Generally speaking if a person is open to energy they will feel things more then people who are not.
I do think that Nathan has some sort of affect. I asked him to do something for me and while I don't think it was Exactly what I asked him to do he did accomplish something and have an affect.
Thus I don't think he's a troll. I think he is sincere and that he does seem to have some knowledge whether that knowledge be completely accurate or not isn't the issue as I mean how much information do we really have about anything.
Its not like he's saying that he Did destroy Egypt here but that he destroyed probably a shadow egypt which I mean I could do and its not like he's saying that he is all powerful just that he has experienced some things.
Everyone likes to think that they have accomplished something and maybe it is his enthusiasm for finding other practitioners that is making things get all wooly.
It probably didn't happen here but in the astral and really now Anything Can happen there because its not anything like here.
Its hard to be accurate. Its hard to proove things. I've come into this time and time again and really... you need other practitioners who know what your seeing to help you see clearly or else things get a bit distorted.

Well, one thing I can say that I had a positive affect on, was that I managed to start a huge conversation/debate, which is healthy for a guild, even though some harsh words were exchanged and it wasn't exactly friendly. lol
Anyways, no hard feelings anyone?
Let's start over and put this whole thing behind us. Now then, different topic from whether or not I am telling the truth..
Actually, instead I wish to get back onto the original topic, mainly astral projecting.
Who here can astral project, first off. And second, how long did it take you to learn?
I know some people it comes naturally, to, others have to work at it.
I know for me, once it was explained to me what it was, I tried it and got it the first time. It was probably the easiest thing I learned how to do. Stepping out of my physical body and roaming around the astral planes, or even the physical planes with my astral or spiritual body I found to be pretty easy. It's the building up of my own senses so I can see/hear/feel the spiritual realm that was hard. I never did a lot of meditation because I tend to be a little lazy.
But that is another thing that some people find easy or not. Mine developed over the period of 2 years of constant use. Though they still aren't the best, I would have to say I struggle with hearing and identifying details through sight of the astral plane, or any other plane the most. While feeling things comes the easiest to me. Though I can still hold somewhat good conversations with spiritual beings sometimes. My sight isn't horrible though, though sometimes I have to open my third eye just to get a clear sight of things. But recently I've been doing a lot more meditation and really have been trying to build my senses so I can do even more in the spiritual world. But occasionally my senses will just be shot and I will be as blind as a bat, this happened to me last night, but eventually they went back to their original state. I also found that if you start to doubt the validity of your own senses or the realness of the spiritual realm, your senses tend to go down the drain, until you can convince yourself that it is all real and it is all there. I figured that out one time when I was going through a period of self doubt.

I can mentally project (My physical body stays conscious and I stay somewhat aware of my surroundings while I move around) but since I can't reach the astral plane... it's not astral projection. However, I do find entering psychoplanes (Minds and souls) comes naturally to me.

I can stay completely conscious while I'm in the astral realm physically. Right now my spiritual body isn't even n my physical body. Hell I transfer my spiritual body back and forth from the physical realm to the spiritual realm so often I often have a hard time telling the difference sometimes. Like right now as I'm typing this, my physical body is downstairs on the computer, while my astral or spiritual body is upstairs in my room with my wife. So I suppose I could be in the spiritual realm because it's merely the spiritual form of my room, or I could be spiritually in my physical room, hell I don't even know! lol, but I could go to a spiritual place in the spiritual realm just like that. The spiritual and physical realms coexists side by side. Though even that I have a hard time comprehending because the spiritual realm is SO MUCH BIGGER then the physical realm. There are mountains the size of the US in the spiritual realm. But I know I would be in the spiritual realm if I astral projected to a place in the spiritual realm. Or I could astral project to a physical place spiritually, or the spiritual counterpart of a physical place. It's astounding how complex it all is, I have a hard time comprehending and understanding it myself. I want to say that you just have to picture the place of where you want to go then just picture yourself and feel yourself leaving your own physical body and going there but for some people it's harder than that, and others it doesn't work like that. I don't think there are any portals or doorways you have to pass through it's just something that as soon as you leave your physical body, bam! You're there. Or I could be wrong, but that's the way view it and think about it and it works for me! mrgreen

@_@ Your post made my head spin.
I know there's other realms... But I just can't seem to get to them... I can't rationalise the process for getting there.
I do know that a friend of mine sent herself into a rather deep trance and found a doorway within herself. Passing through this, she encountered the psychopomp of Death (Grim reaper sorta guy... cloak, scythe, you know) and he gave her anti-psi. Nasty stuff, that.
I don't know what that doorway is - I have a feeling it's our soul's connection to the next world - and I've never ever found it myself. Too much of myself is tied to this plane.
Hokay, we're a tiny bit off topic here.
Now... I want to know more about what these "Akashic records" are... Ishtar, if you appear, please enlighten me? I've never encountered the term before.
I understand the idea of libraries, vast repositories of knowledge on the other planes... but what are these akashic records?

