Well, I didn't get much help last week. cry This week's winner was Weezer - Make Believe (Its actually much better than I thought it would be. Its kind of like their earlier stuff.) Anyway, this weeks list consists of the following: Arcade Fire - Funeral, Ivy - In the Clear, Portishead - Portishead, Massive Attack - The Blue Line, and Morcheba - Big Calm. As always all suggestions are welcome. (Linen, I bought the Stars cd a week ago. If you want to suggest another of their cd's then please give me a title. I really love "Set Yourself on Fire".) ninja heart

AH AH! I found the name of their first EP, it's called heart! Get the newest album from Broken Social Scene(Feel good lost) or some Metric(Old world underground, where are you now is their latest cd. VERY GOOD!) , you won't be disapointed.

i kind of like it. its a little to slow for me, and without very good flow. if your looking for something similar thats quite possibly better check out;
Dj Krush - Code 4109
amazing set of the same stuff, the down beat hip hop breaks (im sure it has a name but it escapes me so we'll go with my convoluted version)
there is some japanese rap on that disc though, it dosent suck, so no worries.

Dj Shadow- Entroducing...= The s**t
You can criticize when you have even half his skills on decks, mmkk?
I'm actually listening to Organ Donor right now. Strange coincidence, no?
Oh, and DJ Krush is damn good on the tables too- but Entroducing is, as Q put it- "The sound of a bench being marked".

Today's winner was Arcade Fire - Funeral. Thankyou everyone for your suggestions. This week's list consists of the following: Massive Attack - The Blue Line, Stars - Heart, Death Cab for Cutie - The Photo Album, Ivy - In the Clear, and Morcheba - Big Calm. That was an interesting discussion on D.J. Shadow, as a result of which he did not make this week's list. heart

I wasn't referring to Shadow. I was just agreeing with Linen that it doesn't take musical talent to be able to criticize. smile
