Lilly looked at him softly. She nodded. "Breakfast sound pretty good to me. I'm still up to it to talking to the trees with you. It will help to get it out of my head even. I can't wait to see what you have to show me Talon." She told him. She then kissed him very gently on the cheek.

Talon prepared a light breakfast for them, consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden, some bread, and hot cups of tea. He sat down at the table with Lilly as he began to eat. "So, tell me about your dreams, Lilly..." he said softly "What do you hope to accomplish with your life?"

" I was going to the healer in my forrest. I had planed to heal the people who were hurt and sick. Now I'm not sure what I want to do. I have no way of knowing how to get back home or if they even are still there to be honest. They may have moved since the raid from the slavers. At least I can heal the animals in the forest, My dream can remain in that way at least." Lilly told him as she ate. She munched on the food he had given her. "What about you what are your dreams........" She asked him kindly.

"Well, if we ever run into any wounded people on our travels, we can heal them too." said Talon, smiling warmly at Lilly. He then took a sip of his tea, gazing dreamily into her eyes. "My dream has always been to find true love, and to start a family some day. How about you, Lilly? Would you like to have a family of your own?"

Lilly thought about it. "I never thought about starting a family to be honest. There were more females then males in the forest really. I never would have had a chance......... Still sounds nice to be honest........" Lilly told him.

"Perhaps we will start a family together someday then..." said Talon, gazing dreamily at Lilly. He then closed his eyes and smiled, imagining how adorable little elf / nymph babies would look. When he was finished, he rose from his seat and took Lilly's hand. "Are you ready to go for a walk in the forest now?" he asked. He was eager to speak with the trees, and also to show Lilly some of his favorite places.

Lilly looked at him. "You would have a family with me.........?" She asked softly. She smiled at him and got up. "Yes I am ready. It has been so long since I have been in one." She told him. She smiled at him.

"Yes, I would love to..." said Talon, gently taking Lilly's hand and kissing "Not until you're ready, of course. For now, let's just focus on one another." he then walked outside with her. As they walked hand-in-hand, Talon enjoyed the scent of fresh air, and the beautiful songs of the birds. At last they came to a giant tree, that towered high above the rest. "To my people, this is known as 'Tarathiel'... it is the oldest and largest tree in this whole forest. I can only begin to imagine what sort of stories this tree has to tell."

Lilly smiled. "I can't wait for the day we have a family. I will be quite happy when that time comes." She told him. She couldn't believe that she heard birds. She wondered if she was dreaming. She then saw the tree. She took Talon's hand and placed it on the tree and put her hand over hers. "Close you eyes and should be able to hear Tarathiel." She told him softly. She closed her eyes and made it so he could hear the tree.

Talon sat cross legged on the ground, closed his eyes, and listened to the ancient wisdom that the tree had to share. A smile came to his face... Finally, he opened his eyes, stood up, and walked over to Lilly, pulling her into his arms. "Did you hear all of that?" he asked, gazing at Lilly. "Tarathiel recognizes our souls. It said that we did not meet by chance; rather it was fate... And that our souls have been destined to be together from the beginning of time itself. The tree also gave us it's blessing, and wished us good luck."

"Yes I heard Tarathiel. I'm not sure he could have mistaken my soul for another. I did have a twin sister but she died as an infant. She had gotten deathly ill." She told him. "Still if it is true I wish then I wish we could have meet sooner. Then I wouldn't have had to go though being capture and things. I didn't like it at the slave shop at all." She told him softly.

"I know, I wish we could have met sooner too..." said Talon, pulling Lilly into his arms and holding her tightly. "I'm sorry you had to go through all the terrible things you did, but it will never happen to you again now that I'm here." he then began to walk with her through the forest, taking her towards his one of his favorite places to go and relax.

Lillly snuggled into his arms as he held her. She found it to be comforting and warming. "Thank you Talon. Thank you so much. I'm glad that you did find me." She said softly. She walked with him. She wasn't sure where he was taking her. She just followed him.

As Talon walked through the forest, the smell of sulfur and the sound of bubbling water told him he was growing closer to his destination. At last, they arrived at a mineral hot springs, hidden away in the middle of the forest. "It's said that the waters of this spring have healing properties." he said. The elf stripped off all his clothes and then climbed inside, relaxing as the warm water surrounded him... He looked over at Lilly, hoping she would get inside with him.

Lilly looked at the sky she sat on edge of it and dipped her feet in. She didn't say anything but she couldn't swim. She had almost drowned when she was ten years old in a river.
