The Keepers were talking amongst themselves, but loud enough for most to hear. They were saying that however different from Aman this place was, it in fact was Aman. There was no doubt, they had not strayed in their course. As they disscussed this the ship made its way into the empty harbor, and instead of a company of elves to great them there was but one singular elf standing on the docks. There were other boats in the harbor, but they were all abandoned. They were seemingly alone.

Elrond, Galadriel, and Mithrandir made there way from the ship to the lone elf. The company of the ship followed slowly after, Sumayah stayed to the back. She was confident that she could hear whatever happened from there, thanks to her years in the forests of Middle Earth. She could hear the three inquire as to what had happened.

The elf looked tired, as if he hadn't slept in days, as he spoke,"A great evil has come to this blessed land, we dare not speak His name. He has overcome the Valar, and enslaved most of us here. Others have been corrupted and have joined with His forces. Very few are still able to fight against Him, our last defense against his power. His foul minions have aided His magic in the destruction of our once fair Aman." He swallowed and continued,"I am here to greet you, then to go off in search of help from Middle-earth. We hope that the courage and strength of Men may be able to come to our aid. We... are also going to ask aid of the Dwarves, and of any other race that would be willing to help us."

Sumayah heard all this and her eyes widened. One thought pierced through her mind,
My family....

Earana felt a great swelling of anger in her heart and an undeniable urge to unsheath her sword, to take arms against this unseen foe, were He Man or Beast, Elf or Maia. She had not come this far for nothing--to lose the only chance she had to meet her mother.

But this was more than personal. This evil had overcome the very home of the Valar, and raped this world of light and beauty. There was no turning back from it. In the wake of War on Middle-earth, War had once again taken root in Aman. It was inevitable.

The elf turned to walk to the smaller boat that he would take. A few elves came out of the ravaged forest and bowed to the company. "They will lead you to the closest safe place. We have a few scattered across the land, though everyday we receive word that they are being attacked. We do not know how long this one will remain truely safe." He walked to his ship, and set off. He returned to the realms below the grey rain curtain, and to the peoples he would petition to.

The company was directed to follow along the shore a ways, than break from it into an area of ravaged forest. Past this there was a small village, with many guards sorrounding it. Everyone there was tense, as if they accpected an attack at any minute.

As they had walked, Sumayah found Earana and asked,
"What do you make of these occurances?"

Earana turned to her, the fear creeping into her expression. "I don't know. I just don't know. It's as if...someone ripped a hole clean out of me."

"I know how you feel, I feel the same. It's strange, why would war once again find a home here? For what reason this time? So many questions are in my head that the speech of that one cannot answer." She looked at Earana, her eyes were now a dull grey blue compared to the brightness they had held before. They mirrored her inner feelings of sadness, confusion, and mild anger. They, however, did not hold the fear that the rest of her face did.

"I thought I would finally find it here...I thought I would find a home...heaven...how...the Valar defeated..." Earana soon became incoherent, and she wanted to slap herself for breaking down at a time like this. It was not like her. It was as if some spirit had taken a death hold about her heart and held her captive in this, of all places.

Sumayah's eyes became gentle. She placed a hand on Earana's shoulder, to try and reassure her somehow. The company was being led into a large room, where they were made to sit on the floor and wait.
[So... what should happen now...?]

She turned to Sumayah, the colour draining back into her eyes, and smiled weakly as if to say thank-you.

((No clue. gonk I wish Ithiltari was still with us. She was a good Gandalf. Bah, I've got to go.))

*Walks out of the forest and stares at the ship... in the harbor in Middle Earth...*

I wonder... i heard something was happening...but i didnt think it was anything like this

*Stands around waiting at the harbor.... wondering what all the fuss is about....*

((Tx... that helped me out alot))
[Well, since you aren't an elf, you cannot just say that you were on the ship (since it already left and we are in Aman). I'd suggest starting off in Middle Earth and leaving with the company that the elf left to bring to help. Oh, I hope you don't mind me just editing your post. ^^;]

Sumayah simply nodded, a light smile on her face. Trin was perched on her arm, and was giving her a strange look. Sumayah had never seen her eyes look like that. What's wrong with you...?

She muttered under her breath,"I wish they would tell us something, instead of just having us sit here." She sighed and stared at the floor, utterly confused.

The figure watches the company, Few have come, more will be needed The figure followed the company, with quiet foot steps, no one known of a presence of another

((O..k.))

Raksha opened her eyes to an overcast sky and closed them again. She leaned up on an elbow and groggily rubbed her eyes. It was dark out, but still now dark enough.

She peeked out from under the brush she had been sleeping in. The still bright clouds nearly blinded her. With a moan, she stepped out in search for a better means of shelter.

She shivered as she entered the vast, dark room. She held her arsm tight to her chest to keep warm and the sounds of her chattering teeth echoed off the unseen walls. He could see her breath as she exhaled. She stopped mid-way between the door and the his chair, unsure of his position in the blackness that engulfed the room. She got down on one knee and bowed her head.

By a snap of his finger, the two torches beside his throne alighted instantly. It was an unnatural blue fire that cast eerie shadows. Her eyes flicked up, but were just as quickly lowered. Her skin was red from the cold and her lips were turning blue. He would never be used to the warmth of this country, and always kept this room cold like the north where he grew up.

Tala, a great black wolf, lay at his feet and he stroked her gently while he waited for the message. She she spoke in chunks, her teeth chattering in between.

"There have been reports...of a ship. It has just...landed and there were...elves seen getting off. They were intercepted by...an Imalar and sent to the...small outpost village."

He continued to stroke Tala and at first did not seem to even hear her. After a while, he raised his head and for the first time, looked at her. Treacherous whore. He hated the elves so, and the ones that had turned to his aid even more. There was no honour in that.

"Send a host of 20 of my people and cave troll. Take hostages if you can, otherwise kill them all. We don't want them causing trouble like the last group that arrived."

He made a signal with his hand to dismiss her. She got up and left the room as quickly as she could without running.
