"Or maybe he'll have to learn on his own if he doesn't want to starve," Zealia joked with a smile, stepping into the forest and getting a look around. She'd come through less than a day ago, yet as she looked around she couldn't quite recall how she got through the forest. She was excited, but also a little worried. She had repels the first time through, but she sold the rest to buy more pokeballs.

"This place is great, isnt it?" She said happily. "I skipped school all the time and came here." She said and tossed her Pokeball in the air. "Come on our Ember! You'll love it here."
Ember came out of his Pokeball and stretched. "Char, Char?" It said sniffing the air.
Lily clapped. "I knew you'd like it!"

"This is my second time here, and the first time I kinda hurried through it. Though, this will be Animus's first time here," she said as she took out his pokeball. "Come get a look!"
She gave the ball a toss, and Animus popped out, sitting down in the grass and apparently asleep. "Hm. Maybe I didn't think that all the way through."

Ember waddles over to Animus and poked him in the head with his paw. "Char? Char, Char." He said, obviously trying to wake the other Pokemon up.
Lily Giggled. "Well, I think we should get some distance covered. We can stop is a few hours for lunch." She said. "Ember, can you wake Animus up?"
she asked.
Ember sighed, poking Animus again. "Charmander....."

"I'm not sure if that's the best idea, really," Zealia mumbled in a slightly worried tone as Ember prodded Animus, who continued to remain motionless. No sooner than she finished her sentence did Animus glow slightly before teleporting right behind her. However, he still seemed to be sleeping peacefully. "That was actually a much better result than I thought it would be."
She knelt down next to Animus and picked him up moving him up onto her shoulders so his head rested on hers as he slept. "This will do," she said with a smile. "Shall we?"

Lily nodded. "Come on Ember, this way." She said, beginning to walk to the right. She smiled happily as she walked through the sun dappled bath. "So, tell me what your home town is like. You've seen mine now." She said, Ember walking closely at her side.

"It's big, to say the least. It's not quite as big as Saffron City, but thanks to the popularity of the shopping center there's a lot of people who move there or just visit there a lot," Zealia said as she followed along, careful not to disturb Animus much. "Although, to the south of town it's a lot more green, the most green area being Erika's gym." She grinned a little. "Miss Erika's really pretty, but she's also a strong gym leader."

"Well I certainly like Green!" Lily said happily, motioning to the forest around her. "I feel so much more at home in a forest than anywhere else." She smiled. "Trees and grass and Pokemon. It's so nice. I considered getting a bulbasaur you know."
"Char, Char." Ember looked up at his trainer, looking sad.
"Awww, but I'm glad I picked you Ember." She said happily. "You're way better than any bulbasaur."

Zealia chuckled. "Looks like he's a little jealous," she taunted with a grin, chuckling a little bit as she looked around. "I like being just about anywhere, though. I like nature, but I also don't mind the city. I guess it's just in my roots~"

"The only place I really dont like is being underground." Lily said. "Which means Mt. Moon is going to be just awful. But at least I'll have my little Ember to lead the way." She said happily "He'll be my personal little light in the dark."
Up ahead in the grass there was a rustling and a small caterpie popped it's head out of the grass.

"I had a bit of a bad experience with Mt. Moon on the way here, so I'm a little worried about it right now. To be honest, the one place I don't really like is Lavender Town all that much, the tower there is kind of unnerving to me," Zealia admitted as she noticed the caterpie pop up out of the grass. "You want to take a shot at that first?" Zealia offered with a smile, looking over at Lily and Ember.

"Sounds like a plan!" Lily said, "Go on Ember, You can do it." She said encouragingly.
Ember sprung forward in front of the caterpie, scaring the smaller Pokemon. "Char!"
"Alright Ember, scratch attack!" She ordered.
Ember nodded and rushed towards the bug Pokemon. Caterpie shot a string shot, slowing Charmander down, but he kept going, scratching at the bug. "Keep going!" Lily ordered. After a few seconds more she ordered Charmander to back up and threw a Pokeball at the Caterpie.
The Pokeball hit the ground, shaking back and forth slightly before finally going still.
"...did I catch it?"

Zealia cheered Lily on as she watched the girl capture her first pokemon, and smiled. "It certainly looks like it, great job!" Zealia congratulated the girl, patting her on the back. Animus, still apparently asleep, raised its hand into the air as if to give a little cheer for her as well.

Lily ran forward and picked up the Pokeball. "We did it Ember!" She said happily, holding the Pokeball up. "I should name him." She said. "I dont know what to name him. This is so exciting! I know! I'll name him margarine! Because he'll be Butter-Free."

Zealia nearly fell over because of that statement, only just barely managing to keep her balance. "T-that's a good name," she murmured, unable to keep a straight face but managing to keep herself from laughing.
