Ella done what he had asked and held the piece firmly in her fingers. However, quite suddenly, the man he was preparing to patch up put a hand on his head. What the hell, was the first thing that came to mind. This was truly awkward, to have a customer acting so casually and overly... touchy. But this wasn't the weirdest part. After he spouted some words about a friend of his, also a well renowned thief, the man place his chin on his head and wrapped his arms around him. Everything seem to stop. He knew he was having a sentimental moment with himself, however, Aesto did not share this feeling yet allowed the man to do so since he was the one who could cut him to bits at a moments notice. Fortunately, it was over quickly and Aesto was able to being wrapping his arms, silently. He wanted to say something but refrained from opening his mouth, knowing bad things may be fall him if he did.

Up, over, around, repeat. The bandages spiralled around from his hands to his shoulder, since this was the only thing visible. He was satisfied with his work and took the piece the Ella held and secured the ends. This went the same for the other arm and was met with the same success. He looked at the man's arms and nodded in confirmation. "That should do it." But, of course, he spoke too soon. Mr. Grax looked to have just a plain cough however soon he complained about numerous wounds over his entire body. Aesto's palm rose to his brow realizing that he had more work to do. "Jezz! Ella, go get more bandage rolls. This guy is a complete wreck!" While she was to do that, he then turned to Mr. Grax. "It ever occur to you to go to a hospital! Take off your shirt. And don't try to hug me this time! 'Kay?" He barked. He was in awe at the man's stupidity. Then again warriors were said to be wise, not smart.

Grax chuckled at the question that was asked, coughing again afterwards and clutching his sides. "Nope. Never been to a dang hospital before. I usually just tend to my own wounds or tough it out. At least that's how it was until I met Tristan and Naroti Catz." Grax laughed a bit more, ignoring the pain he was in.

"Tristan, I think you, girl..." Grax turned to look at Ella and smiled kindly at her, "would actually appreciate him. He's a priest and a master of lightning magic. Tristan saved our lives numerous times. Naroti Catz is my wife and she happens to be an assassin." The mercenary grinned a bit as he thought back to how his wife and her boss, Donovan, had tried to kill him in the past. Donovan still picked fights with Grax every now and then, but Grax has always won.

"We've got two children together, a boy and a girl. Dammit....just thinking back to what those damned Gods tried to do..." Grax clenched his fists tight and snarled a little. "I can't believe that I had to kill Gabriel! We had fought together for so long...dammit!" The mercenary closed his eyes and pounded his fist into his knee. Suddenly, the mercenary let out a loud scream and clutched as his wounded leg. "s**t!"

Grax buried his face in his hands as he recalled everything that he had been through. "After it was all done...I just left. I don't know why...but after two years I returned to them...and tried to kill all my friends. In the end, I guess it was because I wanted to die. Dark though..." Grax began chuckling as he shook his head. "No, Dark wouldn't let me. He beat me again and refused to take my life. That was our third fight. Shurin...him on the other hand..."

Grax just closed his eyes now and went quiet as he tore what little remained of his shirt off and tossed it aside. All the horrible memories he had of past events were haunting him. That last fight with Dark, at the end of it, the Dragonite had said something to him that caused him to come to his senses once more. In fact, Grax had decided to take more time away from all of them so he could gather his thoughts and 'redeem' himself so to speak. It is part of how he ended up at this inn. Opening his eyes once more, he stared down at the young boy for a moment before turning to look at the young girl. "T-Thanks."

Ella was more surprised than anything when Aesto went silent. She was sure that nothing could shut him up, and yet... something did. Although soon enough the old Aesto she knew came back loud and clear. "So much for you getting all the bandages...."The hostess complained as she rose to her feet and dusted herself off. Just before she was about to leave, Ella stopped herself.

Somewhat curiously, the girl decided to listen for a while to the tale. There was so much she didn't understand nor know, so this little glimps seemed hard to follow. Still, Ella listened and tried to piece things together. Saddly, that went less successfully than perviously hoped. So, when the man yelled out in pain from his leg, she left. Her feet hurriedly carrying her towards the medical cabinent.

Once again, Ella had a little bit of trouble getting around people, but thankfully she was able to dodge everyone. Well, almost every. Once she managed to get to the doors, it was easy work to find the bandages, pack enough of them into a small basket and drag it away. When she returned to the two men, Grax was ripping off his shirt.

Ella felt a little awkward at the current moment and her face showed it, like it always did. When the guest gave her his thanks, she only nodded and gave him a wide smile. "Oh no problem. As long as you're happy." Her head tilted to one side as she continued her smile. "It's what I live for after all." Currently, it was true. She worked to make people happy.

