Message from the DM : (a.k.a. Me, Out of Character)
Announcement : This mission will have to wait to start until Death gets around to making the 'Missions' subforum. Please hang tight until then. I promise a fun dungeon with lots of silly weirdness and puzzles. xd
Also, there are slots open! C'mon people, you know you want join!

Akio entered the shop after hearing everything and said "Sure, i'm in"

"Ohohoho..." , Cobra said as he looked up from his pillow to the newcomer... "He's in he says..." , Cobra then vanished from the pillow, his image blurring into faded lines before suddenly reappearing behind Akio with a small wisp of wind following him. "...does he think he's invited?" Again, Cobra vanished in much the same way as before, only now he reappeared upside down, staring directly into Akio's eyes with a mischievous smile on his face. "...and what makes him think he's worthy?"The entire scene was strange to really anyone looking on. Cobra was standing upside down, the bottoms of his boots glowing with a thin blue aura which suspended him from a dim light hanging from the ceiling. stranger then that however was that only his scarf and the sleeves of his robe seemed affected by gravity, hanging down off of him... but his hat, and more importantly the cat sleeping on top of it were unaffected, each one hanging upside down with him as if he hadn't moved from his upright position at all. -----------------------------------------------------------------((Note: when I say 'vanishes' and 'reappears' with Cobra, think Shunpo, or Flash Steps from Bleach.))

"As i recall, you said there were two slots open incase someone wanted to join" Akio said after vanishing and reappearing behind cobra much like cobra did but not as fast

By the time Akio had moved, Cobra had already turned around to face him in the eye again, well before he started speaking..."...and as I recall", he said with great emphasis on the 'I' ..."I asked you what makes you think you're worthy of the honor of going on this mission for me..." Cobra's eyes were piercing, both of them dark red and almost animal-like as they stared at Akio waiting for his answer...

"Answering a question with a question is not an answer my young friend..." Tired of this game, Cobra disappeared again to return to his pillow, sitting in a meditative style as he picked up his pencil and began filling out paperwork again.
"The relativity of worthiness does not matter, so long as you answer the question. It is for the one who asked the question to decide if you are worthy or not, based off of your answer. However, if you choose not to answer, I suppose I'll never know if I could trust you to carry out my missions. A shame really...such a simple thing to ask of someone."

"I will not answer the question. And now if you wish not of my presence i shall take my leave" Akio bowed, turned on his heel, then began walking to the exit

After executing a few quick hand seals, Cobra touched the wall behind him and a slab of stone fell in front of Akio, blocking his exit from the shop..."Come now my boy, why so stubborn? When did I ever say that I did not wish your presence? I have simply been trying to learn more about you." Cobra put the pencil down and then turned to Akio, hoping he would face him...
"As far as I am concerned, no one is worthy of anything in this world. We get by with what we can, in whatever capacity we are able to. No one person is more worthy then another...all people are equal, despite levels of ability or status. The question is simply a way to find out more about someone, to see what their perspective in life is, and to see what type of person they are. If you do not wish to take part in the mission, I will not stop you from leaving this time, but you would be missing out on some real fun."
"What do you say?...are you still in?"

"Wonderful!...I'm glad to hear it." Leaving his hand against the wall for another few seconds, Cobra retracted the stone slab between Akio and the exit and picked up his pencil again to return to his work.
"Please browse the shop while you're here, it might be a good idea to know what you'll be working for. The mission can start as soon as I can finish mapping the way to the Cave for you. Hopefully, it shouldn't take too much longer."

Haruko was just about to answer Kyoma's question when she heard a voice coming from near the entry way. Turning to face the newcomer, it turned out to be Akio. 'I guess he also somehow found his way down here.' Once again, Haruko was about to speak but she heard Cobra's voice and decided to wait till their conversation was over. She watched as the two conversed with each other with interest, 'Wow, that Cobra's technique really is amazing. I wonder where he learned them all?' and after they finished she saw Akio leave.
Turning back to face Kyoma, she whispered, "I'm sure it does, either when it's hungry or when it has to go but I agree with you, that cat is adorable, I would love to pet it as well."

Kyoma smiled after watching the conversation between Cobra and Akio. I could do that, I'm just not as fast yet. Man am I glad I studied a lot of taijutsu. She looked back to Haruko, almost not hearing her reply. "I wonder when we begin the mission." she quietly, speaking her next though.

Haruko shrugged hr shoulders before she replied to Kyoma's question, "Who knows," She then turned to look at Cobra, "So I'm assuming that we are free to go now right? Since all that's left is for us to show up tomorrow and complete the mission correct?"
