bus mostly, haha! But it seemed really fun! And It truly is because we not only have drill weekends, but this month we get to go on a camping trip and in May we get to go to Canada! I love it.

I originally joined because I didn't want to take Phys Ed. Soon as I joined I was yelled at, for long hair. But after about a month in I loved the corps. I went for Drill team my sophomore year, and got on, but didn't compete until my junior year. I am now Armed Exhibition Commander, second in command for Armed Regulation and Male Colorguard, and the OSS officer for the unit. This was too much typing lol
