Marcus Nathaniel Bremont Marcus began laughing maniacally (part of the role) just to scare the woman. When the woman slapped him, he only tilted his head a little and dropped his blade, which he had already unsheathed. "Do you really know where this is going? Humph," he began chuckling, "this is a warning. You must admit your guilt and crime to the monarchs and to the royal guard and accept your punishment. If not, I will take it that you wish to be killed. You have two weeks, before that, you will not hear of me, but I will be watching you." Marcus then backed away a bit and turned to look at Silvia. "You, I hope you help your mother make the right choice, other wise, my blade shall feed on her blood." he told Silvia. He then picked up his sword and jumped out the window and made his departure. No one else saw him... His voice sounded so cold, his personality so cunning and cruel. It was a whole different person. Hard to believe... [[Good night! 3nodding ]]

Silvia May Silvia looked from him to his mother. She couldn't believe that he was only here to warn her. "I have no guilt, and I will not accept punishment. I did only what I thought best." She said, then watched him leave through the window. Silvia watched him leave, her eyes never leaving the side of his face. She looked to her mother. "Mother, what do you plan to do? Surely, you don't want to die by him?" She asked, but her mother shook her head. "Go to sleep, Silvia. We can deal with this in the time to come." She said as she kissed her daughter goodnight, then left her room.
Silvia lay in bed, she couldn't sleep that night. The only thoughts in her head were the assassin and his scar. ((night))

Marcus Nathaniel Bremont The Next DayMarcus had to spend the night over at the kingdom of Silvia for it was a long trip back home and his chauffeur was already tired to take him back home at such a late hour at night. His excuse had been that he had spent all day at the market finding souvenirs for his family. Of course, that was not true, but he could not say or admit that. Due to that lie, Marcus was forced to wake up early the next day and actually go the market and buy some souvenirs for his family. It would take him only a few hours to find something good, but it still was a drag. He hoped he wouldn't encounter Silvia nor her parents there for he had told them he was leaving back home yesterday. [[ Sorry sweatdrop I've been really busy with school.]]

Silvia May Silvia spent a while at the gardens, thinking about the night before. She had finally gotten into a better relationship with her mother, and now the assassin comes and met with her mother. She sighed, holding her head in her hands. "What am I going to do? I know mother won't own up to what she's done, even if everyone already knows...." She mumbled, trying to think about things. "And to top it off, I could have sworn I've seen that scar on Marcus.... I can't wait for this week to be over, then I can spend some time away from here and relax, and hopefully mother will think of something..." She said, standing up. She finished feeding the ducks and dusted off her skirt and hands, then went to the stables. "I think I'll spend some time in the market, and I'll pick up a new dress for when I go to Marcus' kingdom, I think he'd like that." She said, finding a servant and telling him.
Silvia sighed happily, smiling as she walked through the market. She found a nice dress shop and pulled the servant with her. She perused the racks, smiling at a few of them. She smiled especially at two of them, an emerald one that had 3/4 sleeves, and a black dress that reminded her of the assassin's mask's color, it was a sleeveless dress and separate sleeves that went with it . She decided to buy both of them seeing as they both fit wonderfully and she couldn't decide. "These will be wonderful, I think Marcus will like both of these, and I quite like them..." She mused, smiling as they were loaded into her carriage. She decided to go home after that and smiled, looking out the window and thinking about the week to come.
The week went by slowly, and Silvia didn't see much of her mother through it. She dressed in her new black dress, the sleeves ending the middle of her hands, the day she was to go to Marcus' kingdom. She brought her emerald dress and one more in case she were to stay for a couple days, and a necklace for Marcus as a gift for having her over. She rode in her carriage and daydreamed, thinking of her mother's safety and what Marcus' kingdom would be like.
As she reached the mansion he lived in, she gazed at the surroundings. The place was truly stunning. When she arrived, she had her carriage left at the stables, keeping her belongings in there until she knew when she was to go home, was walked up to the mansion, a servant knocking and announcing her arrival. She stayed at the door, waiting to be welcomed in. As she wait, she held her gift tightly, unsure of what to do while she waited. ((That's understandable, I just wasn't sure about it. And I'm sorry for not replying myself, I don't have internet at my apartment until this weekend gets here, I'm at a friend's house right now lol))

