Well, that's a complexed question, but being a heterosexual male needless to say that my preference doesn't lean toward malexmale relationships. That being said, of course I don't mind the default malexfemale pairing but as a male my interests is naturally going to lean toward the female characters...and whats better than one cute female character? Two cute female characters and it just makes it more appealing that they're in love.

Anyways thats what draws me anyway.

Well, I guess it just rocks me like a hurricane I guess. See, at first it was just because I was a pervert. Then, I went deeper into it.
A girl that chooses to love a woman has to go beyond the normal terms of love. When a male and a female fall in love, there maybe a little disagreement from the people and parents, but that is only if they feel like they are surprised they're a couple, and for parents it's human nature.
However, if a girl falls in love with another girl, a whirlwind of emotion and questions comes up. "Is she a lesbian, too?" Not only that, but if the person she loves is a long time friend, she might ask, "If she's not, then what will happen to our friendship?" If she loves her best friend, and she doesn't love her the same way she does, then it is going to be awkward just meeting each other again. So, the one who loves her may just keep it inside, rather having them as good friends than risking their friendship and let her true feelings out.
And even the first question is answered with a yes, and she is also in love with you, this next question comes about. "What will the people think... Not only that, but my friends and family? Will they accept me and my girlfriend? Or will they hate and reject us?"
To go against the commonly made Male/Female coupling and to choose someone of the same sex as your partner because you truly love her more than anything in the world, despite what the others may say, that takes a lot of courage and a hell of a lot more heart to do. That's why I guess I'm into Shoujo-Ai along with Shonen-Ai.
Don't get me wrong, I like M/F along with F/F and M/M, but just saying... And I'm not saying that M/F has it easier than F/F and M/M, all three have their own share of problems, although each group has different problems all three groups may have in common, or are lone to that soul group.
