((Yeah, I was trying to decide if you wanted us to follow or not. But either way, Hikaru would be the type to follow and make sure Yue's okay. She might try to leave later though...)) No matter how deep the darkness...  Hikaru had slipped into a nearby alleyway, and was watching Vera from the shadows. After being satified that she was okay, Hikaru made her way toward the Upper Ring. She wanted to make sure Yue was okay as well. After that, she would head out again. Being in one place too long had proven dangerous before, and would prove dangerous again if she stayed.There will always be a light...

 "Burn Ever Brighter"
Hēi shouted over his shoulder," See you at the coronation." Although he didn't know the man he still felt that he should find out what the whole indecent was about. But for he didn't have the time to think it over now. He used fire bending to blast him up into the air where his airship was waiting. He quickly adjusted the crimson silk robes and then donned his gold trimmed ceremonial armor. He walked from the observatory platform to the cockpit of the airship and said to the helmsmen of the ship,"Take us to the upper ring.Hold at this altitude until I say otherwise." He then walked back out to the observatory platform. He enjoyed the feel of the breeze on his skin.

At the marketplace of the busy Middle Ring stood one of the famous shops of Ba Sing Se. Inside the shop was Vera, otherwise known as Lady Vera. She was the fortune teller of the shop, and her fortunes was well known through out each villager. Today, she was laying out rocks on her table. But, each rock actually held hidden gems underneath. Vera herself had her hair down, its curls reaching past her waist slightly. Her dress was one of a noble's, and her cloak was very unique with its chinese characters. Though her arms stood out the most, each having earth bind around the arm like art. Her left arm had a snake as her right was a vine. After laying out the rocks, she opened her door to the shop, signaling that it was open. "Ello Lady Vera!" One of the men call out to her from a nearby shop. "Greetings friend." She replies with a wave, returning to her shop afterwords. Vera then sat, waiting for her next costumer patiently as she folded her legs.

"Quite a beautiful day out, isn't it."
A man wearing a hooded cloak looked up at the sky as he stood near the woman. He then looked at her shop.
"A fortune teller, eh? So, what does the waves of fate have in store for a traveler like me?"

Vera smiled, looking up at him." Fate holds many things, perhaps one of these will answer which fate is yours." She says, gesturing towards the table. The table sat in the middle of the room, and about twenty rocks laid amongst it. One would think she was joking as each rock looked as dull as the next. Yet, still, she waited for his response hoping to he would be the first to try one of her new methods.

She nods, watching him sit. Smirking slightly at his words," For one who follows the current..I would suggest you pick three not one." she adds sensing that the answer to his question would hold more then others. Vera was one of those true fortune tellers, one that would tell of the past or the future. Her involvement with the spirit world gave her that talent, whether it was a curse or blessing she cared not.

"Hmmmm....these three..."
He points to three rocks. One being an ocean green color, one like the eastern ocean in the fire nation. One being an aquamarine color, pure and beautiful like the waters in the lands of the air monks. And a pure white stone, clean and soothing like the soft snow that falls on the northern and southern water villages.

Vera picked up the three he chosen, looking at each of them thoroughly. Ahh...just what I thought. Her eyes shifted colors, a brief draft in the air chilling them as they sat. "Very well...now, before I continue, tell me first if there is anything that I might do that disturbs you. My last one got upset that I predicted her son's death..." She says scratching the back of her head, attempting to explain why. Ever since, she decided to make it mandatory that her costumers were comfortable with what they were being told. The rocks laid on her palm, still appearing to be just rocks.

"I come from the southern water tribe and have traveled through every nation. I live among nature and have become one with my element and have mastered the use of the human body, turning both my bending and body into a weapon. I have also trained my mind to stay calm in all situations. However, there is something in the air that bothers me, a bad omen. I feel something may happen and I need to know will I be able to combat it."

(Sry, I would post pictures myself but at the moment the pics I currently have of her isn't really efficient =/ )
"Ahh..very well then. Let us see what these will say.." She says, setting the three in front of her. She flips one over, though only showed it towards herself. Her eyes shifted in the darker color as before, her pupils dissolving into her eyes themselves. "The Past. As a child you have went through many things. Both horrid and scarring, yet you were able to overcome it. Water...water brought you to a place where you learned. These things you have learned...have came in handy in time and in the path ahead.." She mutters, almost whispering as images flashed before her. Her involvement in spirits giving her this gift many years ago. Yet, she paused, setting the first rock down as she awaited any comments or questions he would have. Able to answer some of the questions, but there was some she could not.

Yun smiles and nods his head. He drops three gold coins on the table.
"Thank you, I feel more assured with my future. But then again, while the river leads down the straight path, it leads to the lake and ocean. From there on out, the future is uncertain. Will I enjoy the peaceful calm, or be swept up in the storm....this I do not know, nor does anyone..."
Yun leaves the middle ring and proceeds to leave the city.
