Your grammar has actually improved a bit since you first joined. And Hinata's has improved a lot. I still have nightmares about some of her earlier posts... *shudders*

*laughs at Casiela* She wasn't all that bad! Although I do agree she's improved a great deal.

I won't read a fanfic if there are grammar errors. Actually, I've been known to read the first sentence of the A/N and hit the back button. I'm not going to torment myself to read someone else's work. Typos I understand, especially in IMs, but in fanfics and on forums like this where you can edit your posts even after it's been posted...there's just no excuse. Mis-using words like to/too or leaving out commas and apostrophes is understandable, but only to a certain extent.

*Gives Hianta and Loki cookies* Everyone else seems to be doing it, so why not?

I'll suffer through bad grammar when I've had too much soda, and I've been known to forgive certain authors for a horrendous amount of typos and spelling errors, if I like them enough. I'll forgive Songwind almost anything, because she writes so well.

It's good to see you're still improving your grammar and punctuation, Hinata.

I'm in favour of proper English used in this guild. *does a really cheesy pose similar to Sailor Moon's monologuing pose* In the name of FFA, I shall punish all who dare to use chatspeak!

It's important. I'm horrible at spelling.... so when i'm just typing I try to re read and spell cheak....but i don't always do it!!!!! But, in my actual fanfics I use spell cheak and I get my friends to read and correct grammer!!!! sad spelling is just not my strong point!!! But, i do think grammer is very important!!!
PostPosted: Mon Mar 26, 2007 1:33 pm

Yeah I have the same problem with spelling, and i want to DIE now cause our word processer is down!! I don't know about my grammer, I try really hard and I have been trying to read books on it, but my school decided that it wasn't improtant enough to teach us!!

Yikes. Your school system needs to be destroyed and rebuilt from the ground up. @.<
To not teach grammar in public school is a travesty and a sin.
