EwMonkeys22 OP/L seemed to like it muchly. Just thought I'd share with you as well...**EDITED** --Chocolate Covered Strawberries--Street fight takes place with fists flying faster than the wind and insults hurling themselves onto the hearts of their victims. Mud and blood mix to create that perfect color like strawberries doused in chocolate. Beads of sweat trickle down like falling fireworks' sparks. Their intense energy surmounts until a scream envelops the stiff, dry air. The red, white, and blue lights illuminate the deadly night as they blind the aggressors. Black and white are soon to be the only colors they're left to see. That sounds heaps better, it has a great poetic flow now and is a strong poem the whole way through, well done on the ammendment, i hope you are happy with the results.

Kay, I'm gonna forewarn you all, this is religious (Christianly). I'm helping with our Sunday School program, and our theme is 'water' and my teacher said I should write a poem. So, I threw together some things and was wondering if you all would like to help? And if biblical stuff isn't exactly your thing, I'll be posting another poem once I finish with this one that is FAR less... Like total opposites. Like, you wouldn't expect someone who goes to church to come up with something like the next one. Heh heh. Anywho, on with this one...
*&*Holy Water*&* Flowing liquid sustaining life. God's creation to serve creation. His weapon of mass destruction when all hope was lost. Clear to rouge, water to wine, miracles never cease. When my brothers were thirsty, you gave them water. What you do for them, you do for me. Moses, Moses, save them all, create paths and destroy them faster than donkeys across deserts to bring the Savior to birth. The beads of sweat that descend on a dark, final day. The tears He cries when He hears a voice that's long been astray.

And I call myself a Christian... This is the one piece of work that I'd never want my family to see. And you may consider it too perverted (especially for a 14 year old... sweatdrop ) But, I like the ending. So... here yall go:
^^>The Girl You Wouldn't Bring Home to Mama<^^ Met her dancing in a bar on a pole, of course. Topless, breasts shine in the neon lights. Call her a slut, but stick a dollar in her barely-there bikini bottom. Phone numbers exchange & hotel room's decided. Next thing you know you're on the bed excited. It shows. You're a man, of good size too. No woman's turned you down before. She walks up from the bathroom. See-through lingerie leaves nothing to the imagination. Not that you're dressed any better. Climbs on in, tension grows. And so do you in certain places. Stick it further, such a pervert. You don't care that she's twenty years younger than you. She don't care either, 'cause she's bein' satisfied. One last time, go again. Then it's goodnight, never see you again. Tomorrow night'll just repeat it. Over & over. Life's cycle of ******** and run. But you don't care 'cause you have fun. And society wonders why STD's spread so fast.

Haven't posted in a while... I guess I'll give you a new one. Here:
..Gathered.Condensation.is.Prettier.than.You.. Inanimate objects flowing, through the infinite expanse above. Fluff & angels' white mattresses form abstract shapes left to the imagination. They cover the fire that lives in us all. They cry when we're unhappy, yet disappear when we're in joy. Changing & molding faster than butterflies flutter. Drifting across the sky slower than the lazy wind blows. Creating the perfect canopy between here and where we wanna go. heart

--Fruit Salad of Life-- Rainbows of flesh, and differences in belief make up what should be a collage of children. They blend like fruit placed together in a bowl to make a beautiful centerpiece. All are doing their seperate parts to make the whole reach it's greatest potential. Like apples & cherries with same colored skin, people may look the same but think different dreams. So what if I don't believe in Heaven like you? So what if I don't like the same gender that I'm supposed to? You shouldn't care, as long as I'm good to you, you should be good to me. Just accept me for me.
(A/N: In social studies, we've been learning about tolerance. My group has to do posters & since they all have heard some of my poetry before, they said I should write a poem. This is what I created, but if you can come up with some way to improve it, please let me know... it's not due til Tuesday, and even after that I'll still improve it just because that's what I do biggrin . Thanks!)

<> My stomach's stiff. My heart feels as if it were thrown off the Titanic & into the icy water. All of my senses are gone. 'BFF' is what you said. 'Gone tomorrow' is what you meant. Where are you? I need you. Come back to me. Every time you stare with those 'innocent' blue eyes, you make me freeze. Ice flows like blood through my veins. It's so cold now. Whenever we cross paths anymore, you make me look away. I can't stand you now. I try to reconcile, but you just disagree. No matter what I say, it's wrong to you. I don't want you now.
(A/N: As you can probably tell, I'm not having the greatest of times with my 'best friend'. The reference to 'innocent' blue eyes was a joke among us, but now it's like... *trails off into another world*)

