True but this is just the first trailer and I would rather have them not give everything away before I get to the theater.

Just out of curiosity, what have people heard, or thought of 'The Village'? I havn't seen it yet. I didn't think it looked to bad, but Ebert really ripped it up.

I don't really like the work of M. Night Shaymalan ( or something like that xd ). The Sixth Sense was his only masterpiece, but everything that came after it sucked.
I do like the idea of a small isolated village, haunted by (un)friendly ghosts. Only for the sole purpose that the concept looks interesting, I would go there in the cinema. It would be nice if it all was worked out well enough and it could be just as great as The Sixth Sense.

Ooh I did! You know me and movies Atsu. Anyway I liked the film a great deal, but you have to know what to expect. Like his other work it is not a horror movie. Actually it is a psycholigical case study with far reaching implications for debate. You would like it Atsu, but it is not for everyone. As M. Night said in an interview it is Wuthering Heights meets King Kong. whee

Well it really is not so much of a thriller either. Think Unbreakable style of movie. Very slow moving with deep characters and interesting discussion points. Just no super heroes in this one. wink

Signs wasn't that bad, if it had a proper and less predictable ending... blaugh
Anyone saw Das Experiment? Weird stuff, but it's interesting!

Atsu Das Experiment? Nope, never even heard of it. What's it about? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0250258/It's about a reporter, the main character, who infiltrates in an experiment payed by the army. A group of people is divided into two groups, the prisoners and their guards. It all goes wrong when the reporter starts a powerstruggle with the authority. The movie isn't flawless, some of the plotlines around the main-character's girlfriend are very weird and unlogical, but it's an interesting study on how people react if they are the oppressor or are being opressed themselves. You could even see the movie as a metaphore for Nazism. It's worth the watch, if you're into psychological movies!