The Akashic records are supposedly a book, or series of books, that detail everything that has ever and will ever happen to humanity - it's basically the ultimate encyclopedia. The concept and terminology came about thanks to the Theosophical Society, and since then, all sorts of folks have been spinning it to suit their own paradigms, stating that the Akashic Records is a metaphor for this, that and the other thing.

I wonder... given the concept of free will... if free will is true, then does the Akashic record modify itself to suit the choices? Or does it simply know which choice we'll make - thereby irrevocably binding us to that choice? Or could we change our choice if we knew it? Either way, holding that book (or those books) could potentially give you power over causality itself. I just scared myself.

He soo quoted hitch hikers guide! Hmmm... then I definitely don't have That book nor have I ever seen it. Mostly just seen various histories.
I've dealt I guess alot with Prophecy though and from what I gather in order to actually get a good feel for what will happen to humanity you have to step outside of existance which is very hard to do and stay alive and the second you step back in the world gets all fuzy again.
I know what that door way is. Its your current connection to you past self. That door way is extremely useful! Depending on where your past self is, some are in a sort of hibernation state, depends on where the door will lead you.
I used to teach people to find that door and go through it. Most people will have a connection to a place where their soul resides. Some souls are split so that they are just a shadow almost of a different being and they are having two lives that they are living at once. Some are just heavily bound. Its interesting to say the least
Its a short cut to the realms because its hard to travel out of the physical or the shadow realm unless you know where doors or holes are that exist in this realm.
Finding a door way or a hole here though isn't too difficult... whats difficult is finding one that isn't being Used. Most of the doors that I have encountered were created by semi hostile spirits who are trying to break into this realm.
Also... when some people experience culture shock... or something which completely goes against their concept of reality they will flip themselves back into their body. Thus it can take either huge amounts of mental flexibility or well a lack of self regulation tendency to have delusions and lack of being in touch with reality or wanting to escape from reality.
As to my knowledge of the Akashic records... from what I've heard its a common concept. Its the ultimate soppostitory of all knowledge of existance. I've heard it described in great length by some people who say that they've been their.
Some have said its a library some have said that its like a stream of information that exists outside of space.
What I've encountered though... was an echo of everything here which I would assume is the stream that everyone's talking about. Its like an imprint of knowledge that exists on the fringes of this place, like all the thoughts of people here and all past thoughts. Like they've been caught or something...
Its mostly jumbled nonsense and hard to make sense of but it Does leave an impression.
I've also encountered Libraries which I tend to enjoy looking at but I can't seem to Read at all its quite annoying. But I've given people who could read access to some books and learned some interesting things and I could know what was in the books without reading them which was wierd and I knew how to access the information in the books without being able to actually See anything but the cover so it was Interesting being in the library.
From what I gather people compile all sorts of information in books. Libaries that try to actually gather all of this information mostly just copy books that people make. Some books don't look like books. Some books aren't read like books. You can tell where the books came from depending on how it is related and the formating.
Some books are highly interactive. Some books are words... some books are energy some books have souls trapped in them. Some books are constructs... some books look like rocks or crystals or they create illusions. Some are protected.
In anycase... I find books to be interesting things just because they are attempts for people to store knowledge. That meant that people valued this knowledge enough to try to make it in a form that would last an eternity. It was precious to them and they wanted to make it so that others could know. While some books as far as I can tell are filled with hogswallop and caltrop some have actual information in them which is useful to know.
I have never found this Akashic record... but I wonder what would be there if I did. I think maybe people just get embroiled in books in libraries and never figure out that its just another library and not the Ultimate compendium of knowledge.
Considering how massive some of the libraries I've seen have been... I wonder how Huge the Akashic records would be.
As to questions... I've never been able to properly astral project. I don't hold much stock in that whole leaving your body completely business anyways because its dangerous and I think that you have a vast ability to multitask so why not use it?
I think that people do the complete leaving (even though I don't think its completely possible to do this) in order to fulfill an element of ego because its not justified... They don't feel as if they really Did it if they don't loose consciousness and feel like they shake rattle and roll.
If you read the person mostly... they are still in their body anyways... so like wtf mate?
I think that weather you can leave your body Is important to the discussion because then you can impart what knowledge you have -experiential like- as to what is in the realms.
As these libraries and Records aren't physical it might be important to note if you have knowledge of this level of existance, what types of suppostitories of knowledge you have run into. Books in general interest me not just the non-physical ones.
I've always had problem with my sight... I have very limited very accurate sight when I have it but outside of that... I don't know whats going on. I used to travel with people but I always felt I was sort of left out of the loop most of the time

