Keiran got up and growled angrily at Kathren. " She is MY mate! You dispicable FLEA infested Felines should learn your places. Show Some respect to the LORD of this area. I will do what I please!" He grabbed the confused Kia and placed her behind him as he got into a fighting stance.
Kia looked at his back highly confused before she realized the meaning of his position. Something primal in her clicked on, and she reached out a hand to his neck. Softly rubbing the junction between his shoulder and neck, she nuzzled her face into the same crevice. Keiran whimpered at her touch and slowly dropped his stance, instead turning to her and hugging her to him. Kia gave Kathren a victorious smirk from her crushed place in his body.

Kathren sat down and mumbled, "Im Not Flea Infested." She glanced over to the door as the teacher walked in. Mr. Craig immediately told them to sit down and reminded them that they were in an art class, not a Brothel. He went to his desk to get the day's lesson plan. After Kia and Keiran had taken their seats, kathren leaned over to give them some advice. "A little descretion would be something to keep in mind. Also, Keiran. You are only the lord of your Kind. The whole world doesn't revolve around you." She made sure to make the suggestion sound very helpful and in a pleasant tone. She didnt want him to fly off the handle again. There were too many people around. "Besides, Im Kia's best friend and I have to look out for her. Right, Kia?"

Kia nodded her head in agreement as she had a puzzled look on her face. " What happend earlier...Why did I do that...And why did you call me your mate! AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN LORD OF YOUR KIND!!!!!" Keiran looked sheepishly out the window, not looking at her or kathren. Kia growled then an evil grin spread across her face. Reaching out to the sensitive area in between his shoulder and neck, she once again stroked it softly.
Keiran leaned into the touch and turned towards her. She smirked as he pouted. She gave him a questionning look as to her previous response and he sighed beofre she removed her hand. " It's a long story. Best told...after class. I will tell you then, Just not right now..." Kia grudgingly agreed and turned to the front of the room. He took her hand and placed it back on his sensitive spot before putting his head down on the table to have a nap, Her soothing movements lulling him into a dream world .

Kathren didn't like keiran. That was now apparent, but if Kia liked him then she was going to have to get used to it. After Mr. Craig had finished giving his speach and lesson, She took out the copy of the morning announcements to show to Kia. She asked, "So, What clubs are you joining this semester?" She pointed out the Choir, Anime club and Drama club. She whispered, "Please don't let him take you away from me..."

Kia looked down at Keiran's sleeping form with a soft smile. She attempted to move her hand away and frowned when his hand shot up to grab hers in a tight grip. She sighed with exasperation and rested her chin in her hand as she resumed the stroking. She turned to Kathren and rolled her eyes. "Men, And don't worry. He wont take me away from you. Hoe's before Bro's...Hehe." Kathren giggled with Kia and they both lapsed into a silence which was shattered by Keiran's snoring.

Keiran mean while, was in a land of mystics. His head, some would say. Drool came out the side of his mouth and a girly giggle escaped his lips. Kathren and Kia looked at each other, crinkling their noses up before bursting out laughing. Kia nudged her 'mate', and watched in delight as he fell over. Her delight was short lived as she too went down with him. Kia groaned and shook her head. " How do I get myself into these situations..."
Keiran blinked up at her, dazed at the way he had woken up. " I knew you wanted to be here, with me...this way." A big grin came over his face as she blushed. She looked the side in annoyance and huffed. She then stood up and he watched with a hidden smile as she walked off.

Kathren gathered her books and thought it best to talk to Keiran as little as possible. Wolfs are impossible to reason with especially when it's Keiran. She didn't want to start a fight in school or around Kia. Kathren simply nodded at Keiran and followed Kia before heading off to her next class.
She really didn't like the idea of Keiran and Kia together but if this was what Kia wanted then she would have to respect her decision. Kathren was serious about that chaperone thing though. Kia deserved to be worshiped not expected to lower herself to a man's needs.
Kathren caught up with Kia in the hall and asked "Are we still going to meet in Lacky's Bush after school?" She hugged Kia's arm, knowing Keiran would expect to have Kia's undivided attention. She could shake off the feeling that she was going to loose Kia forever and there was nothing she could do about it. At that moment a hatred for wolfs burned deep inside of her, almost making her tear.