Marcus Nathaniel Bremont A butler opened the door and greeted Silvia. "Please do come in my lady." the butler said as he bowed. Just then, another young man passed by walking next to Marcus. The butler then turned to look at them. "My Lord, Lady Silvia May has arrived." the elderly man informed. Both young handsome men turned around at the same time, revealing that both had the same scar on the spot. Marcus approached Silvia and bowed. "Such an honor having you here Miss Silvia. May I introduce to you my good friend and war companion, Luke von Haans? He's my best friend." he said with a smile. Luke smiled and bowed. "It's truly an honor my lady." he said smiling a bit. He looked at Marcus and gave him a teasing smile. "I still can't believe you're getting married. You of all people. They finally managed to tie you huh? No offense my lady." he said chuckling a bit. Marcus sighed and glared at him. "Luke, please. Silvia, this way." he said offering her his arm. Yup, there was no doubt. Although they were not related at all, Marcus and Luke looked exactly the same in the side of the face, especially with that same scar.

Silvia May
Silvia smiled and walked into the mansion, stopping as she saw both the men. She smiled warmly at them both, and her eyes grew wide as she saw how alike they both looked. "Thank you for having me over Marcus. It is a pleasure to meet you, Sir Haans." She said, and chuckled at the remark Luke made. "I take no offense to it at all, he does seem to be the type that doesn't like to settle down, doesn't he?" She said, taking his arm.
She sighed inwardly and as she looked around the mansion interior her head was reeling. They have the same scar.... I was certain it was Marcus...What if it was Luke, oh no. Marcus would be shattered if it was his best friend that was the assassin.... She thought, and continued to look around, following Marcus.
"My, you two look so alike though. Are you sure you're not brothers? You even have the same scar..." She said, looking between the two, and she smiled as warmly as she could, though the warmth didn't quite reach her eyes.
She looked down and smoothed out a wrinkle in her skirt, then smiled and looked back to Marcus. "I hope you like this dress, by the way. I just picked it up so I would have a new one to wear here. It reminded me of a black mask I saw the other day, actually. Oh, and I picked this up for you while I was in the market. I hope you'll accept it." She said, and handed him the small box that the necklace. "I had no idea you were here as well, Sir Haans, or I would have thought to find something for you as well." She said, smiling apologetically.

Marcus Nathaniel Bremont Luke began chuckling a bit more and gave Marcus one more teasing look. "I like her. I think you will be able to control Marcus quite perfectly. I think he really likes you since he seems to be a gentleman with you. Usually, he doesn't even bother on meeting his possible brides." Luke said as he grabbed an apple from a table nearby and began eating it. To this remark Marcus sighed and elbowed Luke with a glare. "That's not it. I just thought I should give it a change for a while now. But yes, I'll admit that lady Silvia is a very respectable lady and I'm glad I actually decided to show up. Plus,... I had some business in the area at the moment." he said straightening up. He then took the small box that Silvia handed him and opened it. "Thank you. It wasn't necessary. Really, but I appreciate it greatly." he said kissing the top of her hand like a gentleman. Luke chuckled some more before speaking again. "You went last week right? To her kingdom? I was there too! I'm surprised we didn't encountered each other. Bummer. I stayed the night there as well. It was tiring." he said with a sigh. "Oh and don't worry Miss May. I'm grateful for the thought (referring to the gift), but it isn't necessary." he replied. "Ah! And we'll tell you about the scars once we're seated. It's kind of a long story."Marcus nodded. "Yes, let's go to my office and we'll tell you the story there." he suggested as they all walked upstairs to the second floor to Marcus's office. He had to hand Luke some papers. As they walked, it could be noticed that the color of the district in which Luke and Marcus lived in was black, darkblue, and silver. Just like the colors of the assassin...

Silvia May Silvia smiled, blushing when Marcus kissed her hand. At Luke's comment about her she giggled. "Well I'm glad you approve of me, sir. And please, call me Silvia." She said happily.
She stiffened a small bit when Marcus mentioned having business in the kingdom, and again when Luke said he was there too. "Oh? I wonder what you two were doing in the kingdom? Sounds like quite an interesting tale, though not nearly as interesting as your scars, I must admit." She said, giggling lightly.
She enjoyed looking around at the mansion while they walked up to the office. "I must say, I'm glad I chose to wear this dress, I seem to fit right in with the color scheme!" She joked, giggling more and covering her mouth as they walked. I'm not sure what to think now! They both have the same stories.... The only difference is that Marcus' colors are the same as the assassin's exactly. I don't know if Luke is from here or not....She thought as she laughed.

