Lucky. I really want to go to a con...sadly, some of you know my plight of not having any anime-interested friends.

But-something that really made me spaz in tears inside: I remember the first time I had posted in the Official FMA Manga thread, and posting a link to Travis Willingham's LJ so then we could email or comment to him about "Don't call me a wet match stick."

And rereading it, I saw that he went to a concert.

That was a few minutes away from where I lived.

And one of my friends who moved went there.

And I was like, " eek "

Certain thoughts are prayers. There are moments when, whatever the attitude of the body may be, the soul is on its knees.

I am absolutely DYING to go to a con.
I am trying to reason with my mummy.
"But mommy!! You've dragged us to Boston 3 times to see Red Sox games!! Please let me go to a con!! I wanna meet Viiiiiccccc~!!!"
It's almost working. She has admitted it would be fun. Now, if I could just find a con somewhere near New York that Vic is attending, I might be able to pull it off. I checked his website, and I can't tell if his list of cons he's attending is from last year or from this year.
I want to meet him so badly..
He sent me a 'Happy Birthday!!' email for my 16th birthday last year. 4laugh That pretty much cemented my desire to meet him.
And if that isn't bad enough, my friend (whom I don't see very often) was like, "Yeah, me and So-and-So went to this con last week."
And I was like, "OMGWTFBBQ DID YOU SEE VIC MIGNOGNA THERE?"
She's like, "Yeah, we met him, he's pretty cool."

Ohayocon!

Who did you meet?
Caitlin Glass, Chris Sabat, Mike McFarland, and some other cool people.

What did you do?
Ran around with my friends, danced, sang, bought stuff, went broke, attended panels, and got stuff signed.

Major highlights of a con.
Meeting Chris Sabat who is hilarious and attending a panel of his.

At the Panel:
Chris: It's hard to watch anime I've worked on because I'm alwasy thinking of what we could have done better. Like everytime I hear one of Caitlin's lines in Fullmetal I think 'we could have really worked on that some more.'
Caitlin: *walks in the room just as Chris is saying this* Hey!
Crowd: Ooooh...
Chris: *chuckles nervously* Hey, Caitlin. What are you doing here.
Caitlin: I'm just here early for my panel unlike someone who's always late.
Crowd: Ooooh... diss!

Chris had been 15 minutes late to the panel BTW.

We got to here and Armstrong and a Ayame impression and some DBZ stuff. Sabat even mixed lines and voices by saying "Goku, No!" in Armstrong's voice. blaugh We were laughing so hard! And I met the voice actor for Dante who has incredible vocal range. The dance was awesome! And I bought an Ed bag. And Caitlin sang Motherland and the live band rocked and the cosplayers were SO cool!

What cons would you like to go to/plan to go to in the future?
Ohayocon again, definitely. And any other con that I can get to.

What con(s) have you attended? Ohayocon '06 and Anime Punch '07
Who did you meet? The dude who plays Havoc and the dude who plays Armstrong and 10 other voice actors at Ohayocon *is shot 'cause she can't remember all their names*
What did you do? Hung out at the dealers' room and the art places mostly. *is an art whore even OFF of Gaia*

What cons would you like to go to/plan to go to in the future? A con where a Gaia stand is and a con where Aaron D. (voice actor of Al) is! And a con with 100 art dealers... ninja

Where is it located?

When was it announced Aaron was gonna be there? :/ I've only heard of Vic and maybe Caitlin.