Kia turned to Kathren and grinned. She loved to hang out with Kathren and Lacky's was their home, She would gladly ignore Keiran for them any day. "Of course, Why Not?" She stuck her tongue out at Kathren and giggled as Kathren did the same. They started to laugh hysterically at each other before plopping down at the lockers. "What's your next class?"
Kathren and Kia both looked up when they heard someone clearing their throat to get their attention.Keiran was looking at them expectantly for some unknown reason. When both girls continued to look at him in confusion, He motioned his head towards the lockers. "You are in front of my locker..." Kathren groaned as she realized that their lockers were beside each other, Kia giggled happily and pulled on his pant leg playfully. He grinned at her, kneeling so they were face to face. Kia shivered in delight as he whispered into her ear. " Do I have to move you? I'd be more than willing..." She blushed and shuffled over a little to give him access to his locker.
Kia looked around, diverting her attention to the wall. "Um...Well, Its time for your next class....Let's go, kathren." With that, she pulled Kathren up and practically ran down the hall to escape the male figure watching her intently.

Kathren glomped Kia as they ran down the hall. "You're the greatest! You ditched him." She squealed with joy. Running to the back hall she replied "I've got a Science class with Mr. Maccony." She giggled arriving at her last class and before parting ways with Kia, she waved shouting. "Meet me at the flag poll after school Kia!"
Kathren went in greeting Mr. Maccony and took her usual seat in the middle at the front. She was two minutes early so she took out her drawing pad and sketched a panther lying lazily on a thick branch. She sighed and suddenly felt a bit edgy. Her hair on her arm stood up on end as she spotted someone out of the corner of her eye.

Kia waved goodbye to Kathren as she entered class, and she continued to walk down the hall. She examined her left hand, looking at her ring finger with a wary expression. When another hand entered her field of vision, she jumped in surprise. A quick glance up, showed her Keiran's face. "Hello..."
Keiran sniffed the air, and nodded with a pleasant smile. He looked at Kia with a wondering look as she continued to look anywhere but at him. He noticed her discomfort and backed away a little. "Um...I guess we need to have that discussion...Um...I guess...I'll see you then?"
Kia glanced up in utter shock as his eyes shone with fear,longing and something else that she couldnt identify. He looked uneasy and not as sure of himself as before. She nodded her head and smiled softly as he shuffled his feet nervously. She waved Bye and started to walk away, but when she looked back she started to giggle. He was waving his arms in big circles with the same aristocratic look on his face that she had been use to, And He was waving...to Kathren.

Kathren looked at Keiran slightly confused and shook her head. "O.K. So he can be cute in that dopey irritating sort of way." Leaning on her elbow she raised her hand hiding her face and pretending not to know him. She glanced down at her drawing and notices something she wants to change. She then proceeds to add more details to her drawing.

Kieran plopped down in the seat next to Kathren and grinned at her unamused face. "Hello, my friend." He started to take out his books from his bag, and a thoughtful look came over his face. "Kathren, I dont particularily like you. It's nothing personal, your just a feline. Nakia is my mate though, whether you want to admit it or not. I don't want to cause her...distress. How about an agreement of sorts. We don't have to like each other, but for Nakia's sake...We shall be civil. Agreed?" He looked like the idea pained him but he knew that he had to do it.

Kathren looked over at him and surprisingly she smiled. "I never thought you'd agree to that. It's the reason why I didn't bother talking to you before." She giggled pleasantly and continued talking. "Don't take it the wrong way but you have to admit you aren't the easiest person to talk to."
Her eyes lit up as she explained "By-the-way I don't really hate you. It's just I didn't like how you were treating Kia before. It was just so down grading weather you realized it or not. You know the main reason why my race dislikes yours is because of the way you treat us. In general wolves have a tendency to pick on us felines. We don't get the respect every individual should show another. Lack of respect really bothers me." She nods, "So yes, I agree to be civil with you. Just remember Kia is still my best friend and I've protected her since she was little. We grew up together!"

Keiran thought about her response for a moment and smiled slightly, holding out his hand for her to shake. "Agreed...You know, there never used to be animosity between our races. Im not sure what happend, but something did and now...the races are at war. I think that we may be able to bring a peaceful agreement. A pact, if you will. My sister is marrying the Prince of the Felines. He unfortunately is her mate and an unsavory 'Tom' at that. It is a means of a truce."