Either way, holding that book (or those books) could potentially give you power over causality itself. I just scared myself. I know for a fact that nothing is set in stone. What your future has in wait depends on the choices you make. Should you make different choices than it will alter accordingly. An example is visions. I've had many visions of myself, the future, the past, other people and so on. However visions are only true if they come naturally or you are supposed to have the vision. If you force a vision upon yourself of say the future because for example you wanted to learn what happens to you in a few years, if you are not ready to know, or you are not supposed to know it will change automatically, sometimes for better or for worse. However even if it is ok for you to know, it could still change. For example: You find out that you die in the future prematurely. You can then take steps to avoid your way of death and maybe expand your life, changing the future of yourself, or it could go the opposite and by trying to avoid it you end up dying anyways or even sooner. Another example: You find out that you will become a professional video game tester as a career. HOWEVER you would have only achieved that because of your passion for gaming and because you pursued the career. But because you see that is the job you are going to get you think "Ah, well it's going to happen anyways so no need for me to work at it." But because you think your future will just go on autopilot and lead you to that, you stop trying, and ultimately it changes because you don't go through all the steps to get that career. I think the Akashic records act like any other future records, and I have encountered a few others that have done this, that it is based on the path you are currently going towards and the decisions you are making now. However if you change paths and make different decisions the Akashic records will change accordingly. Though there are some things that you are so strongly destined to do or become that no matter what decisions you make it will still ultimately lead up to that, though the means of getting to it or the amount of time it takes to achieving it may change based on the decisions you make.

This goes into prophecy theory. I have found its much like a web. Their are intersecting lines which converge. If there are no extraneous influences that will inhibit this convergence then they merge

I've heard it described in great length by some people who say that they've been their. That sounds like the most painful book ever. I think we are differing in our definition of past self. Past self would be the part of you that you were integrated with before you reincarnated. When I say past self it is the collection of memories and information which is supressed when you are incarnated. This past self may be having a life in the realms because as far as I can tell people can do multiple things at once and have their consciousness split completely. Not all people are capable of this... or well... if they do split one half or the other is incapable of functioning.
In these cases people go into a hibernation sleep type thing. So where this door will actually lead you may very depending on your situation. I have found it leading to a house, or a place in the realm where the persons spirit technically lives. I have found it lead to a place where everyone is asleep. It really depends on the person where you will pop out if you go through there. In anycase its a very easy shortcut to find information on people.
The hibernation place is wierd eerie and people aren't supposed to be there at all.
So if the door didn't lead you to an actual person I wouldn't be surprised as most of the time they don't. The door isn't created to lead the person to their otherself/past self its just necessary so that the person can actually exist here. Otherwise they would have issues.
Generally speaking I wouldn't know what other doors actually exist in the person themself. What other doors you could be referencing as I haven't found any that didn't serve that purpose.I also realized I was babbling. So I whited out that section of text. This of course is only really based off what seemed to be intoned when you said the word past. Its not Past Past its past as in your connection to your past or other half. Its the part you left behind so its your past even if they are existing in a parallel present and having a grand old time having no knowledge of whats going on in your life. Its not like time travel. I would have to get more details on where she went in order to know if it was the same doorway or not. I would also probably have to go through the door way and figure out where it let out. I mean most lead to houses or places of safety. Some lead to where the sleepers are and some lead to a sort of dream realm. If she tried to go to where the sleepers are she'd be stoped. If she tried to go to the dream realm the world would be more maleable and express her subconscious around her. If it was a town or a house well thats soret of self explanatory. Whatever her past self considered safe is where she would end up.

So yeah. Well... it seems strange to believe that we just come Into existance when we are incarnated. That would be a ton of new souls. But at the same time what happens to a persons memory when they die what happens when people die. What happens to people who may have work that they do. Just questions and I found answers... I don't think many people Have heard of this past self but it seems like not many people think about it. Its just a short cut that I used when trying to teach people how to practice. I used it for a couple years until I decided it was a bad idea and it created emotional problems for the person and changed them dramatically. That and I don't think I should teach people anymore anyways. But if your Ever curious it is there and can lead you to a ton of information about how the realms work and how to practice. Its like a direct link to your subconscious. Though it doesn't work for some people because some people ... well before they were incarnated they didn't know anything and you can't draw on information that isn't there. I've found its more useful for people who have some natural talent.