Meh, life's been difficult lately. Enjoy...
,,,,Life's Classrooms Aren't A.B.C & 1.2.3,,,,
Our arguments never cease like heart beats. The only way they'll stop is to kill them.
Endless bickering plus classroom pressures minus anyone to comfort you equals an unsolvable equation. Shows what good math class is.
Back in the day, I was happy. End of story. History's useless too.
Penmanship flows onto snow white pages, the equivalent of a sad, sappy love poem. No help from language arts.
We're made up of atoms. Who the hell cares about something so small when you've got a thousand-foot line waiting at your 'free advice' booth?
Run a mile in gym, you pass. Run a mile in life, and you haven't moved an inch. Art can't paint a morbid enough picture, nor music a dark enough song.
Lunch is what kills you. Food is fat. Fat is harassment. No food is anorexic. Either way you're screwed.
Which is why I ask, what is the point of school?

sweatdrop Sorry to anyone who's been keeping track of my poetry... I've been surprisingly busy lately, so I haven't been able to create or post anything. Alright, that being said, I'm officially saving this spot for later tonight where I will create for you, on the spot, a beautiful work of art. 3nodding Until later, loves. heart
**Later** Woot! I'm back! Alrighty, as I said before, I got somethin for ya. Hope you like. It's quite short compared with my others, but it's a rather different topic 3nodding
.>The Corner of Killer Street & Murder Road<. Cheaper than gasoline to fuel cars, anger fuels road rage upon the superhighway. So rushed to go nowhere without notice of any others. Blindness leads to vehicles embracing closer than love-stricken teenage bodies. When the red of the stoplights are ignored, the blood shed below redefines the color. Oblivious to limits and restrictions, they fly through neighborhoods with a heavy alcohol on their breath. Intoxicated & conceited, metals collides with everything in sight, closing the headlight eyes simultaneously with the driver's.

heart Wow the ending on this poem is everything it needs to be, it provokes thought, it's strong, it's insightful yet at the same time shows the grisly nature in which these things can occur. However i must criticise the begining, i didn't really like it at all. The first two lines just seemed a bit like meaningless statements and a new reader to your work might be a little turned off by how it begins, i would hate for that to happen for they would miss out on the ending. I would say the first four lines need to be reworked, however i would definitely think of scrapping the first two. Overall though i loved the very evident change of theme for you as a writer very well done, and the ending makes this poem really worthwhile, well done!

>>>Wake Up & Smell The Huggies Turn Into Cheap Perfume<<< Livin' in a land of Tinkerbells, children grow with false hopes. What they don't know can't hurt them. They want to dance with purple dinosaurs and live with Ernie & Bert. A dream is a wish your heart makes. No one reveals that nap-time years are shorter than their attention spans, and blankie isn't immortal. It's just a phase; they'll grow out of it. A few years from now your 'Baby girl' will be dancin' in a club. And that dearest boy you hold so close will be runnin' away with his fears. My kid will never be that suicidal teen. Maybe it's not the little ones who need to grow up.
(A/N... The words in italics are like the parents either talking to their kids or some other adult. Any comments & criticism are welcome... Thanks.)

Fun fun! Another poem about sex... rolleyes
Slutty Princess
Follow my orders; I own you. My power is higher than a hippie on crack. When I say '******** me', you say 'With pleasure'.
Who needs emotions when you've got feelings like these? The sensation I get when I drop my gown to my ankles before I join you on the royal balcony for the night.
Oh, babe, don't bother callin' me gorgeous. I'll never see you again. Just keep your mouth tight against mine, and you'll be able to brag to your little peasant buddies, 'I bet you didn't ******** the princess.' And they'll just reply, 'Yeah we have.'

Brand new, written just for you...
Please Pass the Pain Killers
The pain shooting through my body is faster than a cowboy shooting through a ghost town.
From my soles, through my soul, to the tips of my hair, hurt courses through my every inch. Caressing each bone as it flows like blood to each region of my being.
My heart's beats have slowed; minimal breathing's occuring. The eye in my mind is sleeping now, and my limbs have been pulverized.
Help my poor & dying life; save me from destruction. I fall onto my broken knees, collapsing into ashes.

__Titleless__ (help?? If you create one I'll be eternally grateful xd )
Drip drop; Tick tock. Measure the time as it swirls down the infinite tubes, confining its path the way a mother cages her young.
The passage of the flow is soothing. Caressing.
But it's intent is worse than an over-dramatic actress tackling Romeo & Juliet. "Where for be art thee me dear sweet guy on a horse?"
The imperfection, untalent, and pure horrific nature of the attempts demolishes the guts of those who witness.
The child cries out, Mother, Mother. But she can't hear him; the suffocation she provides to him stifles his cries. He needs to breathe. She needs to back off.
(btw, thank you LaRoxa for the compliments)

I really liked your first one, "My Soldier". It had a lot of emotion behind it, and it told an interesting story. biggrin that one was my favorite, anyway.