Aesto ears being that of canine level, heard Ella's remark and quickly turned about and shot something back in protest. "How was I supposed to know this guy would have more holes than a 24-hour donut store!" Directly after he finished, Mr.Grax started another one of his life stories. He was glad he had so many, but seriously, learn some self control, this coming from the con-man. As he spoke, Aesto wasted no time and went to work, trying not to pay much attention. He grabbed the dishrag that Ella had used early and took his turn at clean the area around the wounds. They bleed but no so much. Aesto figured he probably bleed most of it out already. By the time Ella had returned with a full basket of bandages, he was finishing up the cleaning and ready to wrap him up.

He took hold of one of the rolls and started the process of giving Ella a piece while he wrapped it around the man's upper body, something he didn't take pleasure in. But his skill was apparent in the work he did, each round of the fabric uniformly overlapping each other. Aesto smirked remembering learnt this skill over years of practice as knifes and glass bottles tended to hurt when thrown at high velocity. He did the same for the legs and feet, before making sure he didn't have an other kinds of injures.

Grax faced them and gave his gratitude for their work. Aesto didn't take much from this besides a sweat brow and no profit. This tended to be the way his life worked in the inn, nowadays. Then Ella opened her mouth and replied, something that he didn't share. It was an order from the Mr.Winn so he had to. But seconds after Ella had finished, Aesto looked over to her with a joking pout on his face. "How come you never make me happy?"

Ella found herself seated beside the guest again, her hands taking hold of every peice of bandage handed to her. The back of her mind recited small sequences of songs as she put up with the simple task of taking, holding, letting go, taking, holding, letting go...etc. 'I'm gonna break, break, break, break, break your heart. I'm only gonna break....' The song raged on until all the cuts had been covered.

When Aesto's comment came up, Ella couldn't help but lift an eyebrow. She knew it was just a taunt, yet for some reason or another she started, "Well," her eyes looked to her co-worker, "I'm broke. The only way you'd be happy is if you could steal from me. So, what can I do?" She paused for a minute before hastily adding in, "Not that I'd ever want you to steal from me. Ever. Never Ever. Just no." Her lips were pulled in an almost frown as she looked to Grax and then back to Aesto, "Please don't." 'I should probably just change subjects... Or at least shut up.' Ella thought as she tried to surpress the red in her face. "But Mr. Grax, how are you feeling? Would you rather stay here or go to the quietness of your room? Aesto can take care of your bags." She offered another kind smile.

Grax smiled at the two and bowed his head to them. "Thank you very much, both of you." Rising from his position on the couch, Grax turned to the young woman, Ella. "I would very much like my things taken to my room. However, before that, I'd like to give you both something as means of payment." A grin crossed his face again as he took two pouches of gold coins off his belt and tossed one each into Ella's & Aesto's hands. "I've got more for you little treasure hunter if you're interested. Miss Ella, if you would like, feel free to take a look through my treasure. You & Aesto can take whatever you'd like."

The mercenary shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the bags he had been dragging. His blood had stained them, but it didn't really matter to him if the bags were clean or not. Bending over, Grax grabbed the many bags near their tops and hoisted them into the air and over his shoulders. Just one of these bags weighed so much that most men could only drag about one at a time. Thanks to the training he had endured and the power bestowed upon him by certain magical items he had obtained throughout his journeys, lifting things much heavier than himself was an easy feat.

Smirking back at the two that had helped him, he shrugged his shoulders. "So, which one of you wants to guide me to my room hm? I don't feel much like resting, and knowing me I'd probably end up training till I collapsed. Soooo, if you want a look at the treasure, now's as good a time as any I suppose." Grax closed his eyes for a brief moment before turning his head and looking off in the direction the owner had went. His body still hurt like hell, but Grax was never one to rest as he had said. One of his reasons for inviting them to his room to take a look at the treasure was so that he would rest like he should be doing.

{Sorry it took so long.. >_<''}

And as the knight raised his sword, all the angels, the golden cherubs in Heaven began to sing. Glorious harmonies filled the brave hero's ears, as if to shed him strength, share with him the wisdom and courage of a thousand years before his time. With that, the mighty dragon roared. Blood stained fangs and claws shimmered in the sunlight, with such a beautiful, yet hideous detailed glow..
Yet again, Liliana heard her name called out.
"..Eh?"
Pulled away from this world of adventure and fantasy, the girl found herself nibbling on her lower lip, staring into the thin pages of her novel. Had the owner just called for her?.. Yes. He did. Grunting briefly, a tad annoyed, the woman placed her book down once again, this time tucking it away into a pocket of her dress.
"Coming!.."
What had she done now?.. Was she in trouble? She hoped not.. Reaching up a steady, little hand, her fingers ran through strands of hair, pushing them away from her eyes as she stepped out from the kitchen. Turning her head to focus on the bar, near her boss, Lily began to walk quickly over to him, making haste so not to seem like she had been lazily reading before.

