Public Flogging Vice Captain

My day was pretty... Thenardier-esqu...
Auditions for the school play were today; they ran untill 5 and school ends at 2. I had the very last slot, so I had three hours with nothing to do. That turned into three hours of being generally a little gamine. First of all, I went begging. I was hungry, but didn't have any money. I was going to ask people to "Save a life, spare a sou"...but I decided not enough people would understand, so I went with "Do'ya have any spare change?"
I made five dollars and 50 cents talk2hand
Then I found something to occupy myself with. Usually, I'm on costume crew for shows. And in my school, theres a big laybrithe beneathe the theatre. Its got lots of little passages, and only like the costume girls (because we work down there) and a handful of others really know there way around down there.
Its like the sewers of paris 4laugh
Anywho, the costume head wanted me to take some new girls down there and show then were everything is. I started chanting "That's Eponine*my name*, she knows her way about. Only a kid, but hard to scare...."
The icing on the cake was that my shirt was falling off my shoulders xd (You know... like Eponine's....)

I have Joly moments whenever I have a headache or chest pain. Since I like to watch all these medical shows, I sometimes learn stuff from watchin' 'em. Has anyone heard or watched the show "What Should You Do?" on Lifetime...I think it's pretty good anyway, not most of the melodramatic stuff they have that bores me. And so whenever I have headaches or chest pains, I'm like, "I hope I don't have any of the other symptoms, too..." since you can get stroke or a heart attack at any age. Makes you want to be healthy even if it hurts, no? sweatdrop
And pfft...more Joly stuff. There's this Time Warner commercial, where all these people with professional careers complain about the downeffects of their job, but still love it anyway. So there's this one scene with a doctor. And one guy says, "I think this mole might be skin cancer or something..." and the doctor says, "902 hypochondriacs." But the hypochondriac was old and balding. Not like Joly at all, unless he suddenly had a very late aging process which went overboard...
And something in class today...I'm not sure what it was that angered me, but I remember commenting aloud that "I'm gonna build a barricade in the streets if that ever happens."

Anyways, I had a Les Mis moment today...I have a guitar class for an elective at school, our school's pretty small, so there's not a lot of people in it, which I appreciate. I'm probably one of the only two people who haven't played a guitar before. So all through the lesson, I had to get help. I somewhat felt like a dolt, therefore I somewhat felt like lil' clueless Marius. xd

More Thenardier moments today.
I did some more begging, but the highlight was when I stole some guy's watch (it was a nice one too), and then I convinced him to give me a dollar.
But... I'm to kinda hearted. I gave his watch back.
I swear to god... I'm turning into a Thenardier. I just need to get over this whole 'sympathy' thing. Its bringing me down talk2hand
Half, I'm half consistering not going to college, and just Thenardier-ing for a living.
Joly moment too. At dinner today, I randomly got a nose bleed. "ZOMG IMA GONNA DIE, THERES BLOOD EVERYWHERE, CALL THA DOCTER NOOOOWWW!!!"
and it was like.. maybe two drops of blood.
Also! I plan to have a Marius moment in the near future!
I'm going out next weekend, I'm going to try the 'Marius method' of getting somebody's phone number. I mean, the guy's gotta know what he's doing. He gets the girl and survives untill the end. So I figure if I copy him...
Basically, I plan to go up to random people and be like "I was born to be with you! .... hey, whats your name?"

There was a revolt at school today during last period. But I didn't go because it was for a silly cause. Apparently there's a huge football game tonight and they weren't allowed to have a pep fest while their opponents (the all-time arch rival of the school) were allowed to. So they kinda had their own pep fest. Of sorts. At least that's what I heard. I'm sure there were plenty of red flags though because our school colors are red and gold. (Coincidentally, our arch rivals' colors are Red and Black. So I can't wear Red and Black to school without being assasinated).
They fought bravely on till the end, even though it meant certain and utter suspension. Does that count as a Les Mis moment?

I had a very Eponine-ish moment today coming home from school...
Here's the scenario, it's pouring rain (like a Little Fall of Rain only with buckets!) so I'm wearing my cruddy blue pageboy hat (which I love to death), a long purple skirt, and an old Ramone's shirt held up by a belt around my waist and a few safety pins. Anyway, I'm walking home and I feel like a drown rat so I consider "Hey! Let's go full Thenardier today!" So I kicked off my sandals and ran home in the rain, barefoot in the street. It was really fun, but I took a vitamin when I got home so I don't get sick wink

My mother ruined a serious Eponine moment today talk2hand
So, we're shopping good will. I'm wearing my 'ponine hat, as usual. Then a see it. A perfect 'ponine coat! eek
Needless to say, I put it on. With my hat and coat, I was big pimpin' Eponine style.
I was going to suddenally break out into "on my own", but my mother was there... I'm totally cool with embarassing myself in public like that, but god help me if I embarass my mother.
And I was gonna buy it... but it was 30 dollars! 30 ******** dollars! Who's going to drop 30 bucks for a used, woren out coat that smells like grandmas! Not like I even had the money...
So then, like any good Thenardier, I was just going to walk out with it on.... but my mother would have disowned me then and there.

I was the victom of somebody else's Javert moment today.
Basically, I was wondering in the halls in school today. I had a damn good reason, and permission even, just no pass.
I got 'bagged' by my history teacher.
And of course, no reasoning I gave him was a good enough excuse. He was all like "these are the rules, beyatch, end of story."
I'm going to start calling him "Inspector *hisname*" instead of Mr. *hisname*, and see if he picks up on it. I can't wait for him to be like "why are you calling me an 'inspector'?" and I'll be like "Psshaw! You need to read more."

Public Flogging I was the victom of somebody else's Javert moment today. Basically, I was wondering in the halls in school today. I had a damn good reason, and permission even, just no pass. I got 'bagged' by my history teacher. And of course, no reasoning I gave him was a good enough excuse. He was all like "these are the rules, beyatch, end of story." Somewhat the same with me today, history teacher also. eek We still have recess at our middle school (and thank goodness for that), but my class is the only one which our teacher makes us to walk in straight lines. So we're all asking questions, and she's like, "I don't make the rules, I just enforce them" etc.
Not a Javert moment, but still, a milder case.

Its like when I had my iPod in class, yo. I had the headphones around my neck, not my head, mind you, and my iPod was OFF. So my teacher (ironically, Mr. Cox) was all 'Hey, turn your iPod off.' and I was all '...but it IS off.' and he was all 'OKAY WELL NOW YOU CAN GO TO YOUR DEAN DON'T BACKTALK ME.'
Srsly. D: I'd like to at least get a yellow ticket of leave. Unless that's what the SATURDAY DETENTION SLIP I GOT FOR IT was. >___>

My friend and I sing "Drink With Me" whenever we're drinking ANYTHING we can toast. So yeah, pretty much everytime we have a drink. xd
We sing "Do You Hear The People Sing" after a good play production
And "Master of the House" whenever we're dealing with money. lol