Marcus Nathaniel Bremont "Ah yes, the scars. Well, remember that I told you that I got this scar during war? Well, both Luke and I were captured by the enemy at one point and his way of marking us to prove he had power over us and show that we were his prisoners of war, he gave us both the scar. It doesn't really matter since we managed to escape and beat him afterwards, but now Luke and I have this scars as a memory of that one time." he explained as he looked through a book and folders. "I guess that's one more thing that connects Marcus and me together." he said. "Found it! Here." Marcus said getting out a paper with various signatures in it. "You now own that territory you wanted so much." Luke smiled and looked at the paper. "That's great. Thank you so much Marcus. Funny how I've lived my entire life in this district but I've never been able to obtain land of my own. I guess it does pay off having friends that are nobles." In case it wasn't obvious, Luke was just a commoner who lived in Marcus's family's land. They had become best friends after a rough beginning. "No problem." he said smiling as he now sat down on his chair.

Silvia May Silvia nodded, sitting by the window. She listened to the story and looked around when they finished. "That is an interesting story. It must be a bittersweet memory for you both." She said, looking between them. Silvia listened to them about the paper and smiled at Luke. "Congratulations Sir Haans." She said, walking over to them both. She understood how things went with owning land, so at least she wasn't out of the loop for that.
Well, that answers that question. He lives here too.... Maybe there are two assassins then? No, that doesn't make sense.... She thought, and went back to the window, looking outside. It was a beautiful landscape, but she mostly was looking out the window so she could try and think.

Marcus Nathaniel Bremont Marcus approached Silvia and turned her around gently. "Hey,... is something bothering you? You seem so distant..." he asked. As the assassin, he already knew what it probably was, but he couldn't give that away. At least he had given her mother a warning. He always did that to others, but they never listened and ended up committing more crimes. "I know, let's dance. It's been a while since we've used the dance room and I heard from a little bird that you like to dance." he said offering her arm. "Shall we?" he offered. Luke watched them with a sneaky face. It so obvious he likes her! Marcus doesn't even like dancing. I didn't know Marcus was the type to fall in love so easily. Oh well, I just have to watch this. he thought with a grin as he followed them.

Silvia May Silvia looked at him, coming back to reality. "Oh, I'm sorry. I've just had something on my mind. how rude of me to zone out like that..." She said, blushing at him.
She smiled at the offer to dance and took his arm gracefully. "Oh really? I'd love to meet this bird. I haven't danced in a while, to be honest. But yes, I love dancing, I took lessons for most of my life." She said, blushing at what she had just said. She normally never spoke so openly about her lessons or what she enjoyed doing.
She followed him to the dance room and smiled warmly when they got to the dance room. It was a lovely place indeed. "It is an honor to dance with you, Marcus." She said happily.

Marcus Nathaniel Bremont Marcus smiled at Silvia and continued to talk with her all along the dancing. "You're a pretty good dancer. I feel deeply ashamed of my poor dancing skills. Will you teach me?" he asked her. They had been in the dancing room for about an hour now, but since most of the songs were slow, they weren't as tired. As they danced together, Marcus noticed how beautiful Silvia looked and how well she smelled. He wasn't the type of men to usually notice this kind of stuff, but he couldn't help but feel attracted to the young lady and her grace. However he hadn't realized this yet. He thought that he enjoyed her company only because she was an interesting person. He still thought that this arranged marriage was useless and that he should be able to marry whomever her wants. Luke continued to watch them and smirk. "Too bad you don't like each other more than friends. You two look so perfectly well together!" Luke teased. He was going to apply pressure to both of them.

Silvia May
Silvia smiled and blushed lightly at his compliment. "Thank you very much, Marcus. You're not too bad either, but I would love to teach you more if you want. Though that would mean spending a bit more time with you either here or at my kingdom. I couldn't possibly teach everything to you in one day. And I don't want to take up all your time when your friend is here." She said, blushing more at the thought of teaching him how to dance. It had been a nice hour of dancing, though she was used to more....experienced partners on the dance floor.
As they finished dancing, she felt almost reluctant to move away from him. She didn't know why, but she felt comfortable with him so close. She wasn't sure why she felt like that, she wasn't going to marry him just because of one silly dance. She still felt like the arranged marriage was ridiculous.
She blushed more when Luke piped in. "Oh, Sir Haans, you're so silly." She said, giggling quietly. She hid her face by looking away from him.