"Mr. Winn.. Yes? What can I do for you?.."
Tilting her head to the side a bit, her eyes raised up to him, offering a polite smile to her words. Hands neatly folded near her lap, she quietly cleared her throat, waiting for a response. Standing up straight, she figured it might help to step a bit closer, but not too close.. Still, even after working here for a while, she was awkward. A nervous, clumsy personality, it was astonishing that she was so balanced and careful when serving as a waitress. Just another puzzle of the Inn's witch, she supposed..

{Sorry it's so short.. D: Ahh. I fail today.}

Kail Winn

Mr. Winn regarded the two tending to Grax with some interest as he periodically would look away to make his watching not seem so obvious. When Kail had seen his hostess obeying so easily, he felt disapointment. He hoped to really make his employees cringe. Thankfully he'd at least be able to fufill one of his needs.

"Ah, there you are, Lilian. Busy today?" A sly smile once again came on his face as he dragged his eyes away from the far away couch to his waitress. "I assumed so. Anyhow, I would like to get a beer and a short conversation." Relaxing, Mr.Winn leaned back on his chair. One of his arms slung over the side and the other lazily resting on its armrest. His attention taken by the waitress, he felt the need to add, "Unless you're too busy of course." He looked back away to the mended man as pouces of gold were handed to both of his young employees. It caused him a little disheartenedness, but he knew that, that would soon go away when he made them work more.

It wasn't that he hated his employees, it was actually quite the opposite; however, Kail's expression of love seemed a little cruel. This was mostly due to his priority of his own entertainment than anything else, so the needs of his workers would be pushed away to keep him happy. Selfish? very.

"No.. No, I'm not too busy."
Shaking her head quickly, Lily stepped behind the bar, quietly moving about to fetch the man his drink. Most of the time, she found herself working in the kitchen, serving dishes and plates to guests, so it was a given that she would be taking a moment longer than necessary to find where the beer bottles were kept. Tapping her chin lightly with the tip of her right index finger, her gaze darted about the bar, balancing a hand on her hip at the same time. Suddenly, a smile erupted onto her lips as she focused on a beer tap protruding from behind the main counter. Standing in front of it, she reached out, carefully grasping the handle of a fairly sized mug, making sure not to drop it. As her free palm pressed down on the tab, Liliana watched as the steady flow of the owner's desired beverage drained out to fill the container. As the fizz gathered up to the very top of the opening, she withdrew her arm back to her side, standing back up straight. Finally, grabbing a small, white napkin, the waitress set the drink down before Mr. Winn. As a sigh came from the young woman, she leaned forward against the bar counter, arms folded over one another to support a seemingly fragile figure.

"What's on your mind, Mr. Winn?.."
As her words floated along in the air, Liliana couldn't help but become distracted by even the smallest, most insignificant thing. Emerald eyes fixed on a drop trickling down the outside of the mug she had just served to her boss. The glistening, intoxicating little droplet just looked..so appealing, with its distinct coloring, and tone. Lily barely ever drank alcohol, even though she clearly was of age to. It just didn't fit her taste, or satisfy any thirst she could quench. Honestly, she preferred a cup of hot apple cider.. Or, even some type of sweet fruit smoothie. But, at the moment, her sudden interest in this little drop wasn't from wanting something for herself to drink down. It was mostly her appreciation of chemicals, and the topic of chemistry, which was close enough to what she practiced in witchcraft.

Prying her eyes from the glass, she looked up to him as she waited for a reply, wondering what sort of short conversation he had wanted. And as she noticed a couple of fellow employees conversing from afar, she figured the reason he had called her over was because she wasn't really doing anything at the moment. Liliana never really spoke with anyone around the Inn.. Which was why her mind had just now been wandering off to considering his intentions from choosing her out in particular. But, there most likely was no specific reason behind it. Shaking her head, Lily told herself ,mentally, to focus, as she glanced back to watch him once again.

It was amusing to watch Ella struggle to correct herself. It made her seem less like another woman who hated him and more... cute. Her pleas however did not go unheard, for Aesto knew she hadn't a thing to give him. He was the same. Both of them had given most of what they earn to Mr.Winn. Still it would have been nice to receive something from her. The only he could think of at the moment he was dead sure was never going to be given to him. Sometimes it sucked to be a thief.

