"because.... i think i love her too... Shes not exactly a best friend to me but i can't help how i feel drawn to her. Shes very pretty... uh not that your not or anything.... um... anyway... i want to make her happy and smile. I like to be close to her i like to watch her i like to hear her voice...especially when she laughs. I heard it once...." He took a deep breath "i went for a trip with my guardian and we talked about love for a bit... and thats why i think i love both of them. Its different things... but both have things about them..." He grumbled lightly. He knew it was a big mess. "so.. i asked Daikenkai how he felt about me... you know to help me figure things out. I wanted to ask Val too... but i think i already know the answer. But it hurts to think about it..."

"What do you think her answer is going to be, if you don't mind me asking?" Bliss glanced over at him wondering various things. Her guardian was in love with two people, but those two didn't dislike each other as far as she could tell. It did seem like a mess of emotions. Which just re-enforced her own views of things regarding the heart.

He started to choak up but he refused himself from letting tears flow from his eyes. "shes going to say that she hates me... that i always make her sad..because its true..." His hand gripped into his arm and he squeezed.

Bliss couldn't help but laugh a little at that statement, then realized he wouldn't see how she saw it funny. "I'm sorry, it's just, knowing some of the things that have happened, I don't think you have the right of it. Seems to be if she really hated you she wouldn't have danced with you to begin with. Nor would she done so a second time. I also recall seeing you two kiss at the first dance. Then again I was paying more attention to other things so maybe I was just seeing things."

She was right but he still couldn't see her saying anything else but that she hated him "i don't know..." His frown seemed to grow heavy on his face. Releasing his arm he brought the rose petal to his nose and he sniffed it. It was still quite relaxing though it now had the scent of blood on it.

"I think she would likely ignore you if she really hated you, Toshiro." Bliss pointed out as they walked onwards though the dark. She contemplated things and simply shrugged. "I suppose you could ask her. What happened to cause Meridian to get beaten up?"

He wasn't quite sure himself why that had happened. He just remembered dancing with meridian and then Val started yelling. there was nothing wrong with dancing with someone else, he wasn't petting them. He just then remembered that he had left Meridian resting on the floor. He hoped that she was alright, she didn't do anything to deserve getting such a beating.

He wasn't quite sure why himself. He tried to recall the events that led up to it but it still didn't make sense. "i was dancing.. then Meridian and i bumped into each other... then we were dancing" He scratched at his head and began to slow down in his slithering. "Val fell down... then started yelling and went over to Meridian. I thought they were going to dance but then Val started beating up on Meridian..."
"And why would she do something like that?" Bliss asked, watching him carefully to work through the logic she was trying to lead him through, slowing her pace to match his slithering. Some things were just meant to be figured out alone. Removing the ribbon that was wrapped around her neck she took to tying up her hair to pull it out of her face. The night was over for such things, it was time to get back to the way she normally was. "Valentine can be moody, but she usually seems to require something to make her do something like that."
He thought back to the occasion where he had been yelled at for petting Meridian. He wasn't petting her this time, just dancing. Dancing was ok to do with friends. "Did Meridian do something to Val?" It may be that she just didn't like Meridian.
"Perhaps, or maybe she did something to you that Val didn't like." she pointed out lightly, not sure if there was any other way to go about pointing the obvious out to him. "You might want to give it some thought. People don't do things without reason, and usually its emotionally driven. Especially with my sister, you really ought to try to get to know her better." Bliss suggested with a gently shrug of her shoulder.

All Meridian had ever really done to him was pet his tail and dance with him. But why would that be bad? The only thing he thought Val would ever want to do to him was stab him maybe. Meridian wasn't doing that to him but she acted envoius anyway. Perhaps Val didn't hate him so much... maybe even liked him. He said nothing but his face showed what thoughts crossed his mind.

Bliss watched him a moment then went back to looking ahead at the darkness. There was not much else she could say to him so she figured to allow him to work things out on his own. Meanwhile she could think of other things. The next couple of days had the possibility of being very busy for her as she now had two she needed to work out, of course she still didn't know how she wanted to go about helping either one, as neither would appreciate it.

Toshiro yawned lightly and decided to pick up the pace a little. He looked ahead and saw they were getting closer to a large building ahead. The place seemed a bit creepy and he felt as if he needed to look over his shoulder as if someone was watching him.

"Don't worry, the ghosts don't mess with anyone unless they are a threat to the lodge." Bliss stated nonchalantly as they moved closer. Figuring he wouldn't want to hear the whole history of the place she continued to walk, matching his pace as best she could until they got to the door. Ordering it to open she smiled lightly when it did so. Glancing over to him she indicated for him to follow her in. "Come on in, I'll take you to where Valentine should be so you can give her the note."

The place was creepy and he would soon have to face Val. He began to sweat a bit as they entered. Following closely behind his eyes wandered, looking around the place.

The vast lobby spread before them as they entered into Phantasy. Tydryk was laying on the counter of the front desk sleeping with gently snores. Bliss smiled a bit to herself as she saw him, moving onward towards the back of the lobby. Thankfully both hers and Valentine's rooms were on the first floor and not up the staircase. It would take entirely too long to move that far.
To the back near the balcony an overly large birdhouse the perfect size for a Reliquiant sat overlooking the outside pool. To the side a bird of blue sat asleep, cooing softly at its post, sleeping despite the loud music that was being played. It was too loud for Bliss' taste, and certainly not her flavor of music. "I'm going to take this as a sign that she's still awake."
She pointed to the ladder that would take him to the door of the small house that belonged to Valentine. "You can take that and hope she hears you knocking if she locked the door. Will you need anything else?"

His jaw dropped as he stared over to where the music was coming "your sending me in there alone!?" His sweating became more noticable and the tip of his tail curled slightly. He bit his lip and continued on by himself not really expecting Bliss to go with him though he didn't want to go alone. He kept telling himself it was the right thing to do and the only way to make things better... So why was he so afraid?
