First off, I would like to say this:

That said, I will introduce myself! I am Halla Rose (not really but everyone has their handle, right?). I am known in other places as Rosie, and Rose Pippin, and "you fool of a Took!". sweatdrop Here, I am known as Halla.
I am 5'4"...barely. Which makes my name sort of a joke. Break out your Elvish dictionaries if you're confused. whee Lord of the Rings (and all of Tolkien's work) is the biggest thing in my life, other than church, and is followed closely by a certain guy...but I won't go into that. I am 18. I had never been hit by a single hurricane in my life, but then we moved across the country and ended up being hit by three and just barely got the edge of a fourth. I am a drama geek (or drama chick or drama queen...I've been called all three), and am actually auditioning for The Sound of Music tomorrow. Miss Kelly, my voice teacher (I sing, too) says that they should cast me as Liesle...Leisle...whatever...and I've only been taking lessons for a month!
I tend to ramble. I love Hobbits, they're awesome, but funnily enough the "man in my life" right now (man? *snort* hardly!) is so tall I only come up to his shoulder.
Heh.
So, yeah! Hi! That's me in all my glory!

Hi, I'm Malkie, more commonly known as AJ, and let's get this right from the start to avoid later troubles, I am female.
Okay. I'm 18 and am one of the like 20 people whose(who's? I'm horrible with grammer sometimes) favourite character is Boromir. I roleplay him, I love him both in the books and in the movies, I just like the man, okay?
Aside from that I'm uhh about 5'11" not that that piece of trivia is important.
I'm thinking of putting together a little LotR fansite, if anyone wants to help. (I'm always wanting help...I run a medium sized domain all by myself...)
As for what I've read. I've read the Simirillian (again with the spelling, can't do it sometimes) and Fellowship of the Ring. I'm currently about three chapters into Two Towers, but had to take a break.
I really think I've said enough. Hi, how ya doing?

Hello, My name is Teddie.
I absolutly love the LOTR, I think that They are exceptionl books!
Even though I have only read the Lord of the rings and began reading then because of the movies.
I am 14 years old and struggling with school and not enough sleep.
I am into website design and image graphicts, even though I cant draw.
I love to listen to Soundtracks and The Lord of the rings are by far my faivorite!
I love to read, my faivorite author other than J. R. R. Tolkien is Marion Zimmer Bradley who wrote the Mists of Avalon!!!
Oh, and I love hisorical fiction espetially King Arther, Troy and the Amazons.

Hi, I'm Christine, I am 12 years old and I love the Lord of the Rings. I have read the hobbit twice and recently finished reading the Lord of the Rings for the first time! Go me! smile I have also been a fan of the movies for sometime. Besides that I like reading in general and I am Canadian.

well the roman mysteries are, well, about Roman Mysties. They're about 4 friend in old day times. Kennith Oppel wrote: Silverwing, Sunwing and Firewing. They're about bats. It sounds corny but they're really good. he also wrote Airborn, about a guy in a blip. (did I spell that right?)

Hi! I am a HUGE LOTR fan and I will respond to the name Ithilvalan, which is my name translated into...both forms, I think, perhaps? Ithil is Sindarin, but I could swear Valan is Quenya. Sorry, rambling again. Not very fluent in any languages yet. My favorite work by Tolkien besides the actual Lord of the Rings is the Unfinished Tales of Numenor, because I liked the story about Galadriel. I'm 13 and a freshman in high school. I also like Rurouni Kenshin and many other animes and mangas.

Hello, I am the one and only spreadable, edible, and oh-so-incredible Electric Monk. I am a huge LotR fan and also big on RPing. I own old 1960s editions of the trilogy and a one-volume version that I bought a couple years ago. I also own The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, The Lost Road and Other Writings, and the Atlas of Middle-Earth. As to the movies, I have both the theatrical and extended editions of FotR and TTT, and I have the theatrical version of RotK. Rest assured, they are all in w i d e s c r e e n.
I have loved LotR since eighth grade, when I first read the trilogy all the way through. My favorite characters are Treebeard and Tom Bombadil. I just love the mysteriousness that they have. The scene of the Ents attacking Orthanc in the movies nearly made me go catatonic with joy. I love Ents that much. Which is why my RP character is an Ent.

My favourite food is cheese - insult it and you die scream - and I love grunge and alternative rock. I am known as Fiona, Fi, Weirdo, Strangelytallhobbit and on here merlinssister. I have always been facinated with witches and witchcraft since I was little and love the supernatural blaugh I am also 14 and my elvish name is Gilraen Falassian.