But the gold was a nice touch though. Yes. As payment for he and Ella's work, the two received a bag that jingled upon being dropped into their hands. Aesto instantly knew what was in them and almost as quickly realized that he wouldn't see a single piece of it, having an outstanding debt to Winn, at the moment. He cried on the inside as he tuck the pouch away into his pocket. But before his hopes for profit were ultimately extinguished, four words brightened his smile and put a certain devilish twinkle in his eyes. '...take whatever you'd like.'

Aesto turned to Ella with the same stars in his eyes, nodding rapidly, anxious to see if she, too, would accompany their guest to his room to peer at the man's inventory of foretold treasure, still not believing what he said himself. Not entirely. Who would it had to be too good to be true If Ella agreed that would have to mean it was real and if she didn't he would still go in hopes of his boast being true. If he could find something nice he would be able to payback Winn even more, growing steadily closer to his goal. However, knowing himself all too well, he was probably going store it away for safe keeping, hidden from the unquenchable greed of his boss.

Ella felt the bag of gold in her hand with a heavy heart. It was a nice guesture, but she knew most of it would never be spent by her anyhow.Still, the waitress gave her 'thank you', to Grax with a smile and a bow. The girl momentary took a pause to her part of the conversation to peer over at Mr. Winn. She hoped he haded been watching, but her luck was never so good. There he was, in the far back, watching them as more to mock them than anything else. Childishly she stuck her tongue out at him before turning back to her co-worker and guest.

When his treasure rose into the conversation, the hostess wasn't paticularly interested. Money was never her big interest, but seeing the enchanted look in Aesto's eyes, it was hard to refuse. Some part of her wanted to say no and see what the waiter would do. The other part of her didn't want to go back to her normal work just yet. So, somewhat delayed, Ella answered, "I guess we'll both help you up." Her smile was less full than normal, but it could still be seen as it crossed her face.

After rising from her chair and fixing her shirt, Ella waited for the other two before they started off. It wouldn't take long to get there. Just over to the main desk, up some stairs and down the hall a few steps. But before heading off, Ella felt bad that Grax was hurt and carrying his own bags, so she had to ask, "Would you rather we carry those bags for you?"

Grax chuckled a bit and shook his head. "No, I'm just fine. Sure, I may be in a little pain, but compared to situations I've been in before..." The mercenary shrugged his shoulders and just smiled at them as he followed them upstairs. As they approached his room, Grax let out a deep sigh and shook his head. "These things are too heavy for most people to carry like this. I think just one of these bags would be good for Thief Boy here, and I'm darn sure there are some things in these bags you would appreciate, but trying to take it all might prove a bit much for either one of you I'm afraid."

Entering his room, Grax smiled a bit as he looked around. The mercenary walked to a corner of the room and depositied the bags there. He winced and clutched at his shoulder, almost immediately falling to his knees. "Ugh, dammit that still hurts." Grax let out an irritated moan before rising to his feet again and turning around. "I'm giving you these things because I want you to have them. So try not to let your boss deprive you of what I've given you all right?"

Grax had noticed the two exchanging looks with the inn's owner a few times when they were downstairs. Noticing who they were looking at, the mercenary couldn't help but feel a tad bit irritated. "I don't like greedy pigs. If your boss wants to deprive you of everything for his own amusement, or if he demands that you give it all to him, or something..." Another irritated sigh escaped from his lips and he smacked his face. "Some of this treasure is actually quite rare. A few of the items actually happen to be enchanted, or so I've heard. I've dealt with enough magic in my lifetime however, and I've got enough power myself, so I don't need any of this. So take it, hide it, and keep it for yourselves. Do what you'd like with it."

Grax sat on the edge of his bed and lit a fireball in his hand and stared at it for a moment. "Still can't believe I got such a power simply for completing a few damn trials." After a while, Grax blew a cold wind from his mouth and turned the fireball into a beautiful ice sculpture. Immediately after that, he crushed it in his hands and watched the water drip to the floor below. With a wave of his hand, a warm wind surrounded the water that had dripped to the floor and quickly dried it. "Ugh." The mercenary just threw himself back on the bed and lay there staring at the ceiling. "Life sucks."

This guy was sure something. He was just so... dense. Could probably take on a tank barrage to the head and still win the day, but was still dull enough think he wouldn't need some sort of medical attention after for the concussion the he would most likely suppress afterwards. Still he was the customer and he wasn't supposed to be an advisor. He was to be a waiter, a servant of any inn customer. But he enjoyed his shared feeling toward his money devouring boss. Oh, but there was a small snag to that. Aesto and Winn were both quite greedy, so by association of greedy pigs, Mr. Grax would also hate Aesto. If it wasn't one this is was always another.

