I'm actually going to go start posting stuff now. xp I wrote this for school for a Abstract/Concrete poem.

Rage

Rage is the thing with claws
That crawls on the floor.
Itching to hurt, to maul;
Protected with its fur.

Fur made of spiteful words,
Formed by malicious thinking.
From others it is poured,
Always from one to another pouring.

Rage creeps up and grabs
Unexpected and unwanted.
It slashes at the weak,
Leaving those affected forever haunted.

Something I wrote in Creative Writing when we were discussing Sound and Sense.

The Lion's Pride

It wasn't too long ago when I prowled my jungle,
Searching for something to amuse me.
The others that I allowed to be in my presence,
Did begin to bore and annoy me.
I wasn't looking for food, heavens no!
That type and amount of labor was fit for the females.
I'm far too important and busy,
To be doing something below me, like hunting.
It was not my folly that brought me here,
It was the fault of that damned bird that startled me!
He caused me to lose my perfect balance,
And fall into that wretched hole.
Now here I am, King of the Jungle,
As those feeble-minded simpletons humans would say,
Trapped and caged in a zoo,
Surrounded in every direction I look by
Annoying,
Boring,
Smelly,
Imbeciles.

Thank You ^^
I posted it in it's own thread a while ago. It's one of the archived threads.

Episode 3: Guy and The Demon Pesh

Pesh and I strolled into the saloon. Everyone stared at us as we walked in. It was a trendy bar trying to pass as sleazy. Everyone was dressed like cowboys, with large brimmed hats and leather boots, colorful bandanas and expensive shirts made to look old and worn. I felt like I was in trapped in a bad western movie, were eccentric movie stars ruled the world.

We were noticeably out of place. "Black is so last season." A young woman sitting at the bar pointed me out to her girlfriends whispering and laughing.

"Did you realize no one was looking at you when we came in, but everyone was looking at me. It's not everyday you see a girl with giant white wings and cat ears strolling around town."

"Maybe they think I'm making a fashion statement", Pesh looked at me and smiled. Only Pesh could get away with something like that.

"Why couldn't we go to a real bar?", I complained to Pesh. "At least the men there are just stupid and not obnoxious." I glared at the girl and she turned away pretending not to notice me anymore. "Why did dog boy want to meet us here anyway?" Pesh and I sat down at a table near the large front window. I never liked the window seats. In real bars, men usually get thrown through them. But this was a trendy place, I'm sure no one had been thrown through this one. Pesh shrugged her shoulders and frowned at me.

"Deema's not a dog, he's a fox." she replied as she turned to look out the window. Emerald City was beautiful this time of year. The landscape was all shades of green and the flowers were in bloom. Except this part of town the streets were made of dirt and sand, made to resemble a dessert town, but it looked more like a giant sandbox. The waitress, a large breasted woman wearing a long blue jacket unbuttoned to her naval and tiny white shorts gently set drinks down at our table. She had long bouncy blonde
hair and cheery blue eyes. Not bright blue eyes like Pesh, eyes that resembles the sky on a sunny day. They were shallow eyes that lacked emotion.

"A gentleman at the bar wanted you girls to have some sodas." The waitress smiled at us and returned for more drinks.

"I hate women like that."

"Is that because you're jealous." Pesh replied quickly without hesitation.

"Why would I be jealous of her?" I glared at her. And she looked at me and smiled.

"Because she has the body of a woman and you still look like your twelve." she grinned mischievously at me. Pesh liked to bug me about that and the fact that I was smaller and shorter than the average woman was. Pesh was only a few inches taller than I was and she seemed to tower over me. But I think the giant fluffy white wings made her look larger than she really was even though she would never admit it. "I'm just teasing you", she and started to giggle.

"" A rat", a woman screamed and jumped away from the door. A small furry creature walked in the door, he had a giant red tail and cute fuzzy red ears followed by a boy in a long brown coat wearing a tan colored cowboy hat.

"Look Hope its Kit and Deema." Pesh jumped up and ran to them picked up little Kit and hugged him like a plush toy. "Plushy, Plushy!" She squealed. She giggled like a little girl as she cuddled kit in her arms.

Deema came over to were I was, pulled up a chair and sat next to me. He looked at me puzzled. "So why did you wan to see me?" He pulled of his large hat, exposing his cute fluffy red ears that Pesh loved to pet.

"I didn't want to see you, you wanted to see me." We both reached into our pockets and pulled out similar notes. We looked at each other and looked at the notes. "I hate to say this but we were fooled by one of the dumbest tricks ever invented."

"You didn't want to see me?" He gave me a hurt look. "I'm sure Pesh is glad to see us."

"That's not important. Who would send us these stupid notes? Someone obviously wanted us together, but whom." I looked to Pesh who had now sat down and little Kit was sitting on her shoulder. The woman who screamed was cowering behind her table the man with her was trying to calm her.

"I think you worry too much", he said as he leaned back in his chair.

But I couldn't help but worry. It seemed like just when things were going good, everything always fell apart. Pesh was happy for the moment, she had said that having Deema around was just like having a younger brother. And she liked having someone around she felt she could protect.

This is a story I wrote a while ago. I think I posted it before, but I'm not sure. This is just part of it though. I'm going to use this to start an rp in our sister guild. ^_^

here is the description for my rp thread in Hufa's guild.

As you walk through Emerald City you admire it's lush green landscape and colorful display of flowers that line the hills this time of year, which are heavy with foliage. A beautiful backdrop for this quiet peaceful city. People casually walk the streets waving and smiling to their neighbors as they pass. In the not so far distance you can hear the sound of children playing and laughing. Horses clank by on the brick lined streets as they pass, their hooves striking the ground in a rhythmic motion, their magnificent coats shine in the afternoon sun. The sun warms you as you continue your journey through the peaceful town.

As you finally make you way to the opposite end of town you wander into a peculiar place, a part of the city that seems forgotten by time. When you take a closer look you realize that this has been done intentionally. There is one main street in this section of town. The wind blows softly across this sand covered street creating dust occasionally. The sand is soft beneath your feet as you walk upon it, more like the sand of a child's sandbox than an actual desert. The buildings here appear old and worn as if the buildings had been built years ago, beaten by the harsh climate of the desert. A cool breeze ruffles your coat, the temperature is quite moderate here not hot like a desert.

A few horses are tied to front of the buildings. A large dog munches happily on a wooden beam outside while it's owner is having her hair cut at the old-fashioned barber. It's peaceful and quite here, hardly the place it's exterior suggests.

You spot a saloon in the row of tattered building and decide to get a drink. The sign is crooked and barely hanging, but as you get closer you see that the sign is actually quite new, as is the building itself. The sign reads "Emerald City Saloon" in large brown letters over a off white background. The metal sign softly taps the building in the soft breeze.

You walk into the establishment and are greeted by a bubbly blonde waitress. She is wearing a long white coat, a single button below her naval is buttoned. Her only other garment is a pair of tiny blue shorts with a black leather belt. Her knee length leather cowboy boots clank on the wooden floor as she approaches you. She smiles at you with her artificial smile and gestures you to an available table. After taking your drink order she then brings it to the bartender. She gives the young man your order and returns momentarily with the drinks.

The bar is clean and tidy, but has a tired old facade, resembling that of an old western bar. But it has an obsessive cleanliness to it that only adds to it's artificial feel, making it feel less like a western bar and more like stage set for the actors that inhabited this place.

The trendy bar is what all the locals called this place. It's the place the wealthy go when they want to feel rugged and daring, something that they lacked in there daily lives.
