Luna was enjoying her new friend's company. After about a month went by, the pups were starting to get around more, but stayed close to Luna still. Luna was still protective of Rin, as well as Alina and Sesshomaru. Currently, the pups were running around, playing with Rin, while Luna was watching over them. She was very happy around Rin, and wanted to protect the girl. There was no sign of the demon hunter, though Luna had a feeling that he was around. After all, he was not the number one demon hunter for nothing. Luna then got up, and started to play around too. She chased Rin around their camping area, but let the pups catch her too. There was one pup though, the snow white female, who was named Yuki because she looked like snow, was a little shyer than the others. She preferred to stay near Alina, while the others played. While Yuki did play a little, she didn't like to roughhouse too much. Though she would wrestle with Rin's hand from time to time. Luna was worried that her little pup wouldn't be capable of taking down large prey if she didn't play like her siblings, so it was only natural that she was worried about her.

Luna then slid to a stop, before she heard some birds in the bushes, at which she thought was the perfect time to start teaching her pups to hunt. She sneaked up on the birds, hiding in the tall grass, ears back, ready to pounce on the large birds. It was almost lunch time anyway, and she knew that the pups would be very hungry, as they were already eating meat now. She then ran at the birds, catching one midair, without having to use her powers, which was rare for her race to not use their powers while hunting. Then again, she was taught by the best hunters in her old girl's village to scavenge, and hunt, for food, as well as water. Once the bird was dead, she brought it over to Alina, with a wagging tail. She'd help with the hunting at times, and enjoyed providing for her pack.
