A man wearing a leather duster and a sheriffs badge approached them, "I'm Sheriff Jim, now I'm gonna have to ask you to lower your weapons, I just wanna know what all the commotion is about." he said calmly as he walked up.
Cadget put her gun back in it's holster. "Hey Jim, these boys were trying to start something and the new girls got a bit jumpy is all. No harm done."
"No harm done? what about that fella with the broken bones? the town can't afford to spare medical supplies willy nilly you know that Caddy." Jim replied. "Who did that to him anyway? it wasn't you was it?" he asked eyeballing Lacey and Kris

Kris snorted angerly. "Hell no it wasn't us. it was those men." He said pointing to the men who they found beating him. "Why do you think she was so jumpy? We found them beating him," kris said calming down. Flicking her kives back into her sleeves scowling.

"I meant no harm, I was only asking it's my job." Jim said in reply to Kris' response. "I'm sure if you were with Caddy here you're telling the truth."
Cadget nodded "Those men beat the poor man, and were about to attempt to force themselves on us before we put them in their proper place. we were just leaving the bar and about to head on over to pop-eyed Pete's store to pick up some traveling supplies."
"I see you going out on another savaging mission then?" Jim asked
"Something of the sorts yes" Cadget nodded
"Well you take care of yourself then Cadget. I'd hate to see one of the few heroes of this town to die on some treasure hunt." Jim said kindly. "You two as well" he said smiling at Lacey and Kris

Lace tense instantly at the sniper shot, though she didn't let her eyes leave the two cronies in front of her. "Why hello boys" She called out to the police cheerily, as if things like this happened every day. "May i have the pleasure of knowing what is going on here?" Out of the corner of her eyes, she watched as the Sheriff walked up. Noticing Cadget holster her gun, Lace decided it was okay for her to do the same. In one motion, she let go of the man's hair and pulled her gun away from his neck, stepping back to join Kris and Cadget. Putting away her weapon, she eased up and let the other two do the talking. This situation didn't need her input. Besides, everything worth saying had already been said. She nodded towards the Sheriff in response

So now i'm thinking of a different way to where she can get her wings back and unintentionally put herself in harm's way!!! =D We've got enough self-harmers already^^ ))(thats true it seems they are a dime a dozen nowa days emo but i've been distracted cause my stupid leg's been bothering me, and i can't focus on much else sweatdrop )

Cadget said her good bye to the sheriff. "Sorry about that.' She said to Lace and Kris, "Shall we go ahead and leave? or would you like to get some supplies?" she asked, pulling a Nuka Cola out of her pack and sipping at it