But now came the good part. The treasure. Already knowing the bag that contained the treasure, having heard a difference in jingling noises that each bag made when they were thrown to the ground --God, did he love his canine hearing-- and made a beeline for it. With surprisingly quick hands, Aesto had placed each item on the floor around him in a neat semi-circle. With eyes of a connoisseur, Aesto inspected each item looking for anything that could bring in a small fortune. He wasn't interested in magical object for the only one he ever needed was the one he already had. So now he search for an item the filled his mental checklist of: Material, Condition, Craftsmanship, Smiths signature, Ornate Jewel placement, Age, and finally historical relevance. He took pride in having spent a year as an assistant museum curator learning the trade and selling good finds to private collectors for his own profit as well as some not-so-good finds at the same price with a damn good speech to spice it up. He could sell a useless iron scrap as if it were a burned King's crowd. But the money didn't matter now. What did was the skill set he took away from that experience.

Quietly, he pondered. Once in awhile he would life a certain item to his eye, place it down, and lift another to be governed by his squinted glare. Aesto was so intent on finding a great item that he was completely oblivious to the magic being performed by Grax. It was another minute and half before Aesto finally nabbed and item, placing it aside, and returning the others to the bag which it came from. He rose, taking his new treasure in his hand and heading for the door, adding a quick a sneaky "thanks." Aesto wasn't sure that Grex knew what he actually had but Aesto used it to his advantage and enjoyed it. He made a momentary stop by his room, tucked his treasure away. He would find a way to sell it later. For now, he had to get back to work or Winn would get curious about he and Ella's absence.

His footsteps rushed down the steps however slowed as he enter the lobby. Looking around, Winn was still at the bar and his customers were looking quite impatient having been waiting for there bills. With great haste, Aesto went to work collecting the plates hoping Ella would be allow soon enough to help him out. Not that he wasn't capable but he lacked the bills of Ella's customers.

Kail Winn

With the guest fully wrapped in bandgaes, Winn half wondered what they would do next. That was until he saw the customer take up his own bags and head upstairs. "Odd," he muttered under his breath. It was an unexpected move, or at least he thought, to wander upstairs right after being pampered to help him heal.

When his waitress returned laying his drink before him, Kail let another sly smile sneak across his face. "Well, nothing in particular. Just some fleeting ideas that die as quickly as a doe shot between the eyes." The owner took hold of his drink and pulled it off the counter. He delayed placing the rim to his lips until after he had took a glance towards the couchs. It took little time for Mr. Winn to replant the large mug before him. When he had, his attention turned to Liliana, "But what about you, Liliana? We don't seem to chat enough."

Kail ankored his head to the side as he pulled his free hand through his hair, shaking it until his normal semi-messy hair style was refreshed. "But I guess that was never your interest, huh? Talking. I really wish you would say more." The owner went silent as he let out a heavy breath and sipping down more of his beer.

Ella found it hard not to day dream as she unawarely walked up the stairs and into room 5. Aesto's interest for the mis-matched objects seemed a little too intense for the hostess, so she decided to sit and wait until he was finished. She half wondered what was going through his mind when he picked up each selected object and sorted it. Probably dealing with money, but that was more of an well educated answer than just a random guess.

Ella finally woke out of her daydreaming state when a small light began to flicker in the room. Her eyes were drawn to the source: a small fire resting in the palms of the guest. She watched with some interest as the man manipulated the flame, blew at it, and made ice. But soon enough her co-worker was done and headed out the door, so it was her turn to take a look.

While she may have taken a while to decide, it wasn't because of the value of each piece that kept her. It was preception of each piece. In her mind, Ella was already set on finding a small, yet cute or somewhat talently crafted object. It didn't take long till she got her hands on a small metal fox. The knick-nack seemed to be made from old seperate parts of other objects that had been bolted together to create a sturdy yet somewhat misshapen animal. In truth, she liked it. It was unique. So, taking the single object in hand, Ella rose and headed out. Finding herself in the doorway, the girl stopped and turned around. "Thank you again. We really appreciate it. Um... If you need anything, please call. We'll be downstairs by the bar if you wish to tag along and chat... Thanks again." The hostess explained before bowing and leaving down the stairs.

Seeing Aesto in the background already attending table, Ella smiled. After stuffing the little toy fox into her pocket, she headed over to the waiter. "Hey! As if you started without me! Are you trying to make me look bad?" A wide taunting grin crossed her face as she waited for his reply.
