Luo shrugged but smiled. "Well, it's not that exciting. During early stages of the war, Whale Tail Island was crucial because it served as a starting point to invading the southern Earth Kingdom. I spent a couple of months there, being trained in expert Firebending by a Southern Raiders officer. He taught me Firebending moves he developed while studying the Waterbenders, such as making fire grow and disappear, and other moves that had to do with push and pull, the basics of Waterbending." He sighed, pondering the next part, then spoke. "Me and my comrades were sent to capture Gaoling by airship. We were parachuted down to Gaoling, but then we found ourselves surrounded by these Earthbender soldiers! That's where I really put my Firebending skills to the test. I led my comrades and fought our way out of Gaoling and all the way back to our base. I was then promoted to Army Lieutenant." He breathed, as if to get fresh air. "To conquer Omashu by land, we first had to pass through the Foggy Swamp. After we made peace with the chief of the Foggy Swamp Tribe, we were able to get through, but capturing Omashu was the real challenge. We couldn't get through the gorge, so we bombed Omashu, destroying its legendary Delivery System and disrupting communications. After that, we were parachuted to Omashu, where we were able to secure strategic locations in the city. I was leading a team that was responsible for capturing the palace. We bombarded the palace for many days, but the King still wouldn't surrender. So I led my team and barged in the palace in one of the exits, fighting our way in and overwhelming the Earthbenders. I was then promoted to Captain." He sighed, took a breath, and continued. "We reconsidered our strategy of conquering Gaoling. The roads leading directly to Gaoling were heavily guarded, and to parachute soldiers there was out of question. So we instead marched over the tall mountains of the Patola Mountain Range and attacked Gaoling from the north. We succeeded in capturing it and I was promoted to Colonel. Colonel Luo Agagisan."

Kikio listened with great interest and smiled when he finished, "And you say my stories are interesting! That's so cool!"

Luo Agagisan shrugged and smiled sheepishly. "It's nothing... I was following my commanders the entire time. Although there was this one time when I was leading a large regiment as a colonel. I was able to fighting my way north to Full Moon Bay. We launched a surprise attack on the Full Moon Bay base and turned it into a dock for Fire Nation navy ships. After that success, I was offered the position of general... but I declined." He saw that their food was arriving and took out a pair of chopsticks and started eating his pork chop over rice.

"Why didn't you take the position of General, if you don't mind me asking." Kikio took out a spoon and ate some of the soup she had.

Luo Agagisan sighed. "If I took the position of general, I wouldn't be able to travel the world. I would have to stay at one place and direct the war effort from that one place. Jiro's position as general is much more of a ceremonial title, as he doesn't really command troops." He started biting at the pork chop and gobbling up rice. "Plus, the people from other nations will just hate me more as a general."

"You have a point there." Kikio stated as she ate some of the rice she ordered, "I'd say that job would be rather dull since you can't go anywhere or do anything but focus on the war efforts. And- they don't hate you personally. Some people just dislike the Fire Nation in general."

Luo nodded. "But I am Fire Nation, right? I'm a soldier of the Fire Nation." He blinked and sighed, taking another bite of his food. "I think Avatar Aang is crying in his grave. He lived so that the four nations will be balanced, but many people now hate the Fire Nation. This is the same hatred that started Sozin's War in the first place. People are ignorant that the fact you need Fire in order to complete the cycle and balance the world." He sat in silence for a few seconds, then continued while eating. "Plus, if I were a general, I wouldn't have met you, nor Prince Jet, Ria, Kailee, and the others."

"People hate us for what our people did. It's sick, how they think we're all corrupt and evil..." She sighed softly and nodded, "You, once again, have a point. Being general doesn't sound too much fun anyway."

Luo Agagisan shook his head. "No, people hate us for what they think we did. They never look at their own mistakes and crimes, but only look at others." He took another bite. "Well, let's not talk about that... this is supposed to be our first dinner together, right?"

Luo Agagisan looked at the clear sky and the bright sun, which was occasionally covered by the clouds. "The weather's nice today, isn't it?" He drank a sip of tea and gobbled up some rice. "When I had free time, I would always play Pai-Sho or practice Firebending with my friends. Sometimes we would assemble ourselves like a band and play music in the town square. I would play the pipa, my friend Ying would play the flute, my friend Lee would play the erhu, my classmate Chan would play the guzheng, and my brother Sangjinu would play the drums."

Luo Agagisan looked out at the sky, smiling. "You're very pretty... I imagine you've been asked out a lot before. So... on days like this, when you have free time, what would you usually do? I'm sure there were lots of things to do in Caldera City..." He took another bite.

Kikio blushed slightly as he said that she was pretty. "Me? I'm not pretty." She laughed slightly, "Not many guys say that to me...but thank you." She smiled then paused for a moment, "What I do in my free time? Well, I usually just went out with my younger sister most of the time. I also practiced my firebending with my brothers. Other than that, I usually helped around the house."
