The Explosion nearby blinded Seichi temporarely, as Umbreon used Last Resort on the nearby Lucario.

Arannis' eyes widened, astonished, as Lucario took the hit, and Arannis held his fist tighter to himself.
Lucario, however, was not so caught off guard, as he slammed a Metal Claw right across the Umbreon.

Umbreon vanished into the silver mist, returning to Seichi. Almost instantly, Darkrai came out on it's own. As it looked at the Lucario, it rushed towards the Lucario, attempting to release Roar of Time at point blank range.

Lucario stood waiting, a Dragon Pulse ready for when Darkrai had come halfway.
Arannis saw it coming, and crossing his arms diagonally across his front, he used Protect on himself, bracing for the dissonance.
Darkrai and Lucario exchanged blows, as the Roar of Time came dangerously close to Arannis, reflecting away harmlessly, but his hand back to his chest, himself leaning over to compensate for the pain.

Darkrai unleashed Omnious Wind in between blows, before attempting to throw the Lucario off it's balance.

Strangely, Lucario's voice sounded as if it were located at the same place as Arannis' own; ~That'll be quite enough... This thing's stood far too long.~
He sidestepped off, dodging the Ominous Wind, coming around and behind, throwing an Aura Ball downwards, himself coming far up out of the resulting explosion's reach from the release.

Once again, the Silver Mist wisped and returned Darkrai to Seichi. He threw out Garchomp.
"Garchomp! Use Fury Cutter!" he said, as the Garchomp flew directly towards Lucario.

Arannis' eyes widened somewhat, gazing at the coming Garchomp.
Lucario took the hit lightly, unable to outmaneuver and instead locking into closer range, Metal Claw coming across every which way.
"It seems to me that you have gained his respect, Saichi. You are coming closer than you realize..."
