Still in pain and have an epic ton of homework this weekend... also stressing about my participant ticket for faire since I don't know if I can get out there this weekend or not.

Oh man, this week has been absolutely grueling! Due to the car accident I was out of school for a couple days and then I was on painkillers so I couldn't really remember much from those particular days. I basically was trying to play catch up on all my work. Spent this week knocking out 2 mid terms (one was an in-class biology test, the other was a take home, 8 page essay-style test), researching and typing up debate notes and writing a speech.
I can't promise that the next couple of days will be any less busy though since this is the first weekend of Ren Faire and I have to get all my costuming together and laundry done. X___x

No AC would make me a sad panda. I tried to go along with my husband's grand idea of turning the AC off and opening the windows, but I only lasted one day. I'm just not built for the south's heat/humidity.

Still no baby. Now husband is mad at me for rethinking the whole name thing. Can the poor kid just be Baby Girl? I really am at a loss here.

He needs to relax a bit. Thinking straight is not on the agenda for pregnant women (I can attest to that!) The name will come to you guys and you will agree when the time comes.

Yeah, no AC really put a damper on everything last week. My laptop kept shutting itself down because of the 98F+ heat we had for a bit. It was a lot cooler today but, according to the weather reports it should warm up again *joy*

OMG! I am sick. And I have been kind of sick for 2 weeks now. *sad face*
I also saw my Dr. this last Friday and she prescribed Flexeril for my back pain (which has been amplified by the car accident) and physical therapy (which starts next week.)

Speaking of accident, I talked to my claims rep today and apparently there was a 3rd car involved: A car got hit by a white SUV, which in turn got hit by me. I don't remember there being another car at the scene, exactly. :-S

Been in a funk all day long. I really need to make changes in my life that will make me happier but I am finding it really hard to figure out what changes should be done to make me happier in my future.

*le sigh*

Time for some crochet therapy!

Oi! Why do I have to be one of those people that just hates to see people miserable and, in turn, must have a stamp on my forehead stating "please chew my ear!"
Last night went to a Flapper themed 50th b-day party for a friend. Was having a grand time and then in the last hour and a half was tucked outside in the freezing cold listening to a woman pour out her drama.
I normally don't mind being an ear for someone if it makes them feel better... I just wish there were different times or places for it to happen. >__<

My bf says I bring it onto myself because I don't walk away. Well, I just don't have the heart to turn my back on someone who OBVIOUSLY needs help and is trying to reach out.

This is frustrating and hard to explain.

There are some things that most men just don't get. Playing the sympathetic ear is one of them. Luckily my husband gets it because we have a fair amount of dyke friends that complain to him about all their woman problems. rofl

My only gripe lately is that my husband's unit keeps going back and forth on whether or not he's deploying. We're both relatively prepared for him to go, but it makes planning difficult. If he is going to deploy then it'll be at the beginning of December and either way it's making planning on a trip home for either Thanksgiving or Christmas rather difficult. >_<

Ugg! I can't even imagine!! Are you guys trying to plan so that both of you can go on the trip or just planning for when you will go around his deployment?
